I tried to set minermemory=1 and genproclimit=1 to see if I can get it using one thread, but it keeps using full CPU (though it says: 1 miner/1 thread) : /

That's an old dual core PC, maybe a bit too old for this job.

I'll try to use a CPU limiter utility...

you could try to contact cryptonit. he something knows well programs, which can do that!

Greetz
Steve

I've used BES CPU Limiter in the past and works pretty fine: http://mion.faireal.net/BES/

i use http://efmer.com/b/ for such tasks (limiting CPU proccesses)
u can make it based on cpu temperature (example u have a nice overclocked cpu but dont want ur CPU mining destroy it.....

but u also can just set the max cpu cycle percentage for a process and this way make sure he not use up all ur CPU resources

addition u can just open the process in taskmanager (details) and set process priority to below normal

this way even if it use up 100% cpu resources whenever someone else with normal priority need cpu
the cpu resources given to him instead the miner because miner have less priority

a POS question
are there blackcoin.conf option for splittreshhold and mergestreshhold avaiable?
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 30, 2016, 09:46:20 PM
in fact u can not even fill 1 supernode with the coins on market below 800

i cant believe price will stay long below 800
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Krypton, KR - BaaS Corp & Open Source, Public Blockchain for Business/IoT on: September 30, 2016, 09:38:23 PM
thx for swap instructions email send waiting for the coins

static blockrewards is nice but also lead to question if we can set mergethreshhold and splittreshhold so we can optimize coin pile size
2246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 30, 2016, 09:27:45 PM

We can not be blind like supernode will solve all Smiley ... we need know today how to use them and sell it with business.
Decentalized web hosting... decentralized learnig...

PS:I don't want to see here bitshares peercoin namecoin NXT scenario - good coins but no business plan

what we see now is like a tech demo of the upcoming NEM

and the supernode bonus rewards are a incentive for people who provide a great multi hundret high performance nodes backbone to NEM

i really think the new website https://www.nem.io/
and the blog answer all questions and give more than enough reasons why its great to get a share on NEM in the early adopter phase

i see NEM in a really good position with solutions to many questions that most other coins have not answered

including to "smart contracts"

the answer NEM give here is to state
with industry most advanced form of multisig on blockchain
NEM provide the ideal toolbox for contract logic be build on top

BUT not executed on blockchain

Quote
some might think
hey if smart contract not exist blockchain is a fail
i see that different
blockchain is here to state the status who owns what (and chages of ownership via transactions)
in a way that cant be manipulated and thats transparent for everyone
and NEM do that perfect not just for one coin (XEM) but for any asset (called mossaic in NEM slang)

why someone send stuff from A to B is in my opinion not a fundamental part of blockchain core technology
and smart contract is exactly that some kind of automated logical construct why (under which conditions) transactions happens
and thats stuff that can go awfull wrong as TheDAO did show us)

i think u can compare blockchain with a car
and smart contracts with a autonomous driving car
to world might be ready in 5-10 years but not now

and in fact there is no reason that NEM chain cant be used for stuff as factum FCT offers
if i remember right part of their abilities already recreated on NEM via apostille

NEM make a clear difference between provide tools and build business with them

many companies did see this use the tools and build business based on it

we can expect the business launches build on top of NEM
and the technology leap when the actual NEM code will be replaced with a multiple times faster version based on C++

will create a firework that attract many many new investors into NEM

i see this point be reached in Q1/Q2 2017

please dont see this as investment advise
just my opinion and the reason why i dont risc waiting for 500 which we maybe never reach
and stock up already now with NEM

never forget there is no constant sell presure of POW or POS generated new coins on market
and its very hard get hands on cheap coins beside some whale dump his coins
ZERO INFLATION is the magic word

i think arrow will show upwards soon and NEM stay in waiting position around 800-1100

how far the jump will go we can hard estimate

last time it was 30 to 2500
that cant happen again
800 to 4000+ can be
in ideal case even 10000+
2247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 29, 2016, 06:16:12 PM
So best to dump this coin?

the lower the better  Grin

i see no blood!
i want more blood on the streets!

did u guys know makoto left the NEM core team?
can u feel the panic now?

i see no blood!
i want more blood on the streets!

sell as long as u can get at least something for ur XEM

(if someone missed the ironic nature of above post try read again
i believe in a strong future for NEM and everyone who dont should better sell his coins cheap into my pockets)

What factors control masternode earnings?

This is the first attempt I have made at a masternode and it appears to work but only 1 or 2 winners a day.

T.

amount of blocks created each day divided by active masternodes is ur average amount of block u can claim with ur masternode

average amount of daily blocks u can see here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bsd/#!overview

amount of active masternodes u see in ur wallet console with command

masternode count

121 actual active

so yes average 240 blocks a day and 120 active masternodes means by claim 2 blocks u doing perfectly fine

Hi to community.
Is there any more exchanges, that trade DMD, except bittrex?..

get DMD listed on other exchanges is a community effort

experience shows that DMD trading was always very centralized on one main exchange
first it was cryptsy now it is bittrex
we where on cryptopia too but there it was low trading volume

and they stated they had issues make DMD 2.1 compatible with their exchange logic
bittrex had no issues at all with DMD 2.1 so we see the issue origin on cryptopia side

poloniex is at the moment out of range and from the lesser exchanges i think the only one interesting in my opinion would be

https://www.livecoin.net/voting/index

in post above this community members informed us we are already listed at some small new exchanges
but we didnt test them and need community feedback
if they worth to get listed at our website/ANN thread

I really like livecoin, has most of the coins that I mine and trade, has 2FA, great exchange in my opinion.  Got my vote.

fixed

Their is not much volume yet, and we need to do a lot more work on btcpop.
An API is also planned and also to make more Data available without register.

responsible exchange admins on coin ANN threads

true luxury!

last time we had that was with mullick from cryptsy
poor guy that his boss fucked up cryptsy so bad

thx for ur direct feedback Casimir1904
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 27, 2016, 12:02:01 PM
price going down like shit

if not news from dev
i think xem will go down

Price will go down that i am sure but ninja news and will move up again so beware of missing train tomorrow or month ahead.
My bet is price around ~500 then move sideways until news and jump ^^ you need good reflex.
With Nem there is time with no news but when it comes they will bombard you with them.
crashing time is good for investors.

In short time i don't see any pump ahead we have few calm fall months.

longterm the  zero inflation
and nearly each day a new supernode open
its gates and bind another 3 million coins outside of exchanges
will have visible effects

2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOXT] - NobleNXT Proposal/Whitepaper - Noble's 1st Colored Coin on: September 27, 2016, 09:37:51 AM

Is this right? you also could pay with NXT, no?

No Idea, I don't use Nxt either, and if I am buying Nxt, it should be priced in Nxt , so I doubt it.

See what I mean , if I have to buy Noxt , it needs to be made easier.

Any of the smaller volume exchanges would do or even a direct link on the web site, that let me pay in BTC or LTC and converts it to NOXT.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem buying NOXT, but it needs to be as easy as buying BTC or LTC and just sending it to a payment address.

 Cool

u have a account at a exchange that trade BTC/NXT for sure
buy NXT send and utilize them on NXT asset exchange to buy NOXT

spend them to add NOBLEPAY support towards your coin

thats it

but i agree rofo could take a different route

like state list coin price is 1 BTC +0.1 BTC per coin

1st coin 1.0 BTC
2nd coin 1.1 BTC
3rd coin 1.2 BTC

and so on

and the BTC raised  this way he spend to buy and burn NOXT from NXT asset exchange

this would make sure there will be people list NOXT sellorders

because if not u would be able sell NOXT there at insane good gains

and greed is a strong motivation for humans
only beaten by fear and love

i want to support as person and investor the future projects
and i offer also the DMD Diamond Foundation to join in working together for common goals
to add value for all coins taking part in federatated blockchains initative #fedchain
2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRS] Groestlcoin | Porting all wallets on every platform for user adoption on: September 27, 2016, 09:28:34 AM
Bittrex is very important.

chris u posting here a lot
what way u involved in GRS?
where u part of team before?
why GRS not team up with ERC and BSD and DMD on blockchain foundation?
it see many people involved and invested in each other projects

as a join effort it would have been easy create the trading volume required

but first we need a prove of dev team and that they are in contact with bittrex already regarding the topic

i have to state im very happy and impressed by this project
i think if some big ambition goals added like closer ties to ERC maybe even establish a merged mining of both coins
which result in double protection and double reward for miners

the the future might be even more bright
as already great projects like blockchain federation let us hope

2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRS] Groestlcoin | Porting all wallets on every platform for user adoption on: September 27, 2016, 07:36:26 AM
without bittrex u have

- Litebit
- Bitsquare
- Cryptopia

to be able trade GRS

but if u keep in mind other coin communities working long and hard to get listed on a top exchange like bittrex

its a true waste to lose the slot so easy

so devs at least get in touch with bittrex

and community do ur best to create trading volume

some roadmap update and signals why situation for GRS will become better

might help also

and in case u did give up on GRS it also would be fair to state that

so we no longer waste time with it

Hi to community.

there is another small exchange not advertised, but at the moment no volume in it, only one sell order present, is at btcpop.co

interesting they didnt inform us
they show no exchange data without register
someone can confirm by deposite and withdraw small dmd amounts they run a correct 2.1.0.4 wallet?
