Exactly, I'm sorry to say, but I would have done the same if I was running mintpal. As an entrepreneur I can relate and what count's in business is to be stone cold when you want to make $$ I like how quickly everyone forgets about the 50K BC they donated for our coinkite application. BC is open source. Copycat coins are expected. We just have to work with what we have. this is what the free market is about. the ability to have competing currencies and no central currency issuer. that said.. blackcoin is the pioneer. other copycat coins can only be second to blackcoin at best. |

I love what your doing to blackcoin. Love it!! I have a suggestion to the blackcoin shield that will beneficial to both parties, the miners and holders. Instead of receiving donations for the shield. How about adding a 1% pool fee to be strictly for the shield and as the shield gets bought the purchased BC get givin back to the miners, the more they donate during the mining the more they reseive when the shield gets bought out.

any thoughts? problem.. pool is mining other alts and buying bc with btc. if we use a pool fee method then itd mean that the pool fee has to acquire btc from selling bc back to the market. a waste of money. unless the pool fee is calculated and taken in btc after selling alts mined and before buying bc to distribute to miners. the donations would work well i think. we have a strong community. buy walls should act as catch nets for each level up rather than being the top bidder. reinforcing the market as it moves up with investor confidence. cons: it would mean alot of btc just stored on exchanges for the purpose of buy walls only. in many cases not getting sold to unless we move them up the order list occasionally. |

Professional Analysis - Unexpected Good News
As I have stated before there are many things going on behind the scenes, and this morning I would like to share some promising news with the community. Just before the sell off I hired a professional analyst a friend recommended to take a look at BlackCoin and give me his professional assessment of the financial product. As an investor and businessman I need to be armed with facts and reasonable predictions moving forward into the weeks and months ahead. I am decent with numbers and reading charts, but I believe one should always enlist the help of professionals who are the best at what they do. As an analyst his job is to take emotion out of the equation and stick to the numbers and facts. This morning I received a report with unexpected news that made me immediately purchase more BlackCoins.
First an explanation on what happened within the past week.
1. Some assumed the sudden growth and the sudden sell off of BlackCoin was an orchestrated pump and dump, that was not the case. BlackCoin price explosion was the direct result of people taking notice with all the news coming out over a 5 day period. BlackCoin moving up in the charts quickly garnered the attention of investors looking to ride the wave of the next "hot" coin.
2. When we started trading above 80,000 sat there were many holders who had coins from 5000 sat and under, and for them suddenly having tens of thousands of dollars was to much to hold, so they started selling off. Do not forget there were people with over 100,000 coins and many of these people are students and/or come from poor countries. Also, many of these people are facing hard times and instantly having that much money was too much to hold onto.
3. The sell off caused a chain reaction and people in this forum and other forums thought it was an orchestrated pump and dump and started selling off quickly. The "panic" resulted in a massive sell off because of misinformation.
4. When the sell off subsided we established a floor around 14000 sat because that is where most of the new investors began investing in BlackCoin.
5. If the sell off did not happen we would be trading well above $0.60 cents or more.
What to expect next?
1. The wall set around 40000 sat is not one person, it is multiple people looking to exit. It is the level where investors who got in around 14000k want to exit, and investors who jumped on board around 40000k want to recover their losses. We will see resistance around 40000 sat for awhile until the damn breaks again.
2. We will not see another sell off that massive until we are close to $1.00 and that is when more people will be faced with lots of money and will have no choice to give in to temptation and sell.
3. Around $1.00 is where we will lose the remainder of the "weak" hands, and the "strong" hands will begin to take over and hold strong
So why did I buy more BlackCoins?
1. The sell off did not drive us below our starting point of 7100, and to be trading more than double than the starting point after a massive sell off is almost unheard of in stocks or any other financial product. And to recover in less than 48 hours is nothing less than unprecedented.
2. If the fundamentals remain the same without change, and we continue to grow at our current rate, we will be trading higher than $100 within 12 months. Past results do not predict future results. However, in BlackCoin's case proof of stake gives a constant we can use to make reasonable predictions. Unlike with Bitcoin we do not have to estimate how many coins will be mined and dumped onto the market.
a) We are adding approximately 700 - 1000 new people each week which will eventually spread the current supply thin.
b) With each sell off there will be more new holders added each holding less coins than the previous holders.
c) Supply will become significantly less as we get closer to $1.00 but demand will increase as well which will cause the price to explode.
3. BlackCoin will grow quicker in price than Bitcoin because there are no new coins being mined to dilute the value. The coins being generated from staking is not enough to dilute the value of the coin
I just explained everything in layman's terms so everyone can understand. This is not an attempt to pump the value, I wanted everyone to be armed with the info I have. I am more bullish on BlackCoin than I was before and I will continue holding until we are #1.

So basically Blackshield is paying to pump Blackcoin but instead paying to pumpers like Wolong, Fontas or Cryptypumps, we pay to someone from blackcoin team to pump it hopefully without the dump!!! Nice strategy but in order for that to work you need to sell Blackcoins in the first place to build btc buy walls and to do that you are always to put at risk and burn some of the Blackcoins stakeholders investment! In fact Blackshield is the opposite of what the Multipool is doing which is from the profitability of other coins you buy BC with the BTC profits to pay to miners but that creates some buy pressure! In this case we would be donating you shares to sell our BC for you to put some BTC buy walls! Can someone explain in detail how this will benefit us? blackshield will ensure that even players like those you mentioned dont want to play around too much with this coin since theyll eventually end up having to pay a higher price for them. blackshield will reduce manipulation by filling the order books with demand from investors you are absolutely sure have no intention of putting their coins on the market any time soon. they are at risk of pumping and experiencing no dump to reclaim more coins at the low with their profits. in fact their demand will create more demand and that will attract more demand. calling it now.. 1 blackcoin = 20btc LOL |

I will be supporting Black Shield  Well I think this is not such as good idea as it sounds, it can be manipulated, since it is public it can be tricked, lets say the whale buys a bunch and then waits, the wall has to be moved up, and then the whale buys a lot more and keeps increasing the price while the wall gets moved up, then dump in the wall and make profit. i see nothing wrong with this except a smart whale. every dump at a higher price helps to set the floor at that level. and that is what we want. but the whale is stealing profit from the miners, if you don't mine of course you want this  , how is it stealing? he bought it with money. lol there is only one strategy to defeat whales. and that is simply dont put ur coins on the market. dont even place them on an exchange.and accumulate accumulate until u are that whale. until then, the whales will play. unless we take away their toys. and yes, i mine bc, but it doesnt bother me. |

sales completely stopped at 14ksatoshi, forcing buyers to pump the price into the 20s yesterday. as demand grew they found out that the threshold for demand is in the 35k-40ksatoshi region. price can fluctuate between this region for a few days as we squeeze out some doubtful early investors and those who bought over 40k looking for an opportunity to panic sell and recover most of their losses. i predict a new floor of 20k as below that few would want to sell. if u want to buy now ull have to get it between 30k-40k. lower if ur really lucky and catch a dump. current ceiling is 40k.

Come on you guys. Who cares if the chip doesn't work. Without the chip it just looks like a Business card. The chip adds massive character. When I placed my order for a bunch of cards a few days ago I was under the impression they came with the chips like advertised, I will be extremely disappointed if there are no chips.
then make the chip work! +1 although chipped cards are more expensive, why not offer both? both sounds good to me. one coin to rule them all. one card to rule them all too ;p |

We are finalizing the BlackCoin card design. Do you like the version with the simulated chip or the version without the chip? Please note the final version of the card will have rounded corners. The template is setup to be rectangle for the manufacture. I am only accepting votes on keeping or losing the chip ! i like the chip. if ur going chip ill place my order now. would work nice later with point of sale terminals Chip is only for show. You are confusing it with the debit cards we'll have from coinkite. To prevent confusion with credit/debit cards later, I vote for no simulated chip version. same, if the chip isnt going to work then there's no need for it. cant they combine the wallet with the debitcard? so it's one card? im sure it can be done. |

with the chip, its a non-existant feature embellished on the card which could give the effect of ''gimmicky''. It does look cool, I admit.
without the chip, it gives the appearance of BC being its own thing, in its own entirety. Also K.I.S.S. comes into play.

Guys!! I just realized something very important about dumping this coin!!! Please listen.
PLEASE READ MINERS:
At the current hash rates the mining pool generates 35-60 BTC a day. At the current price that buys roughly 200,000 coins a DAY.
So with a LIMITED SUPPLY of 74 Million coins at the current price the pool will BUY THE ENTIRE MARKET in one year.
I want everyone to repost this so that it really sinks in.
Dumpers or not, if the miners HOLD they will push this coin much higher than it was last week. Even in 3 months, they will have bought 25% of the entire supply. By that time im very certain that the price will give way to the pressure.
I didnt realize this, but this makes much sense, im moving to the bcmultipool right now, only 4mh/s but if theres 100 like me reading that message of you and realizing the same as me theyll also point their Miners to the bcmultipool right away! We should really tell everybody about this fact this is great i dont know why you didnt see this. it's a very simple calculation. it's constant guaranteed daily investment. no matter how long it takes.. if we keep acquiring and hold, the price has no choice, but to go up. no choice! and up, and up and up and up. |
