The only other premine was the IGNIS premine in 2018 which was 50% of the supply, from which the majority were sold in a second ICO (for ARDR or NXT, I don't remember well). IGNIS however crashed pretty fast in 2018, so while I guess they made some money with that, it also were not big amounts compared to other ICOs of that time.

Jelurida actually made a a lot of money from the Ignis ICO.

They admit to making over 15M from the ICO alone.

This doesn't count the NXT/ARDR/IGNIS pump ... a lot of the ICO was paid in NXT, which conveniently had like a 10x runup (against btc) right after the ICO ended.

They made out like bandits.

What site at the moment can you buy/sell beancash?  I assume what i see on coinmarketcap is incorrect right?

Coinmarketcap is useless for Bean ... it lists yobit with an unknown amount of volume due to the fact yobit's bean wallet has been broken for years.

Coingecko may give you a better picture -- and unfortunately it's not a pretty picture. And btcpop at least used to offer bean, not sure how much volume it has nowadays.

Jelurida has decided to get seriously into gambling business as it "is set to launch an on-chain version of the bridge, the strategy card game." I was surprised to learn that Triffic is also hosted  on Ardor platform. Ardor is  about to become a gear for p2p gambling? I would only support such move, this a chance to get traction again.

I thought it was more of a platform/reward system for Bridge, not that they were going to set it up as a gambling platform?

As for whether any of it matters... I expect not. It's a step above 'chesscoin' as Jelurida has a Bridge partner, but it's not exactly earth-shattering news there. I wasn't aware of a huge Bridge community out there all clamoring for a crypto on-chain version of the game.

Current price of beancash now?  i check coinmarketcap but not sure if its accurate?  Which exchange do you use to buy/sell beancash now?

There is no real liquidity --

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bean-cash#markets

I see it going for 1 sat over at btcpop... which isn't a good sign.

You can use the lite wallet, so you won't have to worry about the full blockchain.

all the 'devs' in the whole nxt community of 'awesome shitcoin tech' are a joke, and all these failed projects just continue to prove that.  mind you their intensions (and maybe the tech) are still better than alllll the scamcoin devs and allll the bullshit ETH erc20/defi bullshit.

Just a tip, if you want to go after ardor choose the absolutely horrible marketing (basically none) or idiotic approach the lead dev has taken for the coin. The coin basically is 3 years too late ... it's made for the ICO craze and to compete with ETH. There obviously is no ICO craze anymore and it lost the ETH battle pretty much from the start.

The tech is interesting, but barely anyone uses the coin. The price has been pounded for nearly 3 years straight, and pretty much any movement now can be attributed solely to pump/dumps.

No need to bring up nxt, as that is truly dead. I have no clue why they didn't retire that chain when they did their airdrop years ago for it. Eh, reminds me, other troll fodder would be is absolutely shady airdrop/ico from the 2017 timeperiod ... nxt holders got destroyed (well, pretty much any holders from back then did)... I sometimes wonder if Jeleurida's lowkey approach is because they want to lay low from any SEC eyeballs. Their ICO was after the DAO stuff...

Anyway, see how that works better than just throwing out shitcoin or dead or whatever?

haha bro 100%...yes...but....i am to lazy and do not care enough to resort to having to type all that.  those are good reasons to prove how shit it is so thank you.  i'm sure there are plenty more.  people (i would fucking hope) should have KNOWN this BY NOW though.  if not..../facepalm.   They would if joining into any of these group of coins "communities" for sure ahahahahhahaaaahaha.  but yeah...sometimes we have to let ppl figure out for themselves too.  i can at least advise it is shit...give some basic reasons, but up to ppl to DYOR to figure out why.  better they see for themselves than 'believe' some random asshole on the internet, right? lol

Pretty sure crypto has evolved to the point where random comments in a forum won't really impact price or buyers/sellers anymore. Well, beyond the: "Hey, the entire market just crashed 50% or the devs all left the scene' .. types of threads. But just normal bashing is kind of meaningless.

And although my comments above are negative, I wouldn't really classify ARDR as a shitcoin. A shitcoin has NOTHING going for it, no real development, no possible use at all. ARDR is better than that.

They just have really messed up in regard to marketing + real world use.  Then again, so has most of the crypto scene.

Honestly most coins are pretty much useless. It's all about timing the markets. So I wouldn't tell anyone to buy or sell ARDR... I'd simply say be careful about timing, it's very prone to dumps.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors Rejoice As Bitcoin Price Surges Above $10,000 on: July 27, 2020, 04:39:53 PM
What's there to rejoice about? What about those who invested when Bitcoin was at 19000$ in 2017? It's not time to start rejoicing yet, right now we need better an stronger market support, DeFi success I believe is at work here, new money flow into crypto through DeFi, I'm hoping more will come
Good point but that's a special case. At least for them, if they haven't sold during the bear markets, they have recovered a lot from that crash. Although in reality, there's still halfway of their money to hold until the price of bitcoin goes back to that price where they bought. But there's no need to cut the fun, everybody is having fun as we have breached the $10,000 again. I guess you could spare them for a moment and just enjoy the time that we're having.

Sometimes I feel like I'm living in an alternate reality -- where I can see BTC doing these 'out of the blue' mini-pumps basically puts the brake on the entire altcoin market, but others somehow overlook this and now go into rejoice mode because BTC made some baby steps upwards? Most alts turn to a sea of red and not just against BTC, but against fiat as well ... coins that were recovering some of their multi-year crushed prices get smushed back again... coins that were pumping instead crash back down to earth... trading becomes complexly boring once more, where altcoin trading is like trading on a platform of quicksand, can collapse at any time due to the whims of a sporadic BTC.

So not so sure what investors are rejoicing about exactly. BTC is still way below ATH numbers, most of the altcoin market is still a disaster, and coins that were taking small steps towards 'okay' numbers get stepped on again.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 19, 2020, 03:07:24 AM
Launch Date For Ethereum 2.0 Testnet to be Announced Monday so I guess we are finally going to get a release date for the Ethereum 2.0 testnet. Waited too long hopefully no more delay.

Seems kind of silly though to make an announcement about a future announcement of a testnet release... which simply means it'll still be like 4 months (if it works) before phase 0 of a multi-year process to get to 2.0.

It'd be like an author making a pre-announcement about the date he plans to announce the font he is choosing to use when writing his book. I guess it at least means progress is being made, but still, seems kind of underwhelming.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: July 17, 2020, 04:55:34 PM

lmao yet another altcoin expert here, keep your hopes and dreams alive friend.  i've been more in and out of coins to speak of so don't give me any shit about what's good and bad.  i'm doing just fine thanks.

meanwhile any crap u speak, just wait and see Wink

I'm not claiming to be an expert. And for all we know, Aidos Kuneen actually zips up the rankings and does well.

I was just calling out your troll behavior, which again, looking through your history can be sometimes amusing, but just seems weird in this day and age. That was more of a 2014/15 thing around here.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: July 16, 2020, 06:41:40 PM
deeeaaaaddd

Your shtick can be somewhat amusing, although I can't imagine the amount of free time you have to go around to basically every single altcoin in existence and throw out such well thought out criticisms as 'dead' and 'shit' ... a zillion times. Folks should just look through your posting history, it's truly ridiculous.

For a dead coin, Ardor actually has been showing a pulse lately. Austria is going to use it for a covid/emergency notification app, and the BBB just partnered up with them for a donation platform.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/charity-giant-behind-giveorg-launches-a-blockchain-donation-platform

Which isn't too shabby when you look at big coins and adoption so far ... I think Cardano is mostly just tracking sneakers. But no coin of course can compare to the mighty Aidos Kuneen, ranked 300+, and on such stellar exchanges as Whitebit and Exrates, which for some odd reason you seem gung-ho about.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][market]★ISKRA(CCOH)★Children&Diamonds💎 on: July 16, 2020, 02:47:22 AM

Why listing on an exchange like you said "bottom" if you can't sell there? Because no one will buy it!  Huh
It's a waste of time and money and a risk of losing assets.

You can sell on stock exchanges that have a listing. Exchanges that have been tested by a team.
As we have already said, we aim at bittrex, but after launching our payment system, "ISKRA" can become a full trading instrument.

Because those bottom-feeder exchanges are a step up from your current situation, Whitebit -- it's a scam exchange that also requires KYC -- so basically it's a chance to scammed multiple ways. Most can't sell there either because it'd be idiotic to give that exchange personal info.

Again, BTCPOP is considered reputable (generally speaking), inexpensive to list on, and although low volume, it'd probably be not any worse than what you have now. I am seeing the coin currently has a daily volume of a mighty $331, so it's not like extra exchanges will hurt at this point.

Nice to dream big with Bittrex... but somehow that doesn't exactly seem realistic to me if BTCPOP is too pricey for you.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][market]★ISKRA(CCOH)★Children&Diamonds💎 on: July 14, 2020, 06:31:33 PM
Are the devs for this coin still around at all?
Curious if they plan to get the coin on any other exchanges?

Topic seems to be abandoned, as OP was here almost month ago.

Latest news - CCOH got delisted from P2PB2B (due to technical problems). Read more from their telegram channel.

I don't keep track of their telegram channel, but did notice they posted something on twitter a couple of weeks ago. So had hoped they were sorta, kinda, still around.

I see no reason why they couldn't get the coin on another dinky exchange or two. Crex, or yobit, or something like that. They are lousy exchanges, but at least they may be exchanges folks sometimes use.

Hey.
We're here and we're always on air.
The team works all the time. The stock exchanges you offer do not meet our requirements, but want too high a listing fee!
We've written more than once that "ISKRA" is not speculation, and we have no goal to create a fake capitalization!
The team has completed a universal payment plugin that can be integrated into any website and any business can take crypto for its services or goods.
At the moment the final tests and checks are in progress. With our plugin any legitimate business can accept crypto in any country (where allowed), but it will not interact with crypto (it does not need registration and license to process crypto). Our plugin does everything automatically.Business will always get money for its goods or services in the currency it wants!
Follow the news and take care of yourself (covid-19).

Well, you are definitely avoiding speculation, seeing as the coin really can't be traded anywhere.

The exchanges I listed are considered bottom of the barrel ... worst of the worst exchanges... yet if you can't afford those, not sure what exchanges you can get the coin on.

And I realize you want to use the coin for business and goods, but without an easy way to exchange to fiat -- somewhere -- most merchants won't be so interested.

Maybe take a look at:

BTCPOP (1000 USD listing fee)

Another unknown, barely used exchange, but they at least seem to be honest (based on what I have read).
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason for Energi (NRG) going down on: February 21, 2020, 08:13:33 PM
Simple answer is:

Annual Reward: 11.89%

Masternode Reward: 46.50%

Those coins need to go somewhere, which typically means selling pressure.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason for Energi (NRG) going down on: February 20, 2020, 06:51:22 AM
I think it can happen because Energy will update to Gen 3 but Coinomi doesn't support the upgrade, there is already an article link that discusses it. And maybe another factor is the Circulating Supply that is getting more and more, I don't remember how much they issue supplies every month.

Staking rewards are crazy for that coin, if I recall correctly. So with that high a supply, folks probably will dump their stakes as they roll in, hence lowering prices. Eventually (or maybe even now) it will become a problem, and look more like a pyramid coin -- those who got in early and sold during spikes, will have done fine. Those left holding will run into an issue due to simply too many coins out there.

Not saying this as fud nor to scare anyone, and perhaps it'll do a nice run post 3.0. But I recall looking into this one a while ago and it just didn't add up to me ... looked like a coin destined for problems unless they changed their staking rewards, just too many coins being pumped out there.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: January 22, 2020, 07:33:40 PM
I have a hard time believing this story that you have sold the house for crypto investment. But if you did, my opinion would be to invest at least one part in Bitcoin. (40%)

For the most part it worked out
free online picture upload

Pretty sure it was established earlier in this thread (by his older posts) that the OP never really invested in those coins. Or ever had a house to begin with.

But I do find it interesting how he'd actually be in profit, and his choices were better than simply investing into BTC at the time. It's a good lesson actually -- sometimes it's not all about BTC and specific coins matter much less than timing. Time things right, and even junk (not that those coins are junk) can make a ton of money.

Thread actually reminds me of the troll threads from years ago. Where someone would state they sold their house or fortune for BTC or DASH, or whatever, and comment after its price just crashed. OP would be "Oh, woe is me!" ... others would go on about risk and bad decisions. Then wait a couple of months and all of a sudden we notice that if the OP actually had done this 'foolish purchase', he'd be way into profit.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum after hard fork Istanbul on: January 08, 2020, 11:23:30 PM
Maybe other participants of the forum will try to dissuade me from buying this coin?

Since you asked for it, here you are:
For me all investments in PoS coins were a disappointment. All this happened before 2018.
And it makes sense. Just imagine, for Ethereum: in the past 2 years whoever wanted to accumulate, had plenty of opportunities to buy. After becoming PoS all these whales will have free coins to dump/sell.
Will this make the price rise or fall?  Wink

Won't the move to POS be somewhat in slow motion though? Meaning we are talking about 1-3 years... so for the first stage, those who want to get into POS will have to lock up their coins (probably for around a year). So they can't dump their stakes even if they want to.

Assuming they stick with that plan, to me it could play out as an initial rise in price, but expect a dump once coins are released... or possibly a dump somewhat pre-release, as it may get priced in.

If we are talking about logical moves, that is. With crypto who knows, ETH could dump to nothing based on Vitalik sneezing.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitBean is Now Bean Cash | First v3 POS | First 20MB Max Blocks | 3+ Yrs. on: December 27, 2019, 09:41:32 PM

Well my wallet is synced how often is sprouting and why isn't it sprouting.  Do I need to go to sprout lake ha ha I wouldn't do that do anyone.  Any way I have 74,000 or so beans is that not enough to sprout?  How do I enable sprouting or maybe someone can send me the .0022 bitcoin back this is kind of cruel I think if I have to wait a month to get out of this it seems its all rather cruel.  Can someone give me some support or advice?  How do I sprout?  I have the windows wallet fully synced.

With that amount, maybe expect 1 sprout every couple of weeks. But at 2 sats, who really cares? 2000 sats isn't exactly worth this hassle, is it? Even if your PC sips electricity, I'd have to think it'll cost more to keep your pc on all the time than whatever 2000 sats are worth.

My advice, just sell at 2 (if you can) and take a loss, or put in a sell order at 3-4 and hope some day it hits.

We are talking about $15 worth of coin. If that's a lot to you, you probably shouldn't be playing with crypto to begin with. Just consider it lost money, do some baby-size trades, or just convert it to doge and forget about it ... wait for doge to one day do its pump thing.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitBean is Now Bean Cash | First v3 POS | First 20MB Max Blocks | 3+ Yrs. on: December 24, 2019, 02:14:18 AM

Well my wallet wont even sync I sent beancash.org a email can you help me update the blockchain its been about 5 days it still wont sync. I need instructions to enable staking and masternode to get 60% more so I get my 15 dollars back.

You can try their private chat, see if someone can help you there. There are some tips in the download section on getting the wallet synced ... they used to offer a blockchain snapshot to speed up the process, but checking now and I don't see it anymore.

I don't think bitbean even does the masternode thing, do they? Is that something new? They do have staking, but payout isn't a whole lot unless you own a ton of beans.

With the small amount you have, I'd say just put in a sell order at 3-4 and hope for the best. Or swap it over to doge if you can find favorable prices.

Well I surpassed 1.7 million blocks and wallet still wont sync so how can I send my beans to a exchange since its my windows wallet.  Its hard to tell when my sister is being honest or insulting me cuz I have got some terrible pm's in the past.  Is this really a scam I can't even get my beans to unamed.exchange that is a good idea unless someone would just want to give me my .0022 bitcoin back but where is the fun in that I suppose.  And why when someone says " Wallet Games " do I think people are talking about nico.  I am not up for any games at the moment I think I have sufficient blocks downloaded is someone interfering with my wallet?  staking is on but I cant use my balance and the bean logo appeared with a arrow is that good?

P.S. I can't do 10-27's or 10-29's on people with texan plates if your being serious or joking at the moment.

No clue what you are referring to with texan plates, your sister or wallet games.

But I recall that wallet taking ages to sync. If it's moving, give it a couple of days. If it's stopped completly, go to the download section of the site and try some of the tips mentioned there, and worst case restart it from scratch.

The coin isn't a scam (or at least wasn't) in regard to a working wallet. That should work, although no clue as to the health of their network currently. I'm also not quite sure why you sent your coins from an exchange to an un-synced wallet, but apparently you did. Anyway, if the wallet is still moving, just let it be, eventually it'll get there.
