I only joined Devtome a couple of days ago but already have articles up on the Devtome page. Do the articles have to be added to the link tree of the topics section by admin before they will be counted by the script?
No the script only 'reads' your page, but it's very helpful to include a category at the base of your articles and then add them to 'Most Recent'. It can take a while between doing that and then adding to the link tree. With hits and popularity now also a (smaller) factor in earnings, doing that also increases your earnings potential. I guess that I must be doing something wrong then. I have entered a couple of articles and have properly filled out the receipt section on Devtome.com but when I check the daily account31.csv on http://d.evco.in/charity/ I don't see my user name in the Devtome earning section. If you could provide any insight into what I am doing wrong. It would be most helpful. Thanks Bittzy78 |

I just looked at the round 31 account file to check my wordcount and noticed under "Devtome Earnings" that the line with my username, address, and wordcount has been deleted. I recently put subheadings on my user page on devtome because I had seen some other users do that and I abhor a long list without them, but could that be messing with the script that does the wordcount?

I think you might have to spend 10 minutes explaining the on-page explanation of Bitcoin to whomever you give that card to.  You might get questions and statements such as... It is Digital what? What the hell is this computer code looking thing? Can you spend this at Wal-Mart? What is this Bibcoin stuff? Back in my day, we didn't give paper whatchamawhosits for Christmas presents! |

Yeah, I think you really hit the hammer on the finger with that analysis of the reason Bitcoin is crashing.
I would also like to offer as a reason for the crash...
A scientist somewhere advised there has been a 30% increase of ass gas in adult crypto-coin buying males during the last couple of weeks.

If you ever see me posting late at night, between 10pm and 2am, there's a good chance I'm on my tablet, stuck on a crapper for hours, not being able to tear myself away from here.
I generally never have the luxury of spending more than 5 minutes on the porcelain throne at any one time... my kids usually see to that. Tell me more about your kids and are they ever left home alone?  Posted while taking a shit. Ah crap.. OUT OF TP AGAIN!!! |

This happens when there's still a piece of shit hanging from your arsehole, and when you wipe, you're just dragging it across your arse without getting rid of it. What you need to do when that happens is grab the shit with the paper, and then you'll be able to wipe normally without using up the whole roll. Great! My wife has me on the cabbage diet all this week. I assure you, I have felt the need to take a continual shit since we started this thing on Sunday. Guess what I cooked for dinner tonight. While I agree with what some are saying about how mining new coins can be fun, sometimes it just isn't worth the effort. Case in point... I had about 130MH's on CEX.IO and let it mine for about a week. At the end of the week I was able to mine about 1/5th of a Devcoin along with much less of a Bitcoin and Namecoin.
In comparison, I went over to the Devcoin Faucet site (link below in my signature) and was able to get 5 whole Devcoins for a couple seconds of work. I was a little stunned that it was so much easier to have them given to me instead of waiting for them to be mined.

My birthday kind of sucked. Last night I just got drunk with friends and I paid for all my drinks and nobody got me anything. I've gotten these fuckers stuff before... hell I've made them shirts before (some not all). *sigh* today was nothing. Literally been home all day.
Ok, for them not to even offer you a drink on your birthday is a little strange. I think you should return the favor by offering to take one of them to the airport one day and not showing up. |

I like to hear bad sides and good sides of my forum site. www.ecoiner.org It's less a week i started developing it. It's going to be much better hopefully with your feedbacks. I do my best to thank you "big" for critics and congrats... I like the layout and the forum stats being easy to read and up top. The problem is it is going to be difficult for you to make inroads with a new Bitcoin specific forum. Perhaps you should expand the discussion threads to other topics not related to Bitcoin.
