when is new snapshot ? was it today ?
No, snapshot for round #2 is on feb-11 00:33 UTC!

I am slightly confused. The opening post in this thread states: The snapshots for the second round will be taken on the Full Moon of February, on February 11 at 00:33 UTC. In this round, you receive: - 62.5 MB for every 1 BTC of proven balance - 0.1 new bytes for every 1 byte you own at the moment of the snapshot
It then goes on to say: The 3rd and subsequent rounds (yet to be announced) will follow similar rules, but the relative weight of bytes vs. BTC in the 3rd and further rounds will change and will gradually increase to 1 BTC=62.5 MB. Does this mean that the weighting of the third round is likely to be less then 62.5MB per BTC, so that it can then increase back to 62.5MB per BTC in later rounds? It is a little confusing to say that it will be distributed as 62.5MB and then later increase to 62.5MB. The relative weight of bytes vs. BTC will increase, so you will get more for your bytes than for your BTC in further rounds!

exchange bot is asking for "Waiting for your payment. If you want to start another exchange, see the current rates or set your price." I dont know the payment address any more. and I think there is no way to let the bot say it agaon or?
Try to put in your byte address again (the menue with 3 dots on the lower left), then the bot should start again.

Wie kann ich Blackbytes handeln?
Du musst Deine Wallet mit Deinem Handelspartner linken, das geht mit dem "Invitation Code". Dann geht man mit dem anderen in den Chat und kann Blackbytes senden und empfangen.

I don't think its safe to store bitcoins in an address that you already made a payment with. If you do that your real public key is revealed and then it is possible to find out your private key and spend the bitcoins you have in that address.
I can't follow your concerns but you can always use the second option to link your bitcoins with your Byteball wallet: by signing a message. This is the preferred option for me because you don't have to move your bitcoins around and you don't need to wait for slow bitcoin confirmations. The signature is verified by the bot instantly.

Sorry if this is a beginner question but I'm not real sure what to to.
Three days ago I've set up the light wallet and generated two adresses with my seed, then attached them to the tangle succesfully. Then I received two transactions from Yassin on each of these adresses. Both incoming transactions show as "confirmed", although the address generations itself (the entries without a value) still show as “pending”, for three days now.
I generated another seed and tried to send a transaction to myself. I see the transaction in the “history” tab, but they do not confirm, also for several days now. Still “pending”. I tried “replay” and “rebroadcast” several times, to no avail. The balance doesn’t change in either wallet.
What can I do to get a transaction confirmed?
Wrong thread. Here's Byteball, please ask in IOTA thread.

Hi,
I see it says on the website: " 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte received in the first round".
So for 10Gb I received I should be getting another 1GB?
What if the bytes were moved (or sold) from the 'original' receiving wallet. do I still get it? Do we need to keep a balance on byte in the wallet to get it?
Does it automatically send it to the same address linked Dec 25 2016?
Thanks!
You will receive the 0.1 new Bytes for every 1 Byte on any address of yours but for receiving the 0.2111 new Blackbytes, you have to move your complete wallet balance to a certain Byte address! You'll get this address from the transition bot after you've linked a bitcoin address. Don't worry, this Byte address is one of yours, you can check that in the wallets cogwheel settings menu.

An interesting project: SPECTRE, described as a “fast and scalable distributed ledger protocol,” could be the solution to some of Bitcoin's woes. Utilizing a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) similar to ByteBall, SPECTRE, an acronym for “Serialization of Proof-of-work Events: Confirming Transactions via Recursive Elections,” claims to increase the throughput of the network, confirmation times, and be as resilient, if not more so, against 50 percent attacks. https://btcmanager.com/news/tech/spectre-protocol-dag-structure-to-solve-scalability/

i tried to sell some Byteball with the internal chatbot and i set my units to "GB" and sent 3 GB, but the wallet sent in reality 3 bytes ist this a known bug?
Seems like if i send a transaction he is ignoring what account i set. It shows GB but it sends bytes.
2.
one more question. If i put a buy or sell order on, could i chancel it later? the bot documentation shows nothing.
Please upgrade to the latest wallet version 1.1.1!

i was playing with the internal byte btc exchange bot in the app. now i want to delete a sell order which i've made. is it possible?
No it's not possible at the moment to cancel an order. But you can sell to yourself if that helps. What happens if someone wants to buy and I don't want to sell? The trade is executed automatically if ask and bid are matching, but you could set your price so high that nobody wants to buy from you. And if he empties his wallet? This would do nothing because his Bytes are already transferred to the bot's escrow account.

why dev dont pay 5BTC and go to Bittrex ?
I don't think there's any point to go to Bittrex, we have an exchange for byteball, and it trades well, so if you want to trade, just go there. On the contrary, we do need an exchange for blackbyte. BTW, when February distribution will happen? For keeping Blackbytes anonymous, trading at exchanges is the wrong way. There will be escrow contracts for trustless trading bb soon.
