1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: September 01, 2021, 06:51:50 AM
Hello guys
Is this really a good project to invest in Solana?Any price prediction in future?
Mainnet is coming in Q3.
Please suggest me...
Thanks

Solana already mooned, don't buy the top. FTM, Celo, and NEAR are the next pump.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: September 01, 2021, 06:50:59 AM
Hi I am new to crypto and wonder what are some of the best technical indicators to use for trading?
Most traders lose money trading, especially new traders. I suggest you consider staking cryptos like NEAR, Celo, and Ethereum instead.

99 million $MAGIC fee for 1 week of Twitter promotion for NEAR DApps or token projects
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" beat Banks sometime in the future? on: August 31, 2021, 04:44:39 AM
Decentralized Finance ("De-Fi") is a new trend which has been gaining steam ever since the first smart contract platform (Ethereum) came into existence 6 years ago. Right now, it's possible to borrow, lend, and even trade crypto assets without the need for a middleman. The introduction of stablecoins brought us the stability of Fiat along with the convenience of crypto. People can have money in Fiat, without the need for a bank account and still earn interest by holding it. This brings complete financial freedom to the world (something that was never thought possible before the inception of Bitcoin and Ethereum).

Of course, not everything is reds and roses. "De-Fi" has its limitations since it's fairly new in the mainstream world. Blockchain is still unable to scale to millions or even billions of people worldwide, so the experience will not be the same as with Banks. Fortunately, scaling solutions are on the works with the hopes of putting an end to such issues. If all goes well, "De-Fi" might beat banks in the future. Everything will depend on mainstream adoption for this to succeed in the long run.

What do you think? Will "De-Fi" beat banks in the long term? Or is it still too early to tell? Do banks consider "De-Fi" as a threat to their existence? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
If anyone wants to use DeFi at scale it will need to be done on an L2 or sidechain like Aurora otherwise gas fees will make it unprofitable.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is not Legalized Despite the Many Benefits on: August 31, 2021, 04:43:57 AM
To my knowledge the first cryptocurrency was Bitcoin. Do you agree?
Since 2009 Bitcoin was launched by a person on behalf of Satoshi Nakamoto (aka) there have been very many positive things that have been obtained by people in the cryptocurrency space. Because Bitcoin has a limited stock, thus making the price of BTC expensive and then in anticipation of people being able to invest in crypto, Altcoins were born as an alternative.
Please give suggestions if my post is not correct.
No, there were cryptocurrencies before Bitcoin. There is a patent on decentralized currency by david schwartz dating back to 1988. XRP was created before Bitcoin.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am tired of IDOs on: August 31, 2021, 04:42:45 AM
Hello Guys! Today i am here for you clerify some subject about new generation of IDOs. I am in crypto since 2017 and as you remember generally ICOs then were FCFS method and they were less drama. Today i am eligible in lots of platforms for get involved IDOs such as ; Polkastarter, Polkafoundry Redkite, Daomaker, BSCpad, EThpad, Superlauncher, Raydium and last Avalauncher. But their lottery system is unfair and i cant get anyprojects. Todays crossswap ido was the last drop of patience for me. In ICO times if you had ETH you were okay but today i am in lots of platforms but it is really so hard to get in. Do you have any suggestion about those platforms or easier and better platform advice for me? Because i really need that. For ex; Maybe i should withdraw all my funds and focus only 1-2 platform as a gold member idk. Im open to your advices lets discuss under this thread.

Skyward finance is the only IDO platform that I use. It's completely decentralized so I don't have to worry about not receiving my funds.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's wrong with uniswap? on: August 31, 2021, 04:41:48 AM
recently uniswap reported about the fee on 27/8/2021 with a fantastic fee price, because many altcoins use uniswap swaps, What do you think?

I stopped using Ethereum due to gas fees and moved my funds to Fantom. I'm looking forward to using Aurora on NEAR when it's ready, it's the best scaling solution for Ethereum.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH chain split and its consequences on: August 31, 2021, 04:40:39 AM
You will probably get a better response asking in r/ethdev or on this developer k2sjjY7RYs
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trends for altcoins in September on: August 31, 2021, 04:38:09 AM
I think the market will have a few months for altcoins or in September

I am thinking of some trends
- NFT
- Top altcoins
- Polkadot ecosystem
- Solana

What altcoin trend do you think will be the best in September?

I tend to choose Polkadot.
I think Polkadot and Cardano are overhyped. Solana, NEAR, and Fantom will keep going up.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to manage losses? on: August 31, 2021, 04:37:25 AM
how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of your token is hitting down or NFT project is not ok?
in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?
Just wait, 90% of projects will moon during the bear run if they have any sort of community.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano KYC requirement or get locked out of your wallet? How is that possible? on: August 31, 2021, 04:36:15 AM
I just sold my Cardano for FTM and NEAR, goodbye
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do crypto projects get funding? on: August 31, 2021, 04:34:55 AM
ICO
The most well-known form of crypto is Initial Coin Offering (ICO). An ICO is a place where a project is created to raise funds by selling their own crypto asset tokens.

Basically, each token is a block chain that is similar to or equal to a share in a stock that is open to the general public - so you can make a comparison that an ICO is another variation of an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Crypto projects can also raise funds through a Security Token Offering (STO), Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) or Initial Dex Offering (IDO).

STO
STOs are slightly different from ICOs. Securities tokens represent investment contracts that are the subject matter of investment assets, such as stocks, bonds, funds, and real estate investment trusts (REITs). Securities tokens have many advantages because financial regulators regard them as securities. The high level of security makes it very popular among investors.

IEO
IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) is an alternative to ICO where project tokens are sold directly through a crypto asset exchange. Unlike ICOs, IEOs are not open to the general public and any user wishing to purchase the token must do so through an Exchange account.

IDOC
IDO (Initial Decentralized Offering) is very similar to IEO, but IDO is on a decentralized Exchange.

or is there another way?
skyward finance has a unique IDO system
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to move medical records to blockchain? on: August 31, 2021, 04:34:24 AM
What do you think about moving medical records to blockchain? I read an article about this recently, it would be interesting to read your opinion
It's already here with vaccine passports.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me the true value of NFT? on: August 30, 2021, 08:15:05 AM
Although I have been holding cryptocurrency for 5 years,

and everyone said that NFT is the next trend,

but I still don’t understand the value of NFT.

Can anyone tell me?

Why can a pixel image sell for 4200 ETH? Where is its value? What kind of people will buy it?

https://pixelverse.ai/
My friend invested in this NFT project in seed round, should I participate?
I know that you can find better deals on Mintbase on NEAR protocol than on opensea on Ethereum. A NFT rock on Mintbase goes for 50usd vs 3 million on opensea.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: August 29, 2021, 06:42:20 AM
Hi I am new to crypto and wonder what are some of the best technical indicators to use for trading?
I'm an investor now and look for projects that will provide a large return in a year or two down the road, like Celo and NEAR, so I don't actively trade, I stake instead, but I can tell you that I have had success in the past trading BTC based off of the price and movements of Grayscale Trust BTC. It indicates where the market will go before it does. That's the easiest way to beat the market.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the most bullish altcoin of the week? on: August 29, 2021, 06:40:00 AM
I have felt this week with lots of hope as the entire cryptocurrency market is on a bullish look and ethereum doing a 5% rise in the late hour of yesterday and at the moment selling for $3,254 which

Is still and good price with many expecting next next altcoin season. what are your recommended altcoins or defi token to invest in for quick profits at the moment.
NEAR protocol has been trying to break out, check the charts. It pumped from 2usd to over 6usd then Bitcoin dropped a few days ago and now it's back up to nearly 6usd again. Looks like a good coin to swing trade.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why such high fees in ETH? on: August 29, 2021, 06:38:17 AM
Most people are moving to sidechains like Polygon and Aurora right now, gas fees are too high for anyone but whales on Ethereum.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins on: August 29, 2021, 06:37:27 AM
Do you hold any dead coins?

'Dead Coins refer to cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned, used as scam, their website is down, has no nodes, has wallet issues, doesn't have social updates, has low volume or developers have walked away from the project.'

How should we manage dead coins?
I still have a few 0xBTC in my wallet, RIP
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What risks will you get in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic? on: August 27, 2021, 04:40:41 AM
Using digital currency in various virtual transactions has become commonplace Bitcoin is an example of a digital currency of popularity, Bitcoin is on the rise and is being talked about by people around the world, even now many people are trying to look at Bitcoin as a promising investment instrument, including during the pandemic but investing in Bitcoin when the corona outbreak occurs needs to be done with various considerations and maturity, the limited movement of people of course reduces income from many business sectors, both tourism, or food, so during this pandemic, people think a lot about investing and even carefully read market movements.

Then, is investing in cryptocurrency safe enough, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What is your opinion about whether or not there is a risk involved in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic?
People will no longer be able to leave their homes so they will move to virtual worlds like cryptovoxels https://www.cryptovoxels.com/spaces/c858170a-8672-4b9c-95ab-7dfe6ef7a2e6 Investing in projects and land doing what's called "metaverse" will probably have high returns. Even facebook is moving their platform to the metaverse and purchased oculus VR. Blockchains hosting VR worlds will need to be faster than Ethereum, Ethereum is too slow currently for mass adoption so VR worlds will likely be built on Solana, Polygon, and NEAR protocol.
