Hi ck,
I notice this stat for pools notice de server is behind ckpool and solo.
Rank Pool Ave Delta From First Pool Delta minus Best 1 solo.ckpool.org:3333 0.056200003623962 0 2 pool.ckpool.org:3333 0.058200025558472 0.0020000219345093 9 de.ckpool.org:3333 0.19300003051758 0.13680002689362
Very impressed ckpool and solo both are very quick is there issue with de being slower?
The measurements for that benchmark are done with a server in the USA so that's the round time to DE and back. DE is only a passthrough now so cannot be any faster than the main pool any more.

I'm out/ off this pool sorry guys
but I got fucked very bad by PPLNS at Kano and can't risk the variance from tiny pools.
So long. Just remember you'll get a payout when we next get a block anyway.

I like the new ckpool website but the only thing I don't see there is my postponed number... I don't see it in the user section anymore. Any way to add that in or am I not looking in the right spot.
It can probably be added. All the old direct links still work by the way.

I just want to make sure I understand this. Our current herp is about 10 trillion shares and I'm guessing it drops back to 0 after each block that we find. So in order to drop the dormant miners, we need cross 10 quadrillion shares before we find our next block?
I should have said trillion. We don't drop to zero, it levels off and starts biasing towards the new shares so the old miners slowly decrease in value.

It makes no difference. If you can make your pool software and bitcoin software as performant as what is on solo.ckpool.org, and have connectivity as good as my pool has, your chance of finding a block is identical as it would be if you mined on my pool. The trick is you're unlikely to be able to recreate the former performance requirements even if you can get the connectivity as good

Hi there could you tell me how to use this key?
--disable-rejecting
sometimes I get the 'rejected' error from pool and then after a while I get the message 'your IP is banned'
I'd like cgminer to connect to another pool for 10 minutes (m.b. 20) and after 10 minutes left, reconnect to the first pool
is that possible to set up?
Being rejected by the pool is different to getting all rejected shares which is what that is for. There is no command for what you're asking. If you're being rejected by the pool you are having a configuration issue with your pool setup, or your pool is shit.

Doesn't matter. Tweaking these has zero effect on mining itself (except for maxdiff which you should never set), only when miners first connect for a few seconds which should only happen once with your own miners. Should I increase startdiff in config? I think it must correlate to network difficulty somehow. What don't you understand about "doesn't matter"?

Hi, I wanted to do solo mining. I just pointed all four of them to stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 with same bitcoin addreses with no extentions and password. Am I doing it right? Thanks in advance
Yep that's fine. Good luck.

You just enter your wallet address and it gets the details, refreshing every 5 seconds or on click. Just gets the data from the webpage and puts it in an app form basically The pages only update every minute on the server so this is wasteful at both ends.

Hi, I have four S9's please provide full details how can I put them all together to mine as one miner at CKPool.org? Thanks in advance
Do you want to mine at this pool which is solo.ckpool.org which is for solo mining, or at ckpool.org which is for regular pooled mining? Either way, just use the same username for all the S9s - which has to be a valid bitcoin address, and it's up to you if you want to give them separate workernames or not. Eg: btcaddress.1 btcaddress.2 btcaddress.3 btcaddress.4

Is there a way to force CGminer to only stick to ANU recognition?
Not really. There was hardly anything different between many many devices that used the exact same communication protocol because hardware manufacturers didn't want to think about it, used the same usb chip, and were too lazy to add a simple identifier on their usb devices. Adding more commands now for such old slow hardware is a bit of a waste of time I'm afraid.

Hello! I just joined your pool with my lonely but hardworking S9 miner, I understand that it's stupid to ask how much I will receive, but what is the probability of finding a block by my miner, with an average speed of 12.8-13.3 Th/s?
Your Hash rate = 13 TH/s 100% probability to win a block in 35,55 years I would love to see this exercise on 7 PH/s Pool Hash rate = 7000 TH/s 128% probability to win a block in 1 month Alas these are wrong. There is no such thing as 100% probability with mining which is a stochastic process. It keeps approaching 100% but never gets there.

What diff should I set for solo mining on my own node/pool?What digits should I set in ckpool.conf file for better pool performance? My current digits do not look optimal: "mindiff" : 1, "startdiff" : 2500000, "maxdiff" : 0, Doesn't matter. Tweaking these has zero effect on mining itself (except for maxdiff which you should never set), only when miners first connect for a few seconds which should only happen once with your own miners.

Hi All, first post here. I've been mining here for a few days with two S9s. When I go here: http://ckpool.org/pool/pool.miners , my miner shows up, but when I go to the dashboard: http://ckpool.org/#/dashboard , I do not. Could someone explain the difference between the two lists? Thanks in advance. 188HkPyFMXKvB5jwUBd1mGYQSwFxmmeZzf Click on the user menu item. Insert your address into the line and press "see user" then when you go back to the dashboard it will show your 1day average hashrate.

Some dev you are, can't even tell that you're posting in the BITCOIN section of the forum.

how much this could turn for 90Th/s miner? I was hashing a few days but consider to return my miners back here ...
Funny how people keep asking the same question in different ways - miners here earn the same as at any other pool over a long enough period, except they don't pay any fees.

( we all know that there is 99,9% chance that wetsuit will hit it )
Actually only 85%. One of our blocks so far wasn't found by wetsuit already.
