How? Is it just replacing wallet.dat in the new wallet installation and withdrawing the 'old' DMD from Cryptsy to a new wallet address?

I've just downloaded the new wallet and I'm waiting for it to sync, but I'm asking before I made any stupid move and risk losing the coins!

Thanks!

use the old wallet.dat with new wallet
and transfer the dmd from cryptsy to ur old wallet adress
ur address didnt change

welcome back alt-fan at the bright side of life

I've tested all peers currently connected to my wallet. All the IPs that responded have a response time over 280ms.

What do you guys get?

60ms

Not much coins indeed. But if I lock the wallet cpu usage drops drammatically: POS is to blame ;-)

thats normal POS behavior

part of POS attempts is "hashing" (a simple version of it but still done by cpu and create cpu useage)
who is able mint the next block is same as in mining a competition
the only difference is that its can be only  donewith wallet included miner
and that the hashing power (or lets say chance to successful mint a block) is also moddified with the coin weight

the reward when u successful mint is then determined by the coin-age once u won the minting competition

Vote for Diamond DMD on

click pic or this link https://www.mintpal.com/voting#DMD

dont spend BTC for voting! (better spend btc to buy more dmd   Cool )
create a mintpal account deposite some little btc amount buy some other coins
(or deposit and sell some other coins which are traded at mintpal)
after that u able to vote each hour for free
once u did one trade on mintpal u allowed to vote each hour without need to pay

place #146 now

i set a bounty from my own wallet (not foundation)

paying 1 DMD to everyone who reached a new rank

so first one reporting #145 and walletaddress
@ http://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,16.0.html
gets 1 DMD by me (or alex if he faster and ninja rewarding again)

IMPORTANT only claim rewards on

still it would be interesting to know why u fail more than others
it could be afaik u not from europe or usa that u have not much fast responding nodes near u
and u have timing issues get ur minting confirmed before someone else successful minted?

If the issue is a timing issue isn't there something you guys could do to limit this?

Here is a list of my minting attempts; Only 8 where successful to this day out of 39 attempts:

as i said around 1% of minting attempts have to try a second time all other successful first attempt
we both use wallet 2.0.3 i am on windows u are on mac?
then we need to get feedback from someone on mac too if he have a poor minting success rate too

if not compare the latency of the peers that are connected to you

im my first tough would be true and u have high latency to your peers there is nothing we from diamond team can do to fix it

promote dmd in ur area try get some peers running with good latency for u and add them to ur addnode list

as we learn from mining latency is a factor
and its also a factor in minting
ur minting attempt is only successful if he is proagated fast enough in the network

Comments: hi coinwarez team

please forwward to ur technical staff regarding default hashrate values

thx for effort try adapt default mining watt/khash ratings based on 1000$ hardware

but i have to say u made errors with groestl

all my righs have a much better  groestl vs x11 x13  rating than ur default ratting suggest

your numbers:
x11 9000 x13 6500 groestl 11000 is normalized to factor 1.38 vs 1 vs 1.69
real life rig 3x amd 290
x11 14500 x13 9800 groestl 45000 is normalized to factor 1.47 vs 1 vs 4.5

im not sure where ur error is coming from i guess u dont used up to date mining software and gpu driver

groestl need amd catalyst 14.6 and a miner like this here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/diamonddmd/files/sgminer_diamond_v4.1.0.zip/download
to reach 15 mhash each amd290
example bat
sgminer.exe -k diamond -o localhost:17772 -u rpcuserXXXXX -p rpcpassXXXXXXXXX -o stratum+tcp://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3333 -u cryptonit.2 -p 2 --xintensity 300 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 16384 -w 256 --lookup-gap 0 --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500

this way better performance than u stated is also true for nvidia based mining with 750ti

there people report this hashrate with new ccminer 1.2 and single gtx750ti
x11 2700 x13 2100 groestl 7500 is normalized to factor  1.28 vs 1 vs 3.57

if we not go for average between amd and nividia based mining the factor is

(1.47+1.28)/2=1.37
(1+1)/2=1
(4.5+3.57)/2=4.01

so the true factor on ur defaut setting should be

x11 (6500x1.37)=8900 (so here u pretty close)
x13 (6500x1)=6500
groestl (6500x4.01)=26000

please update ur default hashrate like this or at least let ur technicans verify my numbers u will find out ur bad groestl performance have reason old driver and miner

answer from them:

Hello,

I passed this information on to the tech that confirms hash rates.  That said, this is wonderful information you have provided us and I was wondering if you can point us to a forum post that we would monitor for future reference.

Thanks!

@ coinwarz team

thx that u fast respond to user feedback!
but as u know do such tests on regulary base is very time consuming
u have to scan market for mining hardware driver and mining software permanently to keep it accurate

my time is bound for diamond foundation tasks i cant offering repeat this tests regulary
but  if we dedect again groestl algo rating is way underrated we will tell ya again

br cryptonit

(the numbers on coinwarz default hashrating for compare algo hasher each 1000€ mining gear are still wrong i expect them to run own tests on all algos not only the 3 that are  included in my short tests. basical i understand their aim of new default hashrating as a atempt to defend scrypt and promote scrypte asic mining gear.........)

Our wallet is offline while we update to the latest version.
It should be back online soon.

seen at cryptsy seems they care and update to 2.0.3 now
without us even asking them (because not mandatory)

sad to see groestlcoin suffer that hard
i hope it recover

i suggest following to regain trust of whole groestl algo coin family

stop with closed source and limited pool miner policy of grs-sgminer
reenter talks with diamond regarding a merging mining project

whenever u can vote please

we got feedback from mintpal they use even after september the voting behavior as one of the points to consider if new coins get added

all they change is that coins get not a gurantee to be added just by being on place 1 on voting list

Hmm, isn't Danbis Pool at 0% fee?
And Minepit has payouts after every 1 DMD confirmed, not every minute.

Maybe it's time to clean up among the pool links on bit.diamonds, just as it has been done here in this thread. Links to Omargpools, Cryptofrenzy and Noncepool are still there, but Minepit is missing. But I guess that you're already aware of this since you changed it in this thread.

Yes it does not much good for Diamond's appearance if incorrect info is on website and cryptsy info page ...
Numerous spelling errors also need to be corrected on website if we are to be a professional coin Smiley

danbi's pool is 0% but we try to "force" him match his pool fees to the lowest fee of active alternative pools
which would in the moment the 0.75% of minep.it

a lot pool owner said the cant open a pool because danbi run a foundation supported 0% pool
we want to react and make sure danbi pool have no advantage against pools not owned by foundation members
(that he is a great guy and have as only one set up a pushpool for alternate mining software should be advantage enought no 0% fee needed)

regarding website errors please report them via PM to popshot the kind of the webpage

OK thanks I'm on Danbi's now ...
How to turn off the annoying block found bell Huh

Some alarming news:
Quote
Today, the crypto world saw one if it's biggest thefts. Over 30% of all Vericoin, around $2m, was stolen from MintPal- compromising the entire network.

You can read both official statements, one from the Vericoin developers and one from MintPal here:
https://support.mintpal.com/index.php?module=announce&sec=view&id=17
http://www.vericoin.info/downloads/Statement.pdf

fixed with hardfork and make the steal transactions be on bad fork
well done mintpal and vericoin

imagine cryptsy have to deal with such a thing.....

a reason more to vote DMD onto mintpal

And not trying to burst your bubble, but there are other coins who use similar reward systems, namely Ela coin. Please leave and go annoy them. Thank you!

ok thats a valid argument
it seems similar idea

so klemen didnt steal my idea the order to code it was coming from aidbit
because they learned about this mechanism from another coin which i didnt even know
and that u are working on a charity based coin while we have such one also in work is also a random similarity

ok this explains why a possible copy of the idea of us was done so wrong regarding the charity mechanism of coin Smiley

vger888 klemen im still not 100% sure but if its true i say sorry for call u steal ideas

leave us without a word is still enought u cut all connections

wish ya the best
