galactus ur idea doesnt fit inside the max coin and desired coin rollout timeframe of DMD Diamond
it would create to many coins
a counter of sellpressure cant be hyperinflation
just that people cant sell the hyperinflation coins for 6 month or a year doesnt mean they not exist and will create sellpressure later on
the way DMD coinrollout is designed now gurantee constant decreasing inflation
and max 4.38 million coins and coin rollout timeframe of ~30 years is a guarantee to investors
still as said already we evaluate possible ways to reward people who remove their coins from circulation for some time

I tried the above wallet faced an issue (while re-organizing coins in my wallet, i sent few coins to the same address and it didn't do anything other than deducting the transaction fees). As stated clearly, this wallet is still not ready for production use. You can use it for your testing purpose but its advised to use the production versions and not the developer versions (revisions) I didn't try this yet, as I'm waiting for the production version. But I think there are some settings for the conf file that do the reorg. Some of the other guys have been using it so may be able to advise. The conf file should be in %APPDATA%\magi, but it isn't created by default, and I'm not sure on the filename. The following lines are added to the conf (but not sure if that carries out the splitting automatically or if you still need to transfer your money (I'm sure one of the guys using the new wallet will help here), # Transaction under stake with a value greater than the threshold is being splitted
stakesplitthreshold=600
# Transactions with values less than the threshold will combine into one
stakecombinethreshold=30

The above numbers should work 600 and 30, I personally prefer larger block sizes and am using: stakesplitthreshold=2200 stakecombinethreshold=800 This is maintaining my block sizes right around 1100 which stake daily and when I receive smaller amounts from mining I just manually combine them to one of the larger blocks about once a day. It's working great and the wallet is much faster. if u goal ist average 1100 XMG size blocks use this values and u will never ever have to manual combine anything stakesplitthreshold=1000 stakecombinethreshold=1500 this way u will have coin pile between size 500 and 2000 (average 1250) in ur wallet that in a never ending automated circle split and merge and absorb also any new generated dust by mining a true zero micromanagement POS solution |

How big are your coin piles? If you have in the wallet only coins mined by GPU the it's very hard for them to compete with others on the network and mint a block. I think for "dust" in your wallet you need a "seed" (coin pile) around 25 DMD. Ok I understand, I should buy DMD if I would mint, for now I prefer only mine supporting the project! because ur avaiable balance is zero if u send all coins in timelock
so noone can send them away out of ur wallet
and the best part u not pay to have ur wealth deposit in a absolute save area

we finished 3rd birthday event and a dmd cloudmining promotion with giveaway of stakeboosted prvate reactor keys now the laste 4 keys used for a wikipedia entry and a short promotion video event this time hosted by community members beside this we are in the start phase of a long silence to early to release infos and sneak previews of DMD 3.0 i expect this to be a great timeframe to accumulate DMD at a very cheap price and prepare for the hot year 2017 where DMD 3.0 will appear on radar of many not just existing/former DMD community members |

I like your proposal cryptonit and maybe we can do it as a community effort. I would donate for sure.
A well written Wikipedia page for DMD, preferable maintained by an English native speaker would definitely be a good thing.
1000 DMD plus one year stake bonus address for creating and maintaining the page for one year sounds like a good offer to me.
It should also be stated how many lines of text it has to have and how many updates there have to be done.
The creation of a DMD promo video is probably the more hard thing to get done,
because it requires lots of things, like a gathering of ideas and usable content, ongoing communication between creators and DMD core team about status and progress.
Maybe there is a trustworthy group or person at bitcointalk.org who offers such services and would be interested to create it with a similar offer like for the Wikipedia page?

Hi, I would mine DMD on ubuntu 14.04, I've already installed proprietary drivers for my gpu, but I don't know how install sgminer, on github I found only Windows version but nothing for Linux.
Someone can help me?
I don’t use Linux myself so I’m not totally sure about this. But in the “good old days” Danbi made a modification to the sph-sgminer 4.1.0 and added support for the Diamond kernel. As far as I know this is the only miner that works with DMD and AMD cards (at least if you want to mine via stratum on a pool). I found the source code here: https://github.com/danbi/sph-sgminer. Don’t know if there are other versions available somewhere. Note that the kernel, diamond.cl, probably is an old slow one, so you should replace it with an optimized kernel instead for best results.
