Just spent 5 minutes stepping through some of block on the block explorer
http://115.29.51.156:7703/chain

From the hundred or so blocks I looked at and then the accounts, definitely me people holding onto their mining or buying up than people selling off.

There are obviously a number of people out there that like this coin, so lets see if we can get it turned around

there is literally 0 buy interest. i have no idea how we will turn that around. everyone i advised oto buy cash got burned. im not interested.. kill it
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] Crypto CASH a unique Crypto currency! **1.1 Client is mandatory** on: March 11, 2014, 03:44:11 PM
well ive pulled the cash i bought from cryptsy.. no sense leaving it there atm. the orders are thru.. i think cash is dead guys. it really will hit 1 satoshi it seems. i honestly dont think at this point that its worth even trying to revive. it's done worse than ctm. i imagine it will be pulled from the exchange soon. let's face it, this coin has failed pretty hard. optimism isnt going to help us here. its like noone even wants it.

the dev not even having the courtesy to comment in so long really suggest he scammed us all. we should abandon this coin completely. let us place our efforts into developing a new coin, with a better name and structure. we can take the good ideas that were presented in cash and capitalize on them. pos is definitely the way to go. im not buying any more cash. its dead, done, finito.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 10, 2014, 08:07:00 PM
i still have noble coins at the exchange, any chance i can get them withdrawn?
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] Crypto CASH a unique Crypto currency! **1.1 Client is mandatory** on: March 10, 2014, 03:32:10 AM
buy support for cash was low from the very start. we all gambled that investors would eventually see the potential with this coin and jump on it. as it stands now, i think cash may have too high a stake. as well the block rewards must halve or reduce block reward by some percentage more regularly. other than that it's perfect.

im still holding my cash and mining some here and there as its obvious that cash will definitely take a while to pick up. a longer while than we were all hoping for. it requires alot of investment so for one i think maybe our community is too small. lastly, someone did mine a tonne of cash from the start.. at least 1million maybe more. whether that was the dev or not we may never know. but id be up for a slightly modified version of cashcoin.

if we think that the dev has too much cashcoin and is dumping on us then that would mean we'd have to abandon this coin altogether. but we can also look at cashcoin as longterm based on the block halving rate. if cash doesnt fall off the exchange.. give it 4 years or so and im willing to bet it will be at the 1 dollar mark steady. maybe better. it's a big gamble. but im not dumping or selling. the low diff and investor interest means we can all pick some up here and there during the course of the year and build up our stash. but i would support endeavours to make a coin we think would be an improvement upon cash and why it has failed to gather interest as of yet must have to do with the very long block halving periods.

i suppose in the end, it seems cash did fail to achieve one of its primary goals.. to prevent dumping but still.. by the numbers im seeing on the exchanges.. it would seem alot of cash is being withheld from the markets still so im not too sure we have a dump problem so ill stick to the fact being low investor interest.. and that must be because cash is not rare enough yet. it will need time. so we'll just have to pace our investment.

either way, any new developments we'd like to undertake for a different version of cashcoin would have my support. hopefully we will get a response from the dev at some point and see if he is willing to help us with another project. cash is indeed an innovative coin that works so maybe he feels like he doesnt need to be around since everything regarding cash technologies is working. hopefully he is also working in the background to grab investors. but i guess if everything is working.. then the dev really has no need to be on the forum every day.

sorry for wall of text. just typing my thoughts on the subject.

p.s. - one question.. if an investor did come around tomorrow and pump cash to .001btc would you say you had enough? we have all this time now to stash cash as long as its cheap and diff is low. use the time to get closer to having 1mill cashcoin ;p but we'll just have to adjust our thinking to a longterm investment. 2-5 years or more. what choice do we have if ur like me and refuse to sell cash for 2 cents each lol

Good post Coinler, I totally agree.

Hopefully, HOPEFULLY boss at work will be more interested in accepting 'Crypto' soon, demo'd CASH to him today (first Crypto demo he's seen).
I'll be trying to convince to go bitcoin and CASH, but not using weird services, just straight up, open wallet, create new receiving address, send address to customer, receive funds, job done.
Will have to set up a wee web page to track the exchange price of CASH to GBP, but that should be easy enough.

He'll probably remain stubborn about it though and continue to say no like he has to most of my business ideas that aren't just fixes to blatantly obvious stupidities in the business. He knows better than everyone ya see.

i had a boss like that once. he was perfectly ok with any idea i suggested after he claimed it as his own idea from the start lol.

Watching the prices fall on all bouncy coins simply because of Kimoto Gravity Well fixing to a degree the difficulty exploits is sad.

SmartCoin, DigiByte, EarthCoin, Coino and almost all others  .. there is no way in hell the price of these coins can recover simply because the auto-switching pools don't stay on them long enough now to artificially inflate the hashing power.

We need CASH coin to succeed, it is the antidote to auto-switching pools.

well on the upside, diff exploitation leads to a very volatile market. without pump n dump the coin will have a more stabilized value making it a good candidate for preservation of value. the coin will grow naturally with an increase of new investors when hashpower is low. as it is the supply and demand for cashcoin atm is very balanced. so as demand grows so will the price and the hashpower will follow when miners see the growth potential. we just need to get more people out of the mindset of quick pumpndump coins and to start looking at coins with real longterm investment potential. if any coin can sit with btc and be a replacement for btc it is cryptocash.

in other news, i have some info coming soon from a microsoft dev about the Point of Sale addons for their retail software. a friend of mine. we should also start looking at getting cryptocash accepted on some online stores. how hard would it be for our dev to code a merchant for cash like bitpay? let's give cash some serious independence as well by getting it traded directly for usd. all these things will make cash very strong. and im here helping with that because i believe it is a top contender for real investment and longterm growth. if we all like these ideas then we can put them in the list of future projects and tackle them one by one during the course of the next few months. possibly monthly projects so we have a new announcement each month for new developments.

don't pump or even start pump until already on coinmarket cap.... also let's us have a bit more time to mine without everyone crashing in.

Ok so how about coinmarketcap?

Yeah i think on coinmarket cap first would be best.

First a couple of robust block explorers, and working (new) wallet. Then Coinmarketcap.

The working consumer software is now a priority if we want to move forward. I guess that the PoS coupled with the tx fees complicate the wallet. All the PoS coins I have used (HBN,PHS,CGB,BTG) needed a lot of wallet updates, and are still slow compared with PoW.

Most of those other coins frequent updates were due to check pointing with our check pointing server we will likely not require as many if any updates if any for some time after version 1.1. We used a lot of the lessons learned from the exact coins you mentioned. BTG being the first then cloned to CAP then the clones from CAP to HBN, PHS and CGB (and more)

Anyhow watching the progress and evolution of those coins and getting advice from some of the great Stake developers we believe we will not need the constant updates these required (since they began with an inherent flaw) but hey who knows they are beta after all hehe.

Wallet 1.1 (downloaded from Github). I am not getting any connections at all after several hours. Added nodes, config file at the outset... Redownloaded and tried again. Any suggestions ??

i am guessing you have cash.conf with all required nodes placed into it in your roaming\cash folder? are you on windows or linux? if on windows7 be sure to rightclick cash-qt and select "properties" then "unblock".

Updated the bounties with the latest donations.

Honestly, no offense to whoever did the Coin graphic, but it looks extremely similar to a 1980's video game arcade token.  It isn't terrible per say, but it might not be something that can attract the whale money that the coin needs.  There should probably be some kind of bounty for exploratory work on a new coin icon.

A few options:

A)  Some kind of stylized, cartoon image like how Dogecoin uses.  Possibly a money bag sitting on top a pile of coins, pictured on a coin, with the letters CASH or Crypto Cash appearing above or below the picture as I was talking about in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424421.msg5198548#msg5198548

B)  Something like a futuristic logo that spells out the words "Crypto Cash" on a coin.  Some kind of graphical representation appearing with the logo is important.  The money bag idea can be dropped and instead just have some silver coins appear under, above, or behind the logo.  It just has to be something immediately recognizable in the same way trademarks are.

It just has to be something that when a guy holding $10,000 or more in his pocket see's it, he's going to want to invest in it.  The video game token type look probably doesn't work for that.

It sounds insane, but price will at least double once the logo issue has been sorted since it's already highly undervalued.

there is so much shrouding this coin's potential atm. we who read the original post and took the time to understand what it is we have here know that it is a real diamond in the rough. the technology and innovative coding design of this coin and wallet makes it stand out above every single coin on the market. by the end of the year many will wish they could get cash for .00015/20 again. if not sooner.

How soon do you think this coin will be back up to 20-25k satoshi on cryptsy?

why does it matter? 20/25k satoshi isnt even a trading point for cash imo.

Hey Dev, these are the people that have pledge CASH for an Abe block explorer. You might want to send them all a message and give them an address to hold it in for the bounty.

Maybe we should create a bounty thread for this in the main alt section

ok guys im back. its been a pretty busy weekend and i should be adding about 6-800kh to the network within the next couple weeks  Roll Eyes

Thanks Varvarin for the cryptocash gift. it is well appreciated. you guys can put me down for 10 cash towards the abe block explorer thingy... has anyone tried contacting this guy??

btcltcdigger@gmail.com

he builds block explorers. dont know if he does abe or what his fees are like but if noone's contacted him maybe can shoot him an email.

i would also suggest that we break on coinmarket cap at a nicely pumped up price. that means selling much cashcoin to gain marketcap and then pumping the price to boost overall marketcap. we should try to break on at minimum #15 i think on coinmarketcap so we're highly visible on the chart. i am sure by now cash has over $3 million(wild educated guess lol) in marketcap though the current price drop will affect it's true reflection at .0006+

so, get as much cash as you can. we're doing a good job at buying out miner stocks at such a low price. been pulling in an investor here and there with fairly decent bankroll to help us buy out all miner stock. ill try to attract some more investors in about a week and well as the opportunity arises. im estimating maybe the abe explorer should be ready in about 2 weeks? if the timing is all done right we can make cryptocash coin a very prestigious coin. its more innovative than mintcoin by a leap and a bound at least and i think now from seeing it's performance, has a few advantages over vertcoin. this is the best scrypt/POS coin on the market and all it lacks is more investors and more people that understand the innovations coded into this coin. but when they get here, cryptocash isnt going to be cheaper about it. so get what you can now and remember not to saturate the sellorder book if u decide to sell some cash now or in the future. letting it go below .00015 may not be good for investor confidence. as we all know, investors like to see price stability(retail outlets especially) and value going up.. not down. so just be patient, your coins will get bought/sold even if it doesnt go to .001btc today or tomorrow. we can attract all miners any day of the week by pumping cash back up to anywhere around .0004+ btc. .001 will probably take all the miners from all other coins as it will be more than twice as profitable in comparison to any other coin on the market at that rate.

1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] Get your Crypto CASH now! Utilizing Moore's Law (Traded on Cryptsy!) on: February 16, 2014, 01:42:45 AM
when cashcoin hit 0.001 btc?  Cool Cool

Instead of just asking when it will get there so you get rich and move on to something else, why not get the word out, put some effort into developing the coin and actually earn your profits!

By the way the price was leaping, candle chart looked steeper then Everest.

Tell ya what.  If someone sends me the 25 coined they mentioned, I'll throw 10 to the kitty.  This address, from the original announce post, right?  F3yiDmE4AcDvxVLJjWP6rGj3GZPjAFZSHM

Done, I had a 3h nap after 10 hours trading and mining glued to my PC.

If anyone wants some CASH coins .. I will send 25 to 1st 10 people to post PM me wallet address

Dished out 3x 25 on CoinEx .. ppl like it. 7 more left on top of this 250 here.

pm'ed ;p
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] Get your Crypto CASH now! Utilizing Moore's Law (Traded on Cryptsy!) on: February 14, 2014, 06:25:13 AM
Exchanges don't do this because there is no good way to identify whose coins minted the block and how to assign them to the minter. That is why with PoS coins its best to withdraw and hold or the exchange gets the stake.

Thanks man. I wondered if that might be the case, but someone was saying on the chat last night they'd seen someone else say there was an exchange that said they were giving the stake. That's a lot of hearsay Smiley
Will pop a comment on that section to see if we can get that confirmed by majority vote Smiley

ive got an idea.. how about cryptsy just leaves cashcoin as it is.. in working condition.  Cheesy
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] Get your Crypto CASH now! Utilizing Moore's Law (Traded on Cryptsy!) on: February 13, 2014, 06:26:22 PM
i was just wondering.... how the hell does the POS system work.... right now i got 1.3 k in my wallet.... i will let it open for at least 2/3 days... got the coincontrol thing in my screen... selected all my coins... pressed ok.. is this enough? or am i completely wrong here

The coin control is so that when you'd like to send coins, you can select the newest to send, leaving the old coins to do their staking once they've been in there for 30 days (once every 30 days).

i approve of this feature!!
