The wall became x2 at some point - 400btc, 200k xmr. Well you stupid whale, if you have so many xmr there I am sure it is because you are expecting a big price increase to offload them You know shit about trading.... I don't think so. I think he knows *exactly* what trading is for; it's about egotism. If you let your egotism be strong enough you lose money; and he gains. From what I can tell, he's an early adopter even buying all these months @ 10-12 range. He doubles his stash in BTC which (in turn) will be hitting $500 maybe within a month. So; if XMR falls again, he will buy back the double; if XMR climbs up he will be selling at the next stop (26?). Of course, sometimes... things are not getting the way you planned them. There's a Greek saying: "Όταν ο άνθρωπος κάνει σχέδια ο Θεός γελά" "When the man makes plans for the future, God has a good laugh" I personally forget all about XMR at the moment. I may even transfer them into my cold wallet. I am where I wanted. If you want an advice, don't trade. That's the only thing you can do at the moment. Cheers.

In other news the wall has stood all day today and has now moved down to 190k. I know we all love the "whale manipulation"/"whale wants to buy lower" etc angles but this is just a whale exit IMO (too bad!)
That's after moving up from 180 to 200. I hear it was at 170 last night/morning. I guess that's how my bid got filled while I was sleeping last night. Doesn't quite sound like an exit. Please move it down again. FYI: I don't think this is the first time on this small rally of ours. I personally ate a couple of those (on my loss) twice. I'd say if he's desperate to get out, then by all means let him drive the price lower...

Anyone else take a hit from rolling over eth into xmr above .002?
Emotional support needed: I could have had so much more, but I'm okay with what I got.
Plus another paycheck comes in 8 days.
Judging by the size of the walls that were seen, whales not done buying for quite some time.
It can be very risky putting whole percentages out on the order book like that..
Don't worry. The initial generation of early adopters paid 0.004 when emission was more than twice the current. I can confirm it; I was one of them

I am waiting for 460$, depending on market force and chart painting it might even touch 510$ top again. I feel awkwardly bullish. Maybe we will break that 3000CNY chart within the next short time period (depending on volume).

That 100k XMR wall blasts my mind. Either someone is desperate, or distributing... I really have to see how we pass that 20000 mark. Hmm... I like XMR but don't know if there are yet many others who appreciate it. If I buy more, need to make sure I am not overpaying. The wall is capping my buy prices to a level that is sure to be cheap enough. If others bite into it (or swallow it whole, which is not the intention yet at the same time not an undesirable outcome), it is a sign that XMR is taking off and my remaining position (about 4x the size of the wall) will soon be much more valuable and the next sell zone will be many times the current price.
Well, yeah. OR that ^^^

i dont get your hint macsga, did you look at the data after all or is this just your conclusion without looking at the exchange? to me it looks like lending supply is indeed drying out, why this is happening is hard to say. open positions could be forced to close once they are not able to renew ? or is it possible to change the max lending rate % ? btw its now at 48k again allready.
I'm looking at the data as clueless as everybody else. My opinion is that you can't judge a chaotic system by just "looking" at it (at least not in short term; in the sense of a couple of years that XMR is here). Since XMR came along my way it really reminded me what BTC really should have been in the first place. None of them is perfect but both fulfill "the job". "The job" is to have the ability to have electronic money out of the banking system, free of the human greed (and stupidity) to inflate it at will just because they can. The main difference of XMR vs BTC is the former is being able to certify that you may hold your "money" absolutely anonymously (at least more than BTC is). A long story short; I'm not a TA man. I'm a man of fundamentals. In my world both coins are here to stay, each for their own reasons. They just need their time. As for my trading capabilities; I can only say that I *completely* suck as a trader so you shouldn't listen to me more than anyone else in here. That excludes people like klee and his thread which, IMHO really deserves to be watched, if you're into trading. Regards.

I am holding. Is there massive short positions or people just withdrawn the coins from lending markets? 24 hrs ago we had approximately 100 kXMR in lending markets, now the supply is only 20 kXMR.
Hint: Margin trading. Keep your coins, the proper verb is "hodl"

Back to bitcoin: Can we already break through 418 to see some 465 coins again? There's a strong possibility if this happens with a big volume to break even 500. BTW: After the massive dumps, XMR asking side thinning as time goes passing by...

No sure anyone was told but Monero arranged for a pump with some known Poloniex traders. Don't buy into this BS.
If no one was told, then how does anyone know? Are people aware this is an orchestrated pump meant to create a FOMO? Some are, some aren't. Things go up and down. I don't have FOMO. It's likely that it will retrace again, of course. That much volume? Of course it more than smells like a concerted effort. Exactly; therefore the dump of 50K coins (market sell)... XMR price not affected.
