What I'm asking is:
1) upload a more recent version of original.rar (the current one is up to block 378,000)
2) provide a list of "good" nodes to add to diamond.conf

 we will do that or similar effect things (seednodes that spread save peers is a option)

what i m asking u scrxxx is:

when will u open ur great miner towards the whole groestl algo mining community
instead of destroy dev time and force others hack ur miners to be useable by all pools
if we wana work together for success of groestl algo based coins we should start to work together instead of against each other
isnt open source the base idea of cryptocoins?
sharing great ideas and improvements to the better of us all?

until optimized size blockchain is uploaded u can use this one:
Code:

2.0.2.2 isnt mandatory because of hardfork its mandatory because its help protecting network against harmful rogue wallets

with 2.0.2.1 u can be part of network but u are unprotected against rogue old wallets who spam stuff that can corrupt ur database

and its maybe possible u could  inject that bad data towards 2.0.2.2 wallets maybe too

so its only a matter of time until we will add in a future wallet 2.0.2.1 towards the list of old wallets which our actual  wallet will not accept as connection

6503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, 50% POS Active on: June 30, 2014, 09:28:48 PM
@danbi

regarding cryptsy:

i think they  just set their own system in secure mode regarding dmd until we fixed problems
for me not allow deposits is their attempt make sure no bad coins  can apear in exchange and limit withdraw amount also a security feature of them
once our network stabilize im sure they remove that savety locks
they cant be on a wrong fork if their withdraws working (i did withdraw a few tines already successful amounts below 100 dmd)

it must be intended behavior of their own system
so i expect all deposits/big withdraws are there and stored and crypsy just wait until they execute them and leave them pass some exchange system/coin network security barrier

we know cryptsy is sometimes slow so i still expect situation stay at this level for a few days

friendly remind them that new wallet fixed crash issues after resync blockchain will maybe motivate them to update their wallet and remove their limitations

6504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRC] | VeriCoin | PoS - Dynamic Interest | SMS | ANON on: June 30, 2014, 12:11:50 PM
BTW if criminals and terrorists secide to use VRC the price would be 1000x cause of the demand, would you be sad then Smiley

thats a interesting question.....

if u u find a bag with money on street and u hear in radio there was a bankrobbery in a town nearby

would ya keep the bag?

if you sell on ebay some stuff and someone send ya instead of 100$ 10000$ and later tell ya sorry please send back 9000$ to another bank account and keep the 900$ for the troubles u had  ( a well known methode to wash dirty money......)

would ya do it?

basical its about moral and and support/not support common rules of society

for me its a clear NO i am against any anon crypto features it just attract drug blood diamond mafia and similar criminal people/business

we at Diamond DMD did choose against any anon features we expect crypto business be soon legalized and regulated by laws and when the coins be spit into criminal and legal ones we wana secure our investrors are on the save side
6505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - **NOBL/$USD@VoS**MARKETPLACE/BULLION**52 CHARITIES/MERCHANTS** on: June 30, 2014, 05:29:24 AM
if ya switch a part of coin rollout from POW to POS u need high POS at early stage

once the gap towards ur desired coin amount become smaller u reduce POS rewards

this is how diamond DMD did it (goal total coins 4.3 million after 30 years):

 // Diamond v2 PoS spec:
                // 50% from total coins 450,000 to 1,500,000 coins
                // 25% from 1,500,000 to 2,500,000 coins
                // 5% from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 coins
                // 1% ever since 3,500,000 coins
                        if (totalCoin > 3500000)
                            nRewardCoinYear = 1 * CENT;
                        else if (totalCoin > 2500000)
                            nRewardCoinYear = 5 * CENT;
                        else if (totalCoin > 1500000)
                            nRewardCoinYear = 25 * CENT;
                        else
                            nRewardCoinYear = 50 * CENT;n

 // Diamond v2 coin POW mechanics
        // 1.05 reward until  1,000,000 total coins created
        // 0.10 reward after 1,000,000 created
        // 0.02 reward after 2,500,000 created
        if(totalCoin > 2500000)
            nSubsidy = 2 * CENT;
        else if(totalCoin > 1000000)
            nSubsidy = 10 * CENT;

and this will result in such a coin rollout:

RED LINE = new coins each month produced by POW (numbers on right side)
GREEN LINE = new coins produced each month by POS (numbers on right side)
TOTAL COINS (numbers on left side)
numbers on bottom of graphic are the months (the graphic represent a 30 year timeline)

as ya can see in blue circle on pic we also have a timeframe with high POS and high POW rewards active at same time
this is the main coin-rollout phase

because the percentage of total coins that are already rolled out is higher at noble coins compared to diamond this goldrush-phase can be shorter at noble

later when POW rewards are reduced our plan is to have merged mining to still have hashing power which secvure network of all coins of the merged mining family

we offering noble team to discuss a possible teamwork and research/founding together a merged mining family of same mindset coins

I purchased DMD ages ago on cryptsy and held them there for months. are they still valid?

sure but by leave them on exchange u wasted all that coin-age

once u transfer them to your wallet u will start with 0 days coin-age and have to wait until ur coins old enough to earn pos rewards
6507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, 50% POS Active on: June 29, 2014, 06:44:40 PM

I think, we need new wallet too Smiley

we all do  Cool

 but in the meantime its easy workaround to restore a backuped blockchain and delete peers.dat and sync up again and this time dont close wallet Wink
6508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, 50% POS Active on: June 29, 2014, 06:42:41 PM
My wallet synced after deleting all in appdata ( w/o wallet.dat ) then downloaded blockchain and put it to appdata.
In conf file addnode=193.68.21.19

Than syncked after some time ... but I have another peoblem. Seems the PoS system not working well. Here is a shot:

Any ideas ? Smiley

what u see here is always the same atempt to POS

once its not conformed coins return from stake to balance and try again

a likely reason beside being on wrong fork chain could be have a unlocked wallet and a not finished sync of blockchain

then it can happen it try top POS but it will always fail until wallet is synced up

u can ignore that entries in transaction logs

the coins that did try to stake returned to balance once their POS atempt did orphan and they kept their whole coin-age

this is a cosmetic problem

and we have on todo list a better check to not try POS until sync is finished (but at low priority)

normally all people have a password protected wallet and wouldn't unlock wallet until sync is finished

6509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ [ANN] ECCoin (ECC) ★★★ ECCoin - Green Future on: June 29, 2014, 11:18:19 AM
is there a working fork and if yes what are the addnodes?

New and improved next wallet version should just ban connections to old wallets LOL

bingo thats what we working on  Cool
beside some other trace of problem origin which we deeper analyze now

10 out of 50 connections towards my wallet are using wrong wallet version!
thats 20% old wallets in network and constant troublemakers

i send 43 DMD in cryptsy and these dont arrived in my account
ITs de Tix e7de04a854c9445ae0ebedcbb6e310b071fdc5dbe0de1a41c5e469958b76e70c
i dont understand the explorer
as I can tell if they came?

i did again a withdraw from cryptsy and coins where like 5 min later in my wallet

so the answer why deposit dont show up in ur cryptsy account can only be answered by cryptsy

trying to resync my wallet, "total estimated blocks : 443923" ?

also, its getting stuck every like 1000 blocks and i need to close and reopen my wallet to resume.

i have only connect=193.68.21.19 in my conf

Are there any other valid addnotes? this is going to be a really slow process.

its important u start from a save blockchain that sure not part of a fork and that u delete old peers.dat file

and until next wallet update please save such a blockchain u could use it every time when u forced to close wallet Sad

close wallet at the moment have high change to destroy wallet database

checking my coins i invested i see zeit seems to develop good

value is low but that doesnt matter

longterm its a survival of the fittest

dev-less and scam-coins will be sorted out and the rest will be part of upcoming crypto success story
6516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ [ANN] ECCoin (ECC) ★★★ ECCoin - Green Future on: June 28, 2014, 09:04:04 PM
does anybody know whats going on with the wallets mine has not synced for over a week now whats up??

checkpoint?
up to date addnode?
forks?

only simple coins can survive long time without dev
pos coins need a dev who take care of it

6517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★ [ANN] ECCoin (ECC) ★★★ ECCoin - Green Future on: June 28, 2014, 07:57:01 PM
longterm a community or foundation driven coin is always the way to success

single devs (or even worse some marketing guy who paid a dev to code him a coin) fail

and the most dangerous are the fresh btt account coin where a lot are build from same people with premine or ipo
and only have one idea to earn him some bucks and then he let it die and start new coin with new btt name

for ecc i see a community takeover as a big chance
but longterm u need to bind a dev not by pay him but by make him a big stakeholder

hostmaster is at least no btt account created only to create another scam coin
he is active in a lot coin threads im sure u can include him into a future community driven ECC team

its a coin added on a lot exchanges
sold at crazy low price ideal for takeover

buy in big and organize community takeover

cryptsy support tickets ending in nirvana

but bigvern himself posting in our ANN thread  Grin

thx for feedback bigvern

Viewing this:

The Money supply is stating 458032.03345200, which means 8032.03345200 coins generated in the past 2 days since PoS started. How is this possible? It seems a rather large amount for a short period of time.

i would say a rather small amount of coins and a sign the real big coin holder didnt unlock their wallets until yet for POS

thats good if not all mint at same timeframe the network protection of POS minting is spread more around the 7 days min age

i did expect up to 100000 DMD being minted in first month
but it seems much more coin-age got burned by transactions than i was thinking

please remember people are able cash in all their gathered coin-age now

450000 /2 (average coinage for around a year)
225000
- destroyed coin-age by transactions (~50%)
-------------
~100000 DMD POS rewards who wait to be minted

it seems still so many people dont understand POS and coin-age
and burn their coin-age by leave coins on exchange or transfer them around

remember u gather no coin-age for coins on exchange
once coins got transfered into ur wallet they start gather coin-age again at zero
(every transaction burns all coin-age of involved coins)

i tell people since months buy the cheap diamonds
and transfer them to ur wallets and leave them there gathering coin-age

who followed that advice should have some nice POS payouts
