1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I understand the technical aspect of AMMs? on: August 20, 2021, 04:29:09 AM
Hi

So looking at AMMs, like Pancake Swap.
Where can I find out about the technical aspects.

Some thought come to mind are PCS currently relies on a third party wallet such as metamask, so how can a transaction be made without a wallet, for example if all you have is your private key.
Another question is, what happens to a transaction if it gets stuck, typically I wait for a few minutes for a transaction to confirm. Are there any safety measures like if the tx doesnt confirm after hours or days the tx can be cancelled?
Also when swapping can you guarantee you get the swap at the price when you swap, so if it takes a while for the tx to confirm the price could change, and you could receive less tokens than you thought you were swapping for.

So for aspects such as above where can I find out about the technical aspects of AMMs?
Ref Finance doesn't require metamask because it's on NEAR protocol, which means you only need to log into your webwallet on a website and you can access all DApps. No more metamask required. Using DeFi on NEAR is just like using a normal website, it's easy.
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana Pump on: August 19, 2021, 10:13:34 AM
A lot of people only invest in DApps or projects that they can use, not just a whitepaper and a website. NEAR is the easiest blockchain to use and build on and I'd say that will have an effect on the price going forward.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest Me some altcoins which could be 40x to 50x within next 4/5 years. on: August 19, 2021, 05:32:03 AM
There are so many top altcoins available in crypto market. Those are already hundreds time pump from their tokensale price. so there are less chance, those top coins could pump again 40x to 50x (although some are exceptional)

Please don't throw Ether, bnb, doge names blindly (some people always suggest btc eth bnb everywhere)

Now kindly suggest some altcoins those have potential enough to grow 40x to 50x within 4/5 years and Kindly explain your logic for supporting those.
NEAR protocol and Celo will easily 50x over the next few years. NEAR protocol is the new internet and it can scale to handle infinite transactions using sharding and has two second finality. It can also run Ethereum in a smart contract with Aurora. Celo is banking the unbanked using crypto and mobile phone lending apps.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Undervalued Coins on: August 19, 2021, 05:30:21 AM
I want to invest in altcoins, but on undervalued coins, what do you think if I buy XLM, Will it go hight when the market is bullish now? Can XLM rise to $2 by the end of this mont?
XLM is undervalued right now and so is NEAR protocol.
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of leverage to play contract will make money? on: August 18, 2021, 08:07:16 AM
Watch out buying projects that dump, the project could be dead and never recover. It's easier to make money in DeFi or staking. Instead of trading your cryptos, why not take loans against them? I know that soon you will be able to do this on NEAR protocol with OIN and stNEAR.
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: solana ecosystem coins give 100X on: August 18, 2021, 08:04:22 AM
I have invested Raydium, SOL,STEP Finance .

They have given me GOOD ROI. Try to invest in solana project. this is Solana bull run
I think NEAR protocol has more upside and Solana DApps can easily be forked on NEAR.
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria to launch its crypto currency after crypto ban on: August 18, 2021, 08:03:01 AM
On February 5, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released a circular addressed to banks and other financial institutions with the directive that transactions in cryptocurrencies and facilitating payment for cryptocurrency exchanges were prohibited.

A news was published on the popular country news paper were the CBN president ( Central bank of Nigeria)  was analyzing on their plan to launch new digital currency which he called the E-naira. Full news here : https://www.usnews.com/news/technology/articles/2021-07-27/nigeria-to-launch-digital-currency-e-naira-in-oct-central-bank
Since the ban of crypto on the country no exchange has ever been able to execute a fair transaction to citizens account, which makes most of the exchange popularly used by the citizens has made move to launch and active P2P trade to enable the citizens trade successfully.

My questions here is, the county launching it's digital currency does it means that they have accept and approve the use of cryptocurrency?

What's do you think about their decision, do you think it will have great impact on crypto?

It depends how countries launch their CBDCs, as blockchains or as tokens that can be used on multiple blockchains- USDC. If we can get E-aira on Ethereum, Polygon, and NEAR protocol we can use it for DeFi. Nigeria would be better off if more people used its currency so they need to play this smart.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 what to expect on: August 18, 2021, 08:00:28 AM
As developers keep improving the ethereum blockchain, even though previous ethereum hard forks failed to solve the problem of high fees in the ethereum blockchain.

But with the new London fork proposal 1559 which will offer a new fee system that burned all transactions fees instead of miners determining the fees, this will remove more ethereum from circulation causing demand to rise because of scarcity which will ultimately lead to an increase in price and fewer transactions on the ethereum network.

What are your expectations from this and how it will affect the overall ethereum ecosystem?
More people will continue to move to L2 and sidechains like polygon and NEAR Aurora.
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT games that doesn't need TX Fees on: August 18, 2021, 07:57:36 AM
Due to the superiority of the Near Protocol blockchain, they have a lot of similar games in development. Even if you have to pay a commission for any action, it will not exceed $ 0.01. If you want more information, you can PM me, I will provide you with all the documentation about the upcoming NFT games on this blockchain.
P.S they will come out in September
Yeah, I heard they are recruiting HTML5 devs for something, maybe an easy way to integrate blockchain with games.
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fantom blockchain on: August 18, 2021, 07:56:17 AM
Have you considered investing in Fantom based projects? I'm buying $MAGIC on Spookyswap. Are there any other Fantom users out there? If so, why did you choose Fantom over Polygon and BSC?

I'm interested in researching them, do you have their web or telegram for my reference? because honestly until now I haven't even used the fantom blockchain because there are too many smart contract projects currently growing in the market.

Sure, check out robo-vault and @ DeFiWizards on Telegram and Twitter for some good Fantom projects.

I have some tokens in the Fantom network, but they don't have a price right now.
I think BSC or Polygon are still better, because their marketing is better and more people are interested.
You could look at it that way or you could look at it another way, we are all early adopters and newer blockchains like Fantom and NEAR are undervalued and have a lot of room to grow compared to platforms like BSC and Polygon that already mooned.

Solana already mooned, NEAR protocol is more technologically advanced than Solana and hasn't pumped yet. It's on Binance and financially backed by Coinbase.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid using LATOKEN and Cointiger to buy any altcoins. on: August 17, 2021, 04:09:43 AM
I want to give advice to everyone that don't use LATOKEN and Cointiger. We know that both exchanges have fake volume

Cointiger is a centralized exchange where deposit time was 8 days as my experience. They don't even answer your question in their telegram group. 😢
LATOKEN is also a centralized exchange where deposit commission is 1 percent and withdraw fees are so high! I didn't see as much fake volume as Cointiger. Even a mobile app doesn't work.

Share your experience when I will add more in the future.
Everyone is tired of dealing with CEXs and KYC, use a DEX like sushiswap or ref finance.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the factors that make ICO's gain or loose value after ICO's? on: August 17, 2021, 04:08:22 AM
We have seen thousands of ICO's in the past three years but they have a big failure rate.
My question here is very fundamental:
Why do so many ICOs loose in value when they are listed and what are the lessons to learn from them to gain value overtime?
Is it because they just want to loot the money? Or are there some factors that leads them to unwanted or unplanned failure?
so far everything I have bought on skyward finance has gone up

Yes it is. I am doing a farm on spiritswap and Im sure this will be the best dex among the fantom blockchain. Their team is so hands on and even all partnership have been going to them. The team is not anon, and the devs are so active. There are plenty of line up or plan development awaits the spiritswap project so while it still low. Take this chance to grab some and when this go back to its ATH Im sure everyone will earn a lot. Im seeing the next pancakeswap on fantom chain. Especially fantom is moving slowly.
spooky is so popular now, spirit will need to do something new to gain adoption

For the middle distance, I chose the Near protocol for myself. An excellent project with a small capitalization and an ambitious team, capable of establishing an excellent ecosystem. It is also possible to transfer your Erc-20 tokens to the inside of the Near ecosystem, which allows you to save a huge amount of money on transaction fees of the Ethereum network. You can study the project yourself in more detail, but I think it has a good future, just like Matic or Solana
Yes, $MAGIC will be bridged to NEAR using the Rainbow Bridge.

1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can altcoins be divided into mainstream, non-mainstream, and junk coins? on: August 15, 2021, 04:46:09 AM

In this altcoin sector, I prefer to call them air coins, because sometimes they are invisible and intangible, and sometimes they disappear without you being able to track them.

I sorted them into categories: mainstream altcoins, non-mainstream altcoins, and junk coins.

What are altcoins? The following link is very detailed, you can refer to it for comparison.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/altcoin.asp

Mainstream altcoins have different functions, different founding teams, and have a strong trust endorsement, a strong technical team, giving us enough confidence, I can accept it, for example, Ethereum, Monero, Litecoin, etc. . Non-mainstream digital currencies also have a relatively strong trust endorsement, especially the founders who dare to innovate continuously on the basis of Bitcoin, especially in the field of DEFI and NFT, which are also acceptable by many people, such as UNI, SUSHI , FTM, CRV, etc. The rubbish coin is pure violent marketing. There is no well-known team, no economic model, and pure plagiarism. Some will not give you tokens, and some will just run away. The entire publicity process is simple and rude, with one purpose: please Add bitcoin to my wallet address.

Has everyone been deceived by altcoins again? Please report them and tell more people not to invest

You don't understand what you are talking about. There are many good projects, like NEAR and $MAGIC that don't have the publicity or marketcap of Cardano for example, but that doesn't mean it will always be that way or that other projects are technologically inferior because of the price. It's really third world thinking. Just because you paid 50k USD for a VW car, doesn't mean it's better than some less popular 25k USD cars if you objectively compare them. Cardano has effectively branded itself despite lacking any WEB3 functionality and having slow transactions. You should be investing in promising under the radar projects before they increase in value.

1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Cardano? on: August 15, 2021, 04:42:12 AM
Cardano has promised to deliver a lot over the last seven years, including smart contracts, but failed to deliver anything except promises. Why should we believe them now? NEAR protocol does what Cardano has promised to do but can't, and it does it now. In fact, Cardano at this point should deploy as an appchain on top of NEAR, then it will have 2k TPS and smart contracts.
