Guys!! I just realized something very important about dumping this coin!!! Please listen.

PLEASE READ MINERS:
At the current hash rates the mining pool generates 35-60 BTC a day. At the current price that buys roughly 200,000 coins a DAY.

So with a LIMITED SUPPLY of 74 Million coins at the current price the pool will BUY THE ENTIRE MARKET in one year.

I want everyone to repost this so that it really sinks in.

Dumpers or not, if the miners HOLD they will push this coin much higher than it was last week. Even in 3 months, they will have bought 25% of the entire supply. By that time im very certain that the price will give way to the pressure.

HOLD this coin!

Sorry for the bold I just really want to let it sink in proof of stake is far superior to proof of work! This coin can prove it!

the community isnt worried. at least im not. the sharks and whales dont bother me. they can only sell so many coins before they become an amoeba.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 16, 2014, 02:45:13 PM
whomever is talking about bitpay adding BC is long ways off, im sorry... bitpay is staunch on Bitcoin and only Bitcoin. we still need a long, long long way to go before bitpay adds us or any altcoin for that matter.

yeah probably right. but a long long way is a relative term. it could be years, or it could be months. we've all been wrong before with blackcoin. noone was expecting it to go from 30k to 86k in 24hrs. we all thought it would sit at 30k for a few days. merchant acceptance depends entirely i believe on coin value. if blackcoin hit's the $1 mark within the next 3 months im pretty sure it will gain alot more investor attention. people arent going to sit idly by while they see the value pumped over and over.

if you bought high, this isnt the coin to think of as bagholding. u are now an investor. the more of us that hold coins at a higher value ensure the coin will eventually reach that value. this simple formula will make blackcoin successful for all early investors. "dont sell." its the reason why we could go from 1000satoshi to 86k. mine and buy blackcoin every day. and this coin will soar like clockwork.

ppl say that btc is going to rise and expected to soar. if btc keeps rising and blackcoin value keeps rising through the year due to our continued efforts.. guess what that means for all the "bagholders"
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 16, 2014, 02:27:27 PM

I know what you mean mate but don't you get it? There are 100 more whales in blackcoin that can and will do the same thing. This was meant to be fair distribution and now we see the ugly side of even a 1-2% bagholder just sitting there dumping in small amounts so they can exit. When one whale is finished, the price will rise abit and then get pushed down at the next whale's exit point. If there are 20 whales each taking ~3 days to dump then we're looking at at least 3 months of dumping. Volume won't hold that long investors will get bored.

Prove me wrong though, happy to jump back in if the trend looks good.

it's too easy with blackcoin i think. the prospects can drive the price up in a heartbeat. for instance.. bitpay acceptance. and other media releases to spark continued interest in use of the coin. once it becomes useful in commerce it's achieved the goal of any cryptocoin. this should be top priority for the coin's longterm success. it will be even more successful than bitcoin because of lower supply, higher security and faster transaction times with a lower fee. not to mention the eco-friendly method of mining.  the writing's on the walls with this one. definitely still a keeper. there is no stronger coin.

1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 16, 2014, 02:12:06 PM
See those round sell numbers? That's a whale trying to exit the market with 1million + coins.

This will take days. And let's hope there's only one.

Price stabilising around 20k for a few days will make me bullish if we still have a good mining pool and trading volume. Stay tuned.

I think we're dealing with 2-3 whales on mint and 3+ on Crapsy

I'm expecting the price to settle around 9000-11000 satoshi

Once bids build back up ill bet the whale will dump.  Until then he will keep manipulating the current price

let the whale sell. it's healthy for the coin. responsible whale make spread distribution by selling to many small orders. we want as much of the coins bought off the market as possible. then there's less resistance going up. as it is.. if u look at the sellbooks.. there isnt really any resistance to take it back to 60ksatoshi. we can chalk it up to a short period of doubtful investor confidence and that whale. if everyone is patient, the rebound should be quick once we're done with the whale(s). $125million is chump change amongst the crypt-community.. blackcoin can make do double that market cap by the multipool alone given enough time. but i think if we really want to work together as a community, our duty would be to buy/mine and hold coins off the market in our wallet constantly. that way eventually any whale manipulating the market would lose all his coins as we constantly buy it up to the highs to 1btc=1bc even if at that point we're only selling fractions.

it can be done. it just takes commitment from the community. the larger the community, the faster this goal can be accomplished. very important to remember that quick turnarounds are what slowdown the growth of the coin. which is why i advise uptrading margins by large gaps and not small ones.

all it will take is time and growing community. blackcoin is the best investment opportunity in crypto atm. better than btc itself.

Welcome to Blackcoin, would you like to lose all of your money now or later?

that's up to the skill of the trader and whether he views this coin as a longterm investment or just looking for a quick turnaround. success and failure depends on him/her and to a certain extent, his level of greed.

all that is required for blackcoin's success is for the community to grow and buy a little bit of blackcoin. these current prices should be ignored. and viewed like nothing, whether 7 cents or 20 cents. all is cheap. coin supply is very limited. u too should make sure u stash at least a couple thousand for the longterm. bring more people to blackcoin and we will all be successful.

about $125mill buys all the blackcoin. once we reach that market cap it will be safe to say most of the blackcoin is in circulation. but by that time the value will be over 100ksatoshi. we are still early. we are all still the very early investors.

This is a perfect example why pump and dumps are illegal in the real world. Its the equivalent of robbing someone of their money. Right now there are tons of people who lost thousands of dollars on this shitcoin to manipulation and lies.

+1000

Why? Where were the lies? Proof of manipulation?
Look back a few pages, that cunt agrees with every other troll.
Yet none of his fellow cunt army brothers have been able to back up their claims.

ok. Blackcoin is a great coin. it's the coin everyone's been waiting for. the success of multipool idea and the devoted dev team has proven in my view that this coin has a future, and that those of us who hold at least a couple thousand, could be millionaires some day. everything has been great with blackcoin, top notch actually, except, the behaviour of some members of the community.

remember that blackcoin community has a very important role to play in the success of blackcoin. and if you want this coin to put off the image it deserves. to do that we need to produce that image as a community. that's just one. when here you have no idea who you are speaking to. you could be speaking to a large investor trying to test the community to see if it's one he/she'd like to join. we want this community to grow. we want use of the multipool to grow.

let's keep it classy. professional. we can take the upper hand on trolls by entertaining them seriously and respectfully. let us be more customer service oriented from today!

this is the strangest sellbook i have seen on a coin with 100million coins. there are no sell orders. something's up.

Calm before another storm but i'm not trading into this.

bitpay acceptance would just do it for me. we get in on bitpay and im selling every alt i got to buy BC. every single one. im serious.

I have a theory on the multipool and I hope I am wrong.

If there is an organized community behind the pump I am almost certain they would have rented mining equipment to boost the multipool for added psychological effect.

Keep your eyes on the multipool to see if there are any large fluctuation in hashing rate. I saw a couple or large jumps when the pump was going that made me
very suspicious.

Maybe my imagination is just running wild, but keep watching the multipool.

that would make sense for other coins but not for blackcoin multipool. more hash is actually more investment. the multipool just provides a mining interface.. but what ur actually doing is buying coins with btc after buying btc with electricity. it's cheaper, but takes much longer than having investment capital ready. so it's steady investment. this coin is still young. give it time to get to 1 petahash sha and 50gh scrypt ;p
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 15, 2014, 03:18:48 PM
big buy walls act as confidence for investors to keep investing higher. same as large sell walls scare some investors into dumping. if we want this coin to do well, as a community we need to do what's best for the coin to flourish. it's possible to buy support the value of a coin all the way up to the point u want without buying a single coin. also counts as investment.

keep your composure. stand your ground. 20btc sell wall is nothing to Blackcoin. nibble away at it instead of panic selling ur coins. when you make nice profits, send some coins to your wallet and keep them away from the market.. cant say this enough.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 15, 2014, 02:35:14 PM
Guys, I asked one question a few days ago and no answer so far.

What happens to the price of BC when Bitcoin starts to go up?

I believe now everyone knows.

The multipool is currently too small to maintain any sort of real buying to affect price much.

All these fluctuation are due to organized groups with big pockets.

The entire BC pump happened when BTC was tanking, you don't find this timing a little bit odd?Huh?

I like BC, but like I said before, these price rises are pure BS!!!!

it's called protecting your investment. not just looking for a quick pnd for btc. if any coin has what it takes to completely replace btc it is this coin. as a community thats what we should be doing. placing buys to protect the price from falling.. not just looking for the cheapest price. but if ur pockets are small then margin trading to multiply your coins and removing coins from the market to store in your wallet are the best ways to help this coin as quickly as possible. as it is.. those deep pockets buying everything will gain the most by not putting those coins back on the market for trade.

bc will go up. it's the first real investment coin in all of crypto. it's like a real stock item. every one of us here today are early investors. the whales will be able to live just off the interest the rest of their lives if they hold it long enough for it to rise.. which im pretty sure they will.

1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 15, 2014, 12:22:44 PM
i think we have a bit of poor margin traders downtrading the coins as well. taking very small profits. not helping. margin trades need to be in wide gaps if ur trying to push the coin up. i think we definitely have more BC on the market now. some new to the market coins. cant blame them for taking the cash.. the multipool will do the rest of the work for us together with investors keeping steady buy pressure over days and weeks. just stick to the multipool and dont take the mined coins back to the market till theyve increased in value by a significant gap. this uptrading will ensure that less coins will be on the market at lower levels. there we will gather new investors who wanted to get in before we can take it higher again.

how low will it go? it depends again on how much btc we've got and how much new coins are coming to the market over next day or two.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 15, 2014, 07:55:25 AM
yes you can see it's noobs who dont really know anything about blackcoin or trading that's dumping. they just want to sell.

too bad for them.. they couldve just sold 1-5btc per day at the rising rate. now we've got to have enough btc to receive it all. great time. i sold higher and will catch more up at the bottom.

I have 3200 BC  that is it so no big deal for me...  but I still want to help this coin reach its maximum potential.

I have been watching this coin for only 5 days and it sure as hell has been very, very exciting.  But I am one of those people that don't trust anybody and will plaster here my paranoia for all to scrutinize.

1. The stakes on this Coin are HUGE..  anything is possible...  I would strongly suggest that if you are a strong believer of this coin you take ALL OF YOUR COINS out of the market so no one can play with them,  or borrow them, or steal them to manipulate the market.  In Wall Street this is called shorting a stock and is used by big players to manipulate the market.  The market manipulation can destroy the confidence and also crush a stock or in this case a coin.

2. This kind of manipulation can come from someone with lots of funds who also believes in the coin and is willing to take it to extremes.  For example this coin could be dumped back down to 5 satoshi and kept there until he accumulates all of the weak holders coins.  When the capitulation volume is reached then he brings the price back up and will be much richer WHALE!  Now if you combine this with such factors as tiny market and an exchange not able to function with such huge volumes... you are looking at some very dangerous situations.

I hope that I am wrong about this but since crypto is not regulated like a real stock market...  I think anything is possible and the risk is too high.

3. This kind of manipulation could also come from the opposite angle.  Assuming again someone with big funds wants to kill this coin so that HIS coin can be the one that shines above all.  Imagine the same scenario of SHORTING this tiny baby and selling the coin until panic and all psychological damage destroys the confidence while his coin rises above all.

Again I hope I am wrong but crypto is not regulated and anything can happen.  Today volume and price manipulation reminded me of wall street shorting actions.

MY SUGGESTION:  If you are a strong believer of this coin please remove your coins from the market and put them safely away so no one can touch them until this has matured!

First, you can't short cryptos directly and second, no single "whale" has enough BC to dump to take it down to 5 sat.

How do you know that you cant short cryptos?  Who guarantees that fair game is being played?  YOU?

I said directly. Read better.

I read correctly but who are you assure people that cryptos can not be shorted?

you can short BTC at plus500 and bitfinex

you can also go short on any trade by going long on the opposite side of the currency pair

 Cheesy

not really.. if a whale is squeezing out weak hands then we know one things for certain.. he intends to take the price up to extremes at some point.

havent had time to catch up on the thread.. just woke up.. but if anyone hasnt said it.. im pretty sure the press release is the reason for this volatility. all the people who mined blackcoin when it was minable, who dont pay attention to this thread etc, seeeing blackcoin in the news and realizing they can cash out thousands of dollars are dumping.
so..

catch!
Throwing some quick numbers we have traded 14.8 million coins today that is something like 20% of the total 74 million...  That seems way more than I would expect to be as liquid coins at the market.  I think shorting this coin is very possible given these numbers no?

it's not necessarily 15million.. it could be only 5 million trading back and forth if u get my drift. but significant trading nonetheless. on the run up to this point though we may have already absorbed about 50million coins which are being held by investors who bought up along the way. if there was any shorting im sure it was planned beforehand and that's what assisted the buy up to 50ksatoshi. from here on in it's about early investors spreading across the market to new investors before we can take it to 100k. if we have more violent swings like today over the week, then there'll be less resistance at the 100ksatoshi mark and we could blow past it.. just my 2 cents.

but dont hold me to anything ive said, it's just an educated guess as u know how predicting markets can be.. i believe at least though.. we have rid the coin of any psychological attachments to 50k satoshi. ppl want to sell and are willing to buy past the 55k mark. an indication that the market sees these coins as currently undervalued. tomorrow or the day after for 100k satoshi depending on john miner's response to hearing the current price of blackcoin.

a bit bummed atm, missed the dip and opportunity to multiply coins and recover what was lost due to mintpal delays. but ill wing it i guess. "i went black.." lol
