DMD Diamond be part of the party! Side by side with ERC Europecoin and BSD Bitsend
Great news from http://www.federatedblockchains.eu.org/ and http://www.internetofcoins.org/

You can take me literally, its 70% feature complete (plus things i wasn't even imagining myself),
You will see a revolution. I wouldn't be that bold, if the credit was belonging  to me.
The team is currently working in full time and we are heading towards the promised closed alpha testnet.

Active coin maintainers may join on our Federated Blockchains server.
Together, with Europecoin, Bitsend, DIAMOND Foundation and others, we will test the first existing
blockchain agnostic federation protocol for apps and services, that will give more than ethereum like features to any connected altcoin.
Credit goes to the fabulous "Internet of Coins" team, that has worked on this innovation since two years.

well just fired up my wallet (v2.1.04) to get my monthly stake.
in 3 days i get 3 orphan stakes (10 dmd total) and one confirmed stake worth 3.97dmd
is that normal?

DMD POS explained:
https://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,127.0.html

3 out of 4 POS attempts a orphan is not normal
check if u wallet is on correct chain and blocknumbert is the same as here
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/#

in case u on wrong blocknumber check the FAQ regarding start with a new presynced blockchain

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1478653.0

if u are then u maybe just had a very uncommon unlucky streak
but the good part is a orphan POS try is no loss for u the coins keep their coin age and try again

Now POS to have a 25% annual income.
Easy to calculate that every 1000 coins will bring you approximately 5,2 coins per week or ~ 21 DMD per month.
Now this is quite a lot since many POS coins have only 5% of annual income.

and what the price of these coins with 5% per annum?

cryptonit recently wrote that DMD provides greater interest than the banks.
just for reference, in my country the best interest rates in the national currency 22% per annum, 10% in dollars and 9.5% in euros.

great country guess u gona invest ur money at ur bank then or? why u even care about crypto if u have such a great and stable lets guess rubble?

u cant get any € bank interest above 3% here in austria and most other countries in EU
when the money is not bound for years and even then its hard get 5%

Where do you plan to buy Fly for the multipool? Bleu?

should we choose banana or banana?

lets do

2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CureCoin - Protein Folding Research based Proof of Work on: November 23, 2016, 08:02:52 PM
But if you check total mined coin 1880944 but when you check sold coins it is about 2m so how is it possible?

u are registered since march 2014 u have over 1000 postings
u should be able find the answer

research a coin history and the coin rollout model is the basic knowledge for crypto investors

if u lack that skills maybe u doing something wrong
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🔹🔹[ANN][BSD] BitSend -New CPU Algo XEVAN is now online 🔹🔹🔹 on: November 23, 2016, 07:55:12 PM
Multipool resistance is definitely a good reason to get a custom algo - that I agree on.
great so we all agree on that part

so we can state xevan create multipool resistance
and the preparation for easy algo switch in wallet could help if a algo change desired again

so after all it was a step forward even if its not like a true unique algo just a different mix of existing ones

in my opinion it would be the best to find a merge mining algo for all friendly POW coins out of the federated blockchain coinfamily

at the moment that would be europecoin and bitsend

both based on pretty new bitcoin codebase the blocktemplate should be similar enough to establish a merged mining solution

don't  miss it again, market says: NOW or NEVER Wink

if ya belive in a raise in the future its everytime "now"

invest each month what ur budget allow

whatever the price is

if just 50% of stuff europecoin and federated blockchain initative working on come true

no price u paid in the last months will make u sad

2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CureCoin - Protein Folding Research based Proof of Work on: November 23, 2016, 09:41:23 AM
So when *is* the estimated release date of cure 2.0? Two more years or never?
Never

whenever he write something bad about curecoin remember why

Sorry but i already sold it @7000 but will buy again @2000 sat. And i cant see any buy wall

and guess what he will write once his low CURE buyorders are filled?

YES right guess

CURE to the moon..........

Did you see price am i right?

to me the poloniex market looks perfect normal for a small marketcap coin

over 10 BTC buyorders
and a price far above to 3000 we didsee a few months ago
and that even if u consider the massive BTC price raise

without that it would be stable 6-7000
2071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🔹🔹[ANN][BSD] BitSend -New CPU Algo XEVAN is now online 🔹🔹🔹 on: November 23, 2016, 09:02:46 AM
when gpu miner will be avaible?

We have currently  only cpu miner. I have a offer for a gpu miner. ~1.5 BTC

You do? Why make the XEVAN algo if you wanted a GPU miner? You could have used ANY GPU algo out there...

have a unique algo is a very effective multipool protection

additional its to be expected even if a GPU miner can be done
his advantages over a CPU miner would not be that big that CPU mining lose any sense

but in that area u are way more specialist wolf0 whats ur opinion?
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: November 23, 2016, 08:59:12 AM
We almost need to invent a scientific term in the crypto community - something like litmus test or grandfather paradox but for capitalizations following big scandals like MtGox and DAO.  Bitcoin has yet to recover to MtGox $1250.  Ethereum has yet to recover to its' high of $15 before DAO.  I don't think BItcoin nor Ethereum will ever recover to their former glory and  yet, because the market can't rationally decide to move on, we're essentially frozen in time until a big actor bets on a newer horse.

How many years does it take before people realize the old capitalization will never been recovered?  Well it's been almost 3 years since MtGox. . .

this never to be reached again all time highs u state
are peanuts once mainstream adoption take place
bitcoin and ethereum will be for sure part when that happens

BUT i also strong belive NEM will be
the global blockchain business will be to big for just a few coins
i expect like 50-100 coins be part of the rise and NEM in a top 10 position

whole cryptocurrency bubble is only 20 000 million $ now

thats nothing compared to the yearly Gross_world_product

20.000.000.000 $ value all cryptocurrencies together
75.590.000.000.000.000.000 $ GWP 2013

so yes even if mainstream only means get involved in a very tiny part of worldwide economic processes
u can estimate a 100x gain or more for all involved coins

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gross_world_product
Quote
The gross world product (GWP) is the combined gross national product of all the countries in the world. Because imports and exports balance exactly when considering the whole world, this also equals the total global gross domestic product (GDP).[nb 1] In 2014, according to the CIA's World Factbook, the GWP totalled approximately US$107.5 trillion in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP), and around US$78.28 trillion in nominal terms.[1] The per capita PPP GWP in 2014 was approximately US$16,100 according to the World Factbook.[1] According to the World Bank, the 2013 nominal GWP was approximately US$75.59 trillion.[2]

Ok thanks for taking some time to reply to my questions. I think these days are special especially because Bitcoin is outnumbering all altcoins. We all perfectly know that when BTC moves it moves big.
Altcoins find good soil when BTC is stagnant. The same goes, I believe, for DMD

was that way in the past will be that way in the future
as long as there is a dedicated team a coin stay in game
and be part of the blockchain powered future

2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: November 22, 2016, 05:29:23 PM

their loss our gain

R3 as a way to brainstorm about how it could be done is just outdated
if there are solutions like NEM that show how it can be done
2075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: November 22, 2016, 04:45:46 PM
But NEM has 8,999,999,999 coins (9x10^15 pieces) and is in competition with more than 600 other coins, this is not simple. More competitors are incomming day by day.  Cheesy

for crypto only thing that matter is in how many units u can split the coin

for bitcoin that is

21000000 00000000 bitcoin
8999999999 000000 XEM

so in fact there is only a bit over 4 times more units of XEM than BTC

that is because bitcoin have 8 digits after the dot and xem just 6 digits

so does that mean 1 XEM 200$ soon?

no it doesnt

but it also mean 1$ is not pure utopia in a few years
even more if crypto goes mainstream

the major successfactor is what happens now

with nanowallet mobile wallet and catapult rdy soon
we are in the most crucial phase that decide if we will hold a top 10 place
move upwards to the top 5 coins
or fall back because we missed the chance show our abilities in a way that make people realize our true strengh

2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: November 22, 2016, 02:35:17 PM
That "fella" had at least 3 million XEM.  What you suggest is no different than saying bail out for bankers, rich and elites.  Good riddance to him.  We should be focusing more on the ordinary man, not the new bankers of crypto.

At this stage of the game it's still microscopic and it needs to be supported. There's no more than a few thousand people involved and anyone getting wiped out costs NEM an ally.

3 million coins doesn't make anyone a psychopathic bankster. It was a few grand. And it would've eventually been spread far and wide. Someone with that much skin in the game is going to work a little harder than some guy on Poloniex with 500 XEM on his balance.

guys i need no support to get back the 3 million XEM
all i wanted to say is that as someone understand correct

XEM in fact have a deflation

with zero new coins generated and more and more coins overtime will become non-access-able
only gods know how many initial shareholder for example already lost access to their coins
not all of the coin spread group where experienced crypto users and chances are high many lost access to their coins

in fact i was lucky and recovered most keys beside one so the loss for me is just a lessons learned to have more frequent and better backups

may this be a warning for that of u who didnt backup in a while....
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | Hybrid Security | 25% PoS on: November 22, 2016, 02:08:07 PM
cryptonit

mining DMD on CPU will be beneficial?
for example on processor Pentium G2030?
I think mining on the GPU always better than on CPU

at DMD 3.0 CPU and GPU mining will be possible and without interacting with each other
that means GPU miners will never decrease rewards for CPU miners
and CPU miners will never decrease rewards for GPU miners

but still POW mining even if much more advanced in DMD 3.0 is a tiny part of coin rollout
just part of the technology to add hybrid security

so we have no interest become a mainstream POW coin
just fair reward a few POW cpu and a few gpu miners who add hybrid security to our primary POS centric blockchain
2078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | Hybrid Security | 25% PoS on: November 22, 2016, 12:59:04 PM
sell DMD for 22 cents...!?   Huh  Roll Eyes Cheesy

Chinese FPGA miners basically indifferent to what coin cost, the main thing that it pays for spent electric energy.

another problem that will be gone with DMD 3.0
while groestl is FPG and asic friendly that will be different with the algoes we use in DMD 3.0
it will be two different algos one  for CPU mining one for GPU mining

what does this division algos give us?
FPGA in this case will not work or something else?

more details when we release whitepaper
for now we can just state it will be not groestl algo for mining in DMD 3.0
and that way the existing groestl algo FPGA/acsic cant be used to minde DMD any longer

as we all know x11 mining asics existing and pre asics it was mined with fpga farms

and x11 include groestl as one of its sub algos

chances are high that part of actual DMD Diamond mining is done with modified x11 FPGA gear which cant compete with x11 asics

POW part of coin rollout is low this days like ~172 DMD a day

but a part of this is expected to constant flood market because generated by chinese  FPGA farms

i see this very positive and enable people gather cheap DMD

but like many other positive aspects of DMD 3.0 this constant  sellpressure will also be a thing of the past once DMD 3.0 go active
2079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | Hybrid Security | 25% PoS on: November 22, 2016, 12:52:50 PM
and only 129 wallets online.
first of all "only" 129 is relative
for a altcoin with our marketcap that a incredible high number of active wallets
and once people fix their outdated wallets we will be again in an area 150-200 active wallets

I'm just worried about a possible attack on our network Smiley

its good if people have a look at the stats
and u where right that there is like 30~ wallets mostly non updated ones
missing in a wrong chain

but thats what we where telling them since months that the update to 2.1.0.4 is mandatory
without update high risc lose connection to main chain
2080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 22, 2016, 12:38:28 PM
So can we link a paperwallet?

as i understand in the process of claim coins at one stage u will need to sign a message with ur key
for that step u would need to import ur paper wallet into a real wallet

but u can keep the wallet offline do the verify task and delete it again

sign  and verify messages with ur key dont require ur wallet to be online
