I have an idea about how to increase the value of dvc. I suggest to create a content shop accepting dvc only. There anyone can list the articles for sale. This should increase the value of dvc. I can do such platform but I need a support in about 70-80 shares. I tried to contact the main admin but he's not responding So what do you guys think? My penny auction shop is similar idea but it would use shares and report all profits back to devcoin.. I think if we market it right we can create successful businesses leveraging the share system that compete for shares makingthem more precious at the same time bringing in profit buying back asks at market to increase value... Its better to accept btc ltc aswell so we can use thise to purchase dvc with the ones the shop brings in. devcoin is a goldmine in my eyes if we play this right it will open the doors to a new wave of investing and speculating. If there is a any type of giveaway associated with the opening of the penny auction site...these sites should have you covered. forums http://coinzen.org/index.php/board,45.0.html (future Devcoin home) Yeah, I have been busy with this subforumhttp://thisweekscoin.com/forum/index.php/board,19.0.htmlhttp://scforum.info/index.php/board,50.0.htmlhttp://altcoingiveaways.com/index.php/board,4.0.htmlReddit http://www.reddit.com/r/ThisWeeksCoin/ (new but should be popular very soon) Could pretty much guarantee exposure in a matter of minutes after launch ... or even pre-launch. If there is an an affiliate program....forgetaboutit! Bittzy78

What happens if you accidently send Devcoins to a Bitcoin address? I did this yesterday while attempting to transfer some Devcoins from wallet to Vircurex. The transaction was completed with over 130 confirmations.
There has been no change to my Vircurex account balances.
Are the coins gone for good?
Ask Vircurex to dump the privkey from their bitcoin address and have them transfer the devcoin balances to you. Thanks, will do that. Bittzy78

Hey! Is there a devcoin paper wallet generator? If im not wrong, its the same as bitcoin? In that case would I be able to use something like http://bitaddress.org? Would it be the bitcoin address be the correct address or would I have to run it through some different site to different address that starts with "D". Peercoin and namecoin are based off of bitcoin and use the same generation as bitcoin but they start with "P" or "N". Thanks. Devcoin addresses are the same as bitcoin addresses. A devcoin address starts with the same character as a bitcoin address, there is no change at all. You can import a bitcoin address into devcoin and vice versa. I noticed ho some people do devcoin giveaways and stuff on bitcointalk... Do you think we should devote a share from the bounty list to be used as a giveaway to increase awareness of devcoin and devtome? -AM
There are a whole lot of giveaways going on at our new forum via http://coinzen.org/ . - Nova Some of the mods have been discussing this amongst ourselves and have been meaning to bring up the possibility of devoting ongoing shares to facilitate an advertising budget (including giveaways) to drive traffic to the forum. This seems reasonable, since the forum will serve as an ongoing project to further interest in and awareness of Devcoin. Unthinkingbit and others, what do you think? I think its a good idea.. I see it as a better return in investment currently. I can assure you that this is a good return on investment. As the forum gets more popular it will simply be pennies on the dollar as compared to advertising on Adsense. You could spend $2.50 per click with Adsense and only have 1 in 25 show any interest in Devcoin/Devtome at all.. Bittzy78

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Investment Plan Bounty

I was wondering if I can claim one of the remaining Investment Plan Bounties for this plan I put together. ( http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_bounty_engine) My intention was to write up a business plan that can be invested in by using devcoins that would benefit the whole devcoin community. Just wondering if my interpretation of business plan fits the description required by this bounty... I wrote it last week, but just finally found some time to figure out how to properly post it on devtome. For a future article I might write up a noob's guide to Devtome in very simple English. Hey jdlrexy, How can one make money by investing? I'd suggest you add a section where "shareholders" of the Devcoin bounty fund could have weighted votes based on the stake, and the shareholders would get a portion of a bounty the contributed too, etc. That's all you need to do to get the six shares! Did you ever get the issue with your 10 million Devcoins being in limbo resolved? I was hoping that someone was going to be able to help you out.
