1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from the fullest dip on: March 22, 2019, 11:26:17 PM
The crash will teach alot of people a bitter lesson and they will learn from it,
they will learn the following

1. Never to love a coin

2. Never to be greedy

3. To cashout on profit always

4. To stop following hype

5. To know that what goes up must come down etc

Smart people can master everything from the list you listed on their own. Before investing you need to evaluate all the risks. This is what helps then not to regret the loss.

I think sometimes it is even hard for the smart ones and that’s why nobody is perfect

You can have the correct information and still fall short
Which is why ah investor cannot relent
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: March 22, 2019, 11:23:42 PM
I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

Yes shitcoim will always disappoint
It is bound to fail due to unnecessary hypes; pump and dump schemes and other atrocities of devs

But as an investor that’s why you need to get information yourself
Always
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOPE FOR SHIT COIN on: March 22, 2019, 11:22:04 PM
Hello

Please i want make a quick inquire please. can there be any possible hope a shit coin to come back alive. i participated on an ICO that are responsible for reinventing dead coins. the project is known as coin janitor. they believed that there are tokens that are good but was closed down due some factors like market dump or no finance which lead to the demise of the token.
Could there be any means by which a dead coin can be resurrected again ?

Just as you have rightly said “Hope”
That’s the only option left

Because no one invests in a dead project
And even pump and dump whales won’t dump a dead project
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be deceived... on: March 21, 2019, 07:55:26 PM
It is good to be hopeful but reality be told
We are still far from the bullish or bull run so you need to be carefully watch after your portfolio
If you have a portfolio from 2017; then am not sure how long you are going to wait for profit
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hard Cap on: March 21, 2019, 07:49:12 PM
Is it normal that an ICO has a Hard Cap of 72 million dollar? And as of now I cant find the total supply of the coin so that I can compute the total supply and the value per coin, and I guess they should also put the total supply in their site. What do you think?

That’s a lot of money for a hardcap
But what project are referencing ?
You should find the contract on etherscan to vet the total supply of the coin
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when your coin spikes? on: March 21, 2019, 07:46:26 PM
I'm just looking for the opinions of others really, there's no right or wrong answer to this question.
What do you do when a coin you're holding suddenly jumps up by like 30% or whatever? do you try to sell at the peak of that spike and buy them back once it's gone back down again? or do you just keep on hodling?

The joy of a spiked coin is unexpressable and i don’t think a large percentage of investors can always sell at the peak of a spiked price

So whenever you are in profit, cash out your profit
Then move on
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: March 20, 2019, 04:31:38 PM
I don’t think any token or any icos needs protections of any kind
Because  on the market scale; there is no preferential treatment except for shit coins that does pumps and dumps

So always cash in at the right time
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: March 20, 2019, 04:21:23 PM
Thank you for making this thread. I think many bounty hunters now feels motivated and inspired to do more hardwork and patiently wait for a good turn on their bounty campaign. By this, many would double their work in spite of the market's situation, in the long run the patience of holding coins of the bounty hunters would result into a much more profit.

I think it is not only about having the right spirit and courage to work
You also need to find the strength and Patience to dyor always before promoting any crypto currency project
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTT trick or treat? on: March 20, 2019, 04:13:44 PM
Are you watching the progress of BTT? What do you think of it? Does it have a future on long and short term?

Yes I’m observing the progress of BitTorrent and we can’t conclude yet on its future

But on the short term, it’s both a trick and also a treat
If you are smart and can cash out quick; it’s a treat

If you land at loss; it’s a trick
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency market types on: March 18, 2019, 08:39:48 AM
I think that now we can start buying coins a little. It seems that the trend change will come soon.

You can buy crypto currency tokens every time
But you need to buy different tokens at different times

And you can figure that out by doing your own research and getting up to date information before your investment choices
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: March 18, 2019, 08:36:06 AM
If you don’t take risk at the maximum and trade at certain points, you risk never making profits and stuck with shit coins or dumped tokens

But with the right risk pattern, you get more profits than loss
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can some fraudulent people be discouraged from using cryptocurrency ? on: March 18, 2019, 08:31:01 AM
Before I joined crypto space, I used to watch some series where cryptocurrency is used as a payment for business there.
So I was wondering what is this cryptocurrency till I joined last year.
I have come to understand the reason why these people use cryptocurrency as a medium of payment.
1. It's easier to conceal large sum of money with cryptocurrency.
2. There's no way of tracking or tracing the funds directly to the owner of the wallet in real life.
3. It's actually a safe means of doing payment since you have no need carrying large sums with you.
I frown at number 2 and I ask if there's a way to link one's wallet to his or her real life address?

Well, fraudulent activities are existent in all aspects of life
So with crypto currency bringing easy means of payment across the world

So it’s easy to move millions of dollars through crypto currency by just buying bitcoin
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: March 15, 2019, 08:48:09 PM
There are still so much great projects that are only at the beginning of their way. Ethereum, EOS, TRON, XLM all those crypto currencies are going to change the world with their revolutionary ideas, just give them some time.

Yes I agree with you, we have so many developing blockchain platforms that will evolve the Blockchain system
There’s still waves platform and the Neo too

And with ico persistent survival, we can still expect more bull before the bull run commences
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns going into extinction? on: March 15, 2019, 08:45:02 PM
It is a well known fact that bounty hunters  are likened to promotional  arm of any ico projects.
They create awareness about these projects and get paid for their jobs.
So now that IEO seems to be the trend ...... Binance has carried out 2 successful IEO on it's platform and Bittrex did theirs today.
I have come to realize that none of this projects conducted any bounty campaigns.
If IEO eventually beats ICOs, that would mean the extinction of bounty campaigns.
Should bounty hunters be worried over this?
Why are this projects not conducting bounty campaigns?
Please I need an enlightenment.
Than you.

Your worries are understandable and I have same fears
But after few researches I have come to understand that both ieo and ico and stos will co exist
And none will go to extinct
Plus ico iss still the best and most appreciated and projects will always need bounty hunters to market their product
1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: March 15, 2019, 08:43:37 PM
I could call IEO an ICO with guarantee, we will atleast be free of those scammer developers and I'm sure bog exchanges like binance won't tolerate any scammers so IEO is really a safe HAVEN for investors now

Yes this is one every investor had hoped for until the recent troubles with bittrex and raid project
The first bittrex Ieo was canceled due to several irregularities from the project developers

And yes ieo makes you safe but not totally safe
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: March 14, 2019, 02:09:37 PM
With recent happenings in crypto currency regarding token sale,
i think icos are beginning to find their feet because binance conducting the crowdfunding event for BitTorrent and Fetch.AI has raised the hyped again.

And now, Bittrex has also announced a crowdfunding event too, an IEO,

so can you give your opinion on whether IEO or ICO will survive on the long run

This is an addition, there are news now that the ieo scheduled for bittrex exchange (Raid project) has faked partnership

Is this a sign that ieo is not here to stay ?
Will situations like this affect the reputation of bittrex exchange ??
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: March 14, 2019, 10:26:58 AM
all your wrong actions in the cryptocurrency market is an invaluable experience that will greatly help you in the future

Yes you are right but it only becomes an invaluable experience when you apply the lessons and the knowledge learnt into your activities as a trader, an investor or a bounty hunter.
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO IS WAY BETTER on: March 14, 2019, 10:20:28 AM
IEO (initial exchange offering) is better than ICO,to participate in any IEO you have to be a member on the exchange launching the IEO ,this are my reasons

1)IEO is safer and better than ICO because its not what anyone can just conduct ,to conduct an IEO the project teams must meet and comply with the exchanges requirements in order to launch the token sale .

2)contributors are protected by the exchange, why? Many big exchanges offering the IEO now are after there reputations so its not easy to launch IEO through them,if the project before them is not genuine enough the exchanges won't dare take the risk.

I think this is what many investors have been waiting for , better risk limiting investment ,IEO is the only way to go
,don't forget ,DYOR ,thank you

Just few days ago, I learnt from this forum that ieo is not different from ico
The difference is just that an exchange platform aliases with a project and host their crowdfunding event

Such projects only use the hype from the exchange reputation to get sales and investors; and sorry to say such investor would only dump upon listing

1519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Damages dumping creates on: March 14, 2019, 10:14:36 AM
I think there is a way to fix this dumping problem plaguing crypto space ,its very annoying to see dumpers dumping coins or tokens at a very lower price than that of the ICO price ,dumping kills coins easily ,I think developers should have some kind of deals with exchanges that won't allow people to dump coins at a particular price ,what are your thought?

Projects can’t have any deal with exchanges to control price because even exchange platforms have several bots that would make you sell too low if you are new to trading

Dumping is actually a good thing for investors , because you get to buy back at a very low price, wait for A rumor and then you  sell the news at a higher price
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP IS BITCONNECT 2.0 on: March 13, 2019, 01:12:52 PM
Xrp Changed name earlier known as ripple was bought from JED McCALEB after it was sold to chris larsen & brad garlinhouse they started promoting it and got involved with all fake developments of the Ripple and then Ripple was separated from the blockchain to call it XRP this scam was involved with over 50 billion XRP premined tokens after the promotion when the token finally started getting some value the company Ripple started selling its token in open market and OTC to fund their company RIPPLE and make new softwares to promote ripple but entirely everything was made for RIPPLE and to their own benefits nothing was created for XRP which was left in dust.. the company has been selling premined tokens and promoting Xcurrent to tokens to rival SWIFT
Brad garlinhouse and chris larsen are big scammers i call this bitconnect 2.0

I don’t like the comparison to bitconnect at all
Because ripple is a more stable coin with bigger tendencies and appreciating partnerships as well
Bitconnect is a mere ponzi

So ripple is not bitconnect
