Some general marketing ideas...
Once we have a paper wallet...
Gorilla marketing - Have a couple of people go where college aged kids congregate... such as a college or entertainment district, and offer free C2 crypto in paper form. It might help to have C2 hats and shirts on when you do this.
Sell on ebay - You are not allowed to sell crypto on ebay (people get away with it anyways) but there aren't really any rules against giving it away. You could do a dual listing with say a used video game titled " Used Super Mario Bros 3 NES & Free Cryptocurrency Paper Wallet."
The main thing to remember is you can't leave a paper trail discussing anything dealing with the sale of crypto. They are simply a freebie to go with the physical product you are selling and shipping to the buyer with tracking (an absolute must). Just make sure to use the right keywords in the title such as "Like Litecoin" or "Litecoin Like."
I have several items laying around the house that I will probably sell with free paper wallets when the wallets are available.
General stuff...
T-shirts - Get a couple of t-shirts made up on Cafe Press and sell them on ebay with all of the available information about C2 in the products description.
YouTube channel - Start a YouTube channel (this is free) and hold a contest where people make crazy ass C2 videos. The one who makes the craziest video wins the contest.
Down the road...
Coin2Corp - Either have 10% of the fees collected for C2 transaction or accept donations to a general Coin2Corp fund. The fund would eventually be used to start a real world corporation that has the sole purpose of doing good for humanity. The corp could even hire people and acquire land and buildings. The people to run this project might not be part of C2 as of yet but they might be a couple of years from now. The funds collected for the corp would be donated to it as start up money when the time is right.

OK folks. It's time to focus on other C2 progression instead of exchanges since C2 already has 4. We need some vol concentration instead of all over the place. Unless there is an exchange with high daily users with high trades vol. wants C2 in as an additional product, we will in. Otherwise should move on to marketing, exposure and public relation phase. I suppose many geeks in here can easily achieve the task thru online tweeter, FB, and any other social media. That would take some workload off Joel and let him doing what he think should be done before we burn him out. lol.

Um, being on as many exchanges as possible is probably the best way to further C2 progression at this point. What better exposure could there be than getting the coin in front of traders 24 hours a day who are active members of the crypto community? We should probably just do what everyone else does at this point and offer bounties for creating websites that offer simple games of chance involving C2. They could be dice, numbers guessing etc. The sites usually offer a referral program and people advertise your coin for you in order to get parts of pennies in crypto. You could spend many $$$$ on an Adsense advertising campaign and not get the same results of one C2 dice game website with a referral program. |

Ok guys, I am home from work and I want to give everyone an update. Last night, I was waiting for Bter to go live. At about 1:00am I decided it was time to go to bed. I woke at about 6:30am and checked Bter, then the forum, and then the pool. AHHHHHH! The server is setup to run a few cronjobs(linux term for automated task) every minute. I also have a few other tasks that I carry out once a day. At somepoint, a cronjob stopped working which shuts down the pool. This is a security feature that functioned better than I actually intended. Needless to say the pool went offline. I was unaware since I was sleeping. It took about 5 min for me to get it back up and running, but as most of you know, txs were stuck for a period of time. Without miners, txs will not confirm. Everything is working great now, but we need to avoid this from happening again. I would like two things: 1. For someone to start a backup pool using MPOS. 2. For everyone to understand how to solo mine, should this ever happen again. SOLO MINING TUTORIAL: 1.If you go to your wallet, you will see a tab labeled Help, click it! 2.Click Debug window 3.Click on console 4.Type setgenerate true 8 or setgenerate true 16 - this is for dual core computer - if you have quad, six, or eight you can even type 32 5. Type getmininginfo and you should see a number next to hashpersec, this is your hashrate. 6. Your are now mining the blockchain  Good information to have .. Two things .. #1 how do you stop mining without closing the client? #2 Could you please put that on page #1 of this thread? |

Ok, arguing about fair distribution of C2 at this point is pointless. No matter how many people participated in the initial giveaway, the number of people holding the coins has grown quite a bit and will continue to grow by the hour. Coin2 is now trading on 4 exchanges and there have been many giveaways done by several different people. The initial 1000 (or however many actual people) distribution is now a distant memory. Lets move forward from here... Don't walk the price down. This will rise once we have some publicity and merchants accepting the coin.

Those who was in the NXT-e.com chat panel every morning, remember Dinumo said? Patience and stay firm. You dictate your price and don't let the other side run you over. ( something like that in my own words ) Dinumo also projected people dump at below 0.000000x are dumb-ass, got it free and give away free. Any C2 price trade at 0.00000x is basically steal. Aso mentioned: 4 Categories in investment term: Buy, Buy and hold, Hold, and Sell. C2 is at 'Buy', Btc/Doge/Ltc are at 'Buy and Hold'...etc. Projected last week C2 will end above 0.000004 area ( fulfilled ) Projected Within this two week, C2 will above 0.0000075 or lot more higher above 0.000015 and could be lots earlier. ( seems happening ) Many other coins are from top slide to bottom while C2 is working from bottom slowly climb all the way up. ( Not so slow's slow ) C2 will reaches above 0.0025 by Mid Spring, Early summer the latest. Dude! in order for the price to get to 8000 there has to be a gradual step up to it. If there isn't a gradual step up to 8000 people could lose their ass as the price drops by 40% to 50% in an instant.. No gradual step up means no real bid support ... Rome wasn't built in a day.
Dont Forget few years back same thinking was with some people like you who are crying somewhere. I am talking about selling a couple hundred Coin2 that I bought on Bittrex for 300 each... I still have my primary stash that I am holding for greater riches .. Also just sold a few hundred on Bittrex for 1999 each .. |

I am maxed out on space in the appropriate box...It will have to stay for now....  You must wait untill Trade is unlocked. Till now Bter is just accepting deposit and deposit transaction is so fast, I just verified myself. Now C2 will be sky rocketing. I am proud to be a Coin2Coiner (Undead Coin2 Coiner)  Value is RocketingAfter when our coin will start trading in Bter our price will rise atleast 0.1 BTC/C2 Dont Forget back in 2009 BTC value was where today C2 is.Anywhere in the neighborhood of 0.001 BTC per Coin2 would be grand in my book...
