1  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: June 25, 2018, 07:33:02 PM
If you are a loyal citizen you will pay taxes. You can't expect from governments to enable you  health care, infrastructure, education and all benefits in community without paying taxes. All that should be financed from somwhere.
Very often people look at paying taxes just like giving something to the state and they always forget what they are getting in return.
And when bitcoin is involved don't forget that you also have to pay taxes, not on the coins in wallet itself but on transactions when you exchange it or if you run some bitcoin business.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: June 24, 2018, 06:59:33 PM
I don't agree that bitcoin will kill itself. It fully depends on the users and only they can define the destiny of bitcoin.
It's not the first time that bitcoin is going through rough time and probably there will be even worse but it always survives and so it will be this time too.
And only market can tell if the growth is too high and what happens next. People just don't have enough patience and have too big expectations.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ? on: June 16, 2018, 05:19:23 PM
Bitcoin is first among virtual currencies for the amount of investment and probably it will remain so. It's stil the most profitable and people trust it.
On the other side there are also many fiat currencies that people invest and that have appeared long time before bitcoin so this figures will be very hard to catch. This would also require some biger changes in economy and this will not happen easy.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will get legitimacy in all countries? on: June 10, 2018, 12:38:37 PM
World wide regulation would bring bitcoin legitimacy and enable it to get deeper into economy and business which would contribute to further growth and expansion.
But I'm not sure that this project of global regulation will be successful because it's hard to expect that all countries would get alligned regarding question of ful regulation.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does war affect the price of bitcoin? on: April 24, 2018, 07:29:09 PM
I suppose you think at war in Syria. Or maybe elswhere? Anyway, I don't think that politics and war affect the bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies in any way, at least not at the moment. Cryptocurrencies are not that under influence of the world politics like fiat money is and that is actualy a good thing.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of Bitcoin's value to be zero on: April 21, 2018, 06:18:59 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will come to value of zero. But at first place that will determine market and the users. As long as there are people who use and support bitcoin the value will not be zero. I beleive that bitcoin destiny is fully determined by its users.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Serious, I Started To Worry...... on: April 01, 2018, 09:15:27 AM
There is nothing to worry about, I don't know why everyone behaves like it's the end of the world. It's a price correction that comes from time to time, it's natural process connected to bitcoin volatility. Use this opportunity to buy more bitcoin instead of spreading drama.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: March 26, 2018, 12:53:22 PM
And what is exactly the ground for such claim?
I can't see any. To my opinion this is a pure speculation that could only bring panic among users and this is the last thing we need. The price is moving around 8000$ for a while now and I don't think some biger changes will happen in any way, so I don't expect some biger fall but not also some biger rise.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2018, 09:41:44 AM
Neither. The best way to get bitcoins is to earn them.
But if you have to choose between buying and mining choose buying because mining isn't profitable anymore. At least not for an individual except you have some mining farm and cloud mining services are not trustworthy. Too much money, energy and efforts lost for a minimum result. Put your funds together and buy some bitcoins it's better idea. Of course if you don't have any other option to earn the coins.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction For 2018 To 2020 on: March 25, 2018, 12:55:26 PM
I would be very careful with predictions for the price in two years period. For a bitcoin this is a long time because market is changing very quickly, I would say faster than before and it can't be predicted in what direction situation will develope.
We have already touched 20000$ so it looks like this would be easy to reach again and I think we will but maybe this time we would have to wait longer. But once we'll be there again further progress would go easier.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: March 25, 2018, 11:49:10 AM
Bitcoin can reduce unemployment but only on an individual basis and without some formal registration of such figures because most of bitcoin related jobs are not registered anywhere. This is still not formal economy and by trading bitcoin or performing some services paid in bitcoin people are helping themselves but in the eye of formal authorities they remain unemployed.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KYCs (Know your Client) is killing crypto on: March 25, 2018, 07:14:32 AM
To my opinion there are two aspects of KYC regarding crypto.
At one side it's not so good for users of cryptocurrencies because they expect privacy, what they didn't have with fiat. There is no absolute privacy but still some amount of anonimity when you use crypto is present.
On the other hand KYC can help to protect from different types of scam so this is the good side. And everyone who don't have attention to performe something illegal don't have to fear KYC.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Bitcoin, Life Will Be Boring! on: March 25, 2018, 02:03:35 AM
Indeed, life without bitcoin would be boring but also less stresful. All this changes in the prica and on the market always give a thrill and excitement  and when I remember the feeling when checking the price after investment is made.
I think to all of us bitcoin has opened a whole new world of different possibilities and changed everyone's life, some for better some for worse but bitcoin world is a whole new experience and the taste of future.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency on: March 25, 2018, 01:07:44 AM
Bitcoin already is a world currency from the position that is used by people at almost every continent in the world. But because of the reasons that you have described it will never be mainstream currency or official currency in some country. But from my point of view that wasn't the goal and it shouldn't be the goal of bitcoin.
Also the fact that through internet connection bitcoin is available all over the world makes it global and gives opportunity to all nations in the world to use it and that is the beauty of bitcoin.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if trading in Bitcoin was your source of income? on: March 24, 2018, 07:32:24 PM
Real, skilled, professional trader would turn market into his advantage any time and he will make profit always, when the price is up or down because he got covered all options. Trading is skill that aquires long time learning.
Every situation for good trader is another opportunity to make money. But such traders are rare and not everyone is capable for this. But only such professional experienced traders can make living from trading and be realy successful.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: March 24, 2018, 08:21:16 AM
I'm not thinking about that. In theory the possibility exists but on the other hand it's not very likely and it's not good to always fear what will happen with bitcoin price. I think people are too obsessed with that. It's good to watch the market and to be ready to react if necessary but on the other hand bitcoin is more than just the price.
And even if something like this happens it will not come so suddenly that you will not be able to take the action.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mandela's Gold Hands Sculpture purchased with Bitcoin for $10 million on: March 24, 2018, 12:45:28 AM
This is the first time I hear bitcoin is being used for purchasing art. This is the answer for all those who ask what could be bitcoin used for in real life and that bitcoin is mostly being used only by criminals or for gambling purposes.
More such news would  be the example of positive bitcoin promotion and definetely will encourage some to accept bitcoin as a payment method. Hope for more such news in the future.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: March 23, 2018, 08:28:20 PM
Hard to tell, there are no some general terms. Everyone has defined its own limits and rules.
Personaly I always look at the ration between invested and the profit and that tells me if it's convenient time to sell. Recently it wasn't very good time for selling. But I sell only low amounts that I need. Otherwise I hold my coins without intention to get read of the whole amount.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesian Banks, Bitcoin Is Not A Valid Means Of Payment In Indonesia. on: March 23, 2018, 07:47:12 PM
It seems that mainly Asian countries have some issues without cryptocurrencies, especialy bitcoin. But I don't think they have something against cryptocurrencies in general, but they don't want to introduce them in their economy. Think they are too unstable and that could make damage to them.
Still I don't think this will influence bitcoin in negative way, Indonesia is not that important. And the good thing is that citizens are still allowed to use cryptocurrencies and that is all that matter actualy.
