Wow. Someone's desperately trying to push the price down.  Cheesy

I can see 1500 in the horizon and its not a mirage.....
1682  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $100! on: December 09, 2013, 07:35:58 PM
Yes, we are going to see $100-200 levels before 2014 in my opinion.
 Tongue

I for one would keep buying even at 200 or 100 oe 20
1683  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $100! on: December 09, 2013, 06:38:53 PM
I meant per BTC. Not a portion of one.

My reply was sarcastic. Cheesy
1684  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $100! on: December 09, 2013, 06:35:47 PM
Will wer ever see those prices again?  Huh
I sure hope so.

Yes we will.

1685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 09, 2013, 06:33:39 PM
There are basically just enough bulls to keep this price steady.

It's just getting warmed up.

hey Sitarow,

I wonder if buyers are clicking on my reseller link or yours?  Grin  LOL

BTW, have you sold any/many?

Cheers
merv77

Not sure if it works.

The only ones that gave me credit are the ones my local mates have purchased. Smiley

Not 10 yet.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 09, 2013, 03:51:36 PM
I am grateful for the 50% panic sale of bitcoin. I replenished the coins I spent on my Neptune.
there are only 400 left.

Edit: Some say they are sold out.
Used my reseller link seems to show stock. Anyone else notice this?

what you mean
only 400 nepture miner??

No they were claiming that they get a sold out or not in stock text.

Last I checked it was down to 400/1500

Edit: now there are only 373
1688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was that the top of the dead cat bounce? on: December 09, 2013, 09:51:41 AM

its that so many people still feel this way that makes it so we can have such awesome bull traps

1689  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks familliar? :S on: December 09, 2013, 09:43:22 AM
Don't see anything here that I identifies with the current situation.  I don't think a lot of those that expect a crash greater than 61.8% understand the sheer amount of money that was and is still coming in.  Over 225 Million dollars has changed hands in the last three days alone, just on Mt. Gox along with 2.25 Billion Yuan (~367,000,000 USD) on BTC China.

OP, before shorting, you should do some extrapolations and atleast integrate some mathematics instead of trying to confer something with which you cannot grasp.

+1

But here's a pat on the back for trying OP.

That chart has been used to validate week hands and over leveraged investor's liquidating BTC holdings at $4 $12 $31 $266 $?

Those that use btc as a headge against inflation have historically succeeded by using the buy and hold stratigy.

If you must, set your entry and exit point and don't let market day to day sentiment sway you.

Yet realize that exiting BTC to your fiat of choice will leave you with a bad after taste.
Unless of coarse that move resulted with you having more BTC and debt free in the end.

seems like someone doesn't like the CHOO CHOO

One vs the masses.
Many people who have been on the side lines are going to be verified at the exchanges today.

Excellent effort, but ... I think the network is worth a tiny bit, like waaaaaay more. IMO.

The examples posted here for argued value is like trying to put a price on the internet itself back in the late 90's.

Chips and dev boards for now

Pictures confirm the release event and functionality.  One person was able to get a single chip to hash at 84 KH/s.

This could be a game changer.. at least as hardware is concerned.

Neptunes are down to 787/1500
KNC details say only 1200 will be sold this batch.

Leaving 487 units up for grabs.

Don't forget kncminer.cn they seem to still have Jupiters for sale

Just looked and all sold out.

Says sold out, yet you can still put in your cart and checkout?...

shows there are only 714/1500 for me

I followed my reseller link in my sig.

Seems to show inventory.
1696  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 28nm vs 20nm on: December 09, 2013, 03:17:49 AM
I think KNC missed the boat on not doing another batch of 28nm......   but  they are the millionaires....
https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-24

I guess they decided to not release more 28nm units due to lack of competitors who are actually shipping. Amazing isn't it, a company who actually sticks to their promises.

seems the hardware market is heating up.

Hot out of the oven!

Quote
Things are moving quickly! We finally have the first Golden Nonce chip, we began testing it —sending the first current through the 28nm chip to see how it performs. So far, things are looking very good. HashFast co-founder and CTO Simon Barber to give us the play-by-play of the first tests.

We brought up IOVdd first. Up to 1.8V — draws less than the minimum 10mA the bench supply reads.
Next core.

Something odd was observed here. Initially, we saw high current draw as we brought the voltage up, reaching 0.7V where it was drawing 2.5A. As the voltage increased a little over 0.7v the current suddenly dropped to 82mA. It stayed there up to Vddcore=0.8v. This odd pattern of high current at low core voltage was repeatable. RST held low. MODE and BYPASS were held high. PLLVdd pulled to Vdd. All other inputs seemed to float low, with a 1Mohm impedance probe.
Next CLK was applied — first 37Hz. 4mA increase in Vdd core current. Took chip out of reset. No change. Next increase clock speed, this increases current. In a couple of steps, we got it to 6Mhz, where the core Vdd was drawing 548mA.

After a few minutes, we turned things off. On retrying, we didn’t find the same odd, high current during ramp of core Vdd. Perhaps this was due to CLK floating then, and not since?
Calling it a night, having trouble getting the serial port levels shifted correctly. Will continue in the morning.

Looking forward to the results.

Just imagine if KNC used those warranty seal stickers on their rigs. If you open up the top you would be forced to break that seal and then you void warranty instantly. We would all be in big trouble if that was the case.
Never gonna happen, considering this is often how they arrive  Cheesy

Yes. Also there is a typo in the last word that says "records.d" which seems odd. I just hope I'm still looking at the real BTCGuild website.

used cached passwords saved in your google profile. At least this way your not sending clear text to a fake site.

Sorry about the '.d'.  That was me adding a little debug text to figure out which part of the code was triggering the error.  Should be all fixed now!

Yes working good.
