I will try to mine this coin and see how it will perform. wrong logic if a coin become cheaper or not is not determined by the effectiveness of ur miner value is determined by supply and demandthe amount (supply) of new coins generated each day is always the same no matter how effective ur miners are only diff is raising who earns how much from that daily coins could change if some people upgrade to more effective miners and others dont but again that have no influence on total supply of new coins on market |

For pow solo mining, Do I have to unlock my wallet or something? or do any other changes inside the dmd wallet? I am trying to solo mine with the diamond kernel, no blocks until now. Might be bad luck  use the unlock for minting button i wasted a night of mining too forgot to unlock 20 stale blocks...... so avoid this i always suggest use a new wallet without password for mining and once a day transfer the earned coins to ur main wallet |

we dont need ur miners  attracting more insta-selling people what would that add to a coin? but every investor or miner who hold coins is helping yes regarding dmd/grs merged mining i see srcxxx removed the bounty from your ANN posting so i guess their priorities changed we from diamond foundation are still open for talks in that area but our last contacts did look like we have different ideas about how to realize it |

I've succesfully compiled the headless wallet on my QNAP NAS (arm processor).
It wasn't trivial, the wallet code assumes x86 in some places.
Devs let me know if you are interested in which changes I made for arm compatibility.
i think its not only interesting for dev but anyone who try achieve that or a similar goal i suggest once new source is released and u repeat that u supply a "howto compile diamondDD on QNAP NAS" which we add to our github as a guide thx for your effort to explore new possible plattforms to run diamond onto |

no project diamond foundation will be involved is short-term or have only the goal to reach xy value and then sell coins and be happy to leave with profit while other who didnt sell at spike are left behind with a dead coin highly prefered would be a community take over ITC development diamond foundation taking over would only be a possible scenario in far future ( sure not next few months) and IF we take over it would include modify coin specs towards hybrid POW/POS and merged mining with diamond a partnership would also be possible if community take over ITC development we could support them with implementing hybrid POW/POS and merged mining with diamond but first of all give original dev team a few weeks more time there is no hurry coins without dev can run nearly endless if wallet code is stable example emerald coin which is headless since ages |

u can get a decent amount of ITC for low invest
and even if dev would have left coin a possible takeover could also easy pay of
its only 70million coins
its clearly a high risc investment but
even with a small investment u can buy a pretty big share of coins

worst case if after a few months no news from dev or a community takeover happens
diamond foundation could adopt the coin and add it to our diamond merge mine family
could be easy archived by change a few coin specs and transform it into a hybrid pos/pow groestl algo coin
not that we feel forced to save any coin but we could save a few hand selected ones and ITC could be one of it
if no love from dev team or a community takeover is happening
ITC have some value for takeover listed on good marketplaces and basical not a bad setup and coin distribution

Hi, I have the version 2.0.1.0 of the wallet. Send one week ago some diamonds to Cryptsy and still nothing. On my wallet say Unconfirmed. Maybe someone can tell me whats happening? Also 5 of my diamonds went unconfirmed without advice  Thanks in advance Have you tried starting the wallet with 'repairwallet or savagewallet' flags? They go through the blockchain and try to rebuild it it helped me a few times to 'claim' my coins back (different coins). If in Windows, use Command Prompt /cmd/ , go to the folder you have your wallet-qt executable file and launch the software with one of the above flags e.g. " diamond-qt.exe -repairwallet " if then first one doesn't help, use the other one. The error reported by the other user is not related to your case + I doubt Cryptsy would know anything about your coins. Hope that helps. Thanks but it didnt work... someone else with other idea? This is what I get with my regular wallet that is supposedly NOT on testnet, and is supposedly connected to the working network.  this error message is a sign of broken local blockchain database wait for new wallet and resync blockchain the rare error that was able to corrupt lokal database is one of the fixed issues u should never suffer again from this problem with new wallet |

some technical detail about the POS implementation we did: Staking starts at age of 7 days. In order to stake something at that age, it has to be (very) large amount, so it is split in two smaller (half) amounts during the stake.
This happens until age of 30 days, again, with the assumption that these are large amounts. Sometimes, a small amount might stake between 7 and 30 days.
Amounts older than 30 days will be grouped, up to 100 DMD to increase their chance to stake.
With increasing coin age the possibility to stake successful is increasing so even for people with very low amount of DMD will be able sooner or later earn their POS rewards.
There is no upper limit on coin age that can be staked.

phase one with internal testing is finished we now in phase two (beta test) with people who applied until yet everything looks nice once beta finished and we adapted wallet with all feedback (until yet just minor findings like old version number in a pic and such things) we will prepare release wallet a announcement with details and release date will be made early enough wallet update will be mandatory but everyone have at least two weeks time to update wallet (as we learned form cryptsy last time they need that time....) |
