I would definately mine but i do not have the hardware to do so. Dont think my laptop could offer any help. Honestly its one of the reasons i started looking at c2 before the 'pos' craze. I felt i was at a disadvantage not being able to mine.

As far as the 3 btc from minty....by all means bittzy should get it....maybe bitz can even offer some to kalisto to buy a new computer. Some posts back kalisto posted he was working off an old computer....

1. Truly, COMMUNITY, I admire your conviction to this coin, but it is misguided because the surplus is misguided.
2. I'm done here. I've done my job. I've gotten the devs to admit to an effective 8% premine. If that doesn't bother you, nothing will.
3. Since burning the surplus is off the table, I'm not going to offer any help to this coin. I'll come back to taunt you when the next 40% increase to the money supply is implemented to fix problems created by the security hole. On the upside, some devs will make some money off the bagholders.

Any coin that began with an 8% premine would be dead in the water, so YES, it is affecting the trading price.

You can start by burning the 8 million.

A. That's a false choice because you don't know what the price would be after being delisted from mintpal.
B. I would choose the latter because to avoid a precedent of bailouts of central parties.

No mintpal would rather the users not get their value back. That's mintpal's responsibility. It's not the responsibility of the other users to reimburse those who have lost money at an exchange. And was that really 67% of the coins? Really? I call BS. Someone got a lot of C2 for nothing and it needs to be burned. This reeks like big banks and government bailouts on the backs of taxpayers, and bonuses for the robber barons who pulled the strings to make it happen.

I'll help if there is some plan in place to reduce the money supply closer to what it was. If that plan continues to meet resistance, I'm not going to help.

Actually that is a very valid question and i was in panic mode until bittzy brought up that kalisto had applied rat4's fix to the new source, and yes I would like to know also how we would have dealt with mintpal, since the attack would have left us with a negative amount of coins... TX42 explain this and I might not call you a dumbass..

I got tired to look at exchanges. Price now is very low, obviously. Hope that weak hand's mind will come back to their heads.

Waiting the next game beta testing stage, I would like to try it. Honestly I don't like gaming, but CoC will be exception.

I have been testing Mac OSX wallet for two last days. It works as intended to: synced without issues, two transactions did go through instantly, PoS is working fine. I got one orphan and one accepted reward. Wallet closes without error message as it is for some other wallets.
