361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICG][X11] IncogCoin NO PREMINE | HIGH POS | WHITEPAPER IN 24 HOURS on: July 22, 2014, 01:28:17 PM

The second community takeover of same coin in 72 hours? That's gotta be a record right?

well considering im not sure what transpired here completely i really wouldnt know? has it been confirmed the dev buggered off? or is it that he hasnt responded to the community over the past 24hrs? he would need a good conk on the head for halting the blockchain without notifying the community either way.

The original dev was a scammer and left. M3 took over but he wasnt a dev, he hired some devs and they ended up leaving because the price never reached 2k sats which was the contingency plan set by M3 (yea dont ask, makes no sense), and as a result crashed the price. Then GTX-DOX chimed in and said he knows some highly qualifed devs that would be willing to takeover, and to give him 30 minutes to get in contact with them. its been almost 3 hours without a peep.

getting in contact with a dev can take longer than expected. discussions etc. but what u said there doesnt add up to me at all. m3 is the original poster on this thread. was there a previous thread? what im seeing seems to be characteristic of an attempt to transfer from an independent master and slave nodes system to the decentralized one. which doesnt seem to be working, possibly pending a wallet update at the exchanges. the coin was also recently added to bittrex(less than 24hrs). so something seems to be going on in the background.

Well it looks like BitTrex is holding my coins now on "pending". Been a while now.

At this point it isn't worth to sell now. Just gotta hope something happens positive.

I am a very small bag holder.

maybe you're just over-reacting. perhaps the dev is doing a blockchain update for the decentralized slave nodes system and so there is a halt on the blockchain atm. we'll give him 24-48hrs to respond. if we dont hear anything or the blockchain doesnt go live once more we can move forward with an official community takeover. i will help.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICG][X11] IncogCoin NO PREMINE | HIGH POS | WHITEPAPER IN 24 HOURS on: July 22, 2014, 12:36:16 PM
let's give the dev some time to respond unless it is absolutely confirmed that he has left the project? we can also uphold the decentralized slave nodes idea. with an added incentive via my design.

365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICG][X11] IncogCoin NO PREMINE | HIGH POS | WHITEPAPER IN 24 HOURS on: July 22, 2014, 12:25:48 PM
if you have a dev on standby then i will donate some btc to get this funded.

not a problem. i think it has a good name that appeals to the supporters of anon transaction technology. and what better way to enhance that than giving it it's own unique anontx system? i'll even help with further developments, multipool etc and we'll have to work towards getting the coin on some other exchanges. but from what i can tell... it all got sold out between 300-900 satoshi.

so what happened exactly? the dev sold all his coin and left us with this coin? one of the above posters is right though. a coin doesnt need a dev holding it's hand once it functions as expected. we can get a new wallet etc. but it's going to be down to the marketing plan.

edit: coin's totally not dead though. i just noticed it got added on bittrex. for now if the dev has indeed dumped and buggered off. id advise that all send your coins to the exchanges for storage in case we have to do a handover for a new coin using this source. the exchanges can help with transferring the old coins to the new wallet... if necessary. just a safety measure. i think we can take this significantly over 2000 satoshi.

ok havent read the whole thread yet. but maybe someone can update me what's up? did we lose the dev or something? because that really isnt a problem. ive got one on standby.

let me know. easiest community takeover yet. i may even supply this coin with my own anon solution. but considering i only got a couple hundred while speculating the coin for trading and price rise, i'd accept some donations for my idea in ICG. i estimate 1-2btc to pay the dev to implement anon. but dont hold me to that. we'd have to get an official quote.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Web Dev Position Available]Superior Coin Design: Most fair Distribution model on: July 20, 2014, 09:54:58 AM
How many coins you want distribute to the initial investor?
Could you give us a exact percent?

initial investor positions are currently closed, but may be re-opened at any time. distribution to intial investors will be agreed upon with initial investors through private meeting before the coding even begins. i already have suggestions which are aimed at creating fairness and justified reward for all parties involved and expect that investors will have no problem with my suggested arrangement.

Best Regards,
Coinler

P.S - more info will be provided as it coincides with the preparation milestones of the project plan.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Backup Investor Positions]Superior Coin Design: Most fair Distribution model on: July 20, 2014, 09:48:53 AM
Negotiations and discussions with our dev went very well today. Initial investors will soon be receiving a document for review before the coding process begins. our project will now have a dedicated development team of talented individuals over the long term who have clearly understood and agreed to meet the requirements of our new currency. a spec sheet and final quote is currently being prepared by our dev and we will be in a position to begin once final agreements have been made.

in addition, id like to take this opportunity to announce that one of our investors has agreed to provide us with a hosting package which will host our official website and forum and i will now be seeking web developer(s). Web Devs are asked to please pm me with their interest in providing their skill towards this project in that arena so that we may discuss your compensation and involvement.

The OP and all investors will be further updated shortly.

Best Regards,
Coinler

Waiting for you. Grin

and i am waiting for dev document before i can make any other moves Cheesy. i think we can all be ambitious with timelines for project management and miletsones. which is why i dont provide exact time frames just yet. i had a feeling the dev would require more time than he initially offered to get ready. not a problem for me as i have had an increasingly demanding schedule on my end as well. havent even had time for trading on the markets this past week or so. but once our initial product is developed i will be in a better position to provide timelines which we will aim to adhere strictly to as part of our marketing plan for further development. i will contact the dev today for an update on his progress.

369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution. E-SPORTS BETTING TEST WENT LIVE! on: July 20, 2014, 09:36:13 AM
at this point i will only suggest that minerals, if they are interested in protecting their investors, raising the value of their currency, and preventing their community from falling into disgruntled chaos, or all of the above. offer real world prizes for the most dedicated users of the multipool. game keys, usb miners, gameconsoles/laptops if possible etc. if they like i can work with them to help make the multipool reward efficiency more profitable for multipool users. if interested pm me and we can work out a strategy.

370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RVC] / RevoCoin / POS - POW / 10,000kh miner limit / launch delayed on: July 19, 2014, 10:36:27 AM
Are we getting closer to a launch? ok, was just checking back in  Cheesy

Yes we are getting closer but not ready yet for a hassle-free launch. I am really sorry for the delay.

Could you provide a timeframe? More like some hours or days?

I wish i could right now. The only thing i know is that OC and his team are working very hard on the limitation issues and a more or less ideal solution will be ready soon. I'll keep you posted.
You should increase the limit to a rig of 6*290x. which is 30m per username.

lol if he really wants this coin high priced then he'd limit it to 1mh. as mentioned, users can mine other coins with the extra hash in their system. they dont have to target all of their power to one coin.

dev. - regarding the pool. how are we doing with this? i see supernova seems to have taken a turn for the better with regard to recent support for the small miner. i still havent been able to get in touch with an old friend for his pool service, mainly because it has been a busy and well energy consuming past couple days for me in other areas. but i should have some time today to focus more on obtaining another service that is willing to help.

positions for backup investors are still available and will continue to be until the coin is fully developed. those interested are reminded that they will be called upon based on their position in the queue should additional funding be required for the complete product before launch.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Backup Investor Positions]Superior Coin Design: Most fair Distribution model on: July 17, 2014, 01:06:48 AM
I'll backup pledge .4 BTC assuming IPO premine is at least 3%.

welcome aboard, i'll add your pledge to the list. if you are called upon to join the initial investor group to fund further developments before the launch, you will have a chance to view details regarding the coin's design and operation as well as to decide if you agree with the compensation provided through the premine allocation.

I'll post further updates tomorrow as i will be entering in meeting with the Dev first thing in the morning. Initial investors will later on be provided with the details of the coin's design for the first phase of development, where our aim is to have a fully functional cryptocurrency. a marketing plan is already created for the coin in it's totality as well as the means to fund an aggressive marketing strategy over the course of 24 months. at which time based on our roadmap we should have achieved a significant market share towards worldwide adoption, as well as a successful unpegging to BItcoin as our source and determination of value. 2 of our investors are still yet to respond to my last pm and i hope that they will respond soon. we are ready to begin.

378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TTY] Trinity | SHA + Scrypt + Groestl | PoW Now Mining! on: July 15, 2014, 10:04:19 PM
i understand vardiff. im just wondering if it's set like this by the individual pool configuration. u saying even if i get 1 share a minute ill still get the same payout even though my worker seems to drop off the pool?

Number of shares alone doesn't matter. If you're submitting 10 shares a minute with an average diff of 10, or 1 share a minute with an average diff of 100, you'll get the same payout either way.

ok that makes sense i guess depending on the block reward system. seems better now tho. already have 2 coins with the equivalent of 1mh scrypt.

using sgminer.exe --algorithm myriadcoin-groestl -o stratum+tcp://tty.minep.it:3339 user pass

and the thing wont run. cant i just use -k groestlcoin?

It should be -u user -p pass.

yes all that is fine i just shortened the end. it runs with -k groestlcoin but all shares are rejected. so that means if i just change the algo statement i should be mining not so?

read:

https://trinity.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

rofl -k instead of --algorithm

why is there advice to use --algorithm in the first place? such misleading

you probably read the wrong instructions..

i always wonder why i'm writing those instructions when nobody reads them..

i used the instructions on the OP of this thread. thanks tho.

mostly pool's instructions are correct.. i'm mining on my pools my self, so these are mostly my settings

i notice that after a few minutes my local difficulty gets so high that i can get like 1 accepted share every 30 seconds or worse. difficulty rises to 1200+. is this a pool setting or how the blockchain operates? if i stop and start over i can get accepted shares more regularly again. until the diff gets too high again.
