Hi all, yesterday i claimed in JD for my dark clams and the bot answered me ok i have some balance pending but when i go to the website i am not still here in the list , how often is the list updated?, i like the idea of the three halving , do we have actually some ETA for the launch ?
thank you
Each 24h its updated, it says it on the site tough. We dont have an ETA because the coin has few hidden features we didnt made known yet :p.
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ◆Rubies◆ [RBIES] Unique distribution | Backed by established business at launch. on: February 15, 2016, 06:10:51 PM
So let me understand, first of all you hold a decent % of the supply, you only let people "with money" in and you claim to be pioneering this way of distribution. Also there is only about 30 persons holding the supply besides you? Am i right?

Please read the op, there are 40 stakeholders with 3 million split between them and they are required to have the amount they purchase stored in wallets if they wish to receive revenue share. 800,100 Rubies were given to users on our site for initial distribution. 3.8 million is earned through Bet-Mining which is the part of the unique distribution model. 1 million for initial bankroll so people can use the coin from launch for entertainment and to spread it out. Coins are set aside for marketing, bounties, campaigns and developers amount to the remainder. We have an established business and wish to see Rubies thriving for years to come, we have proven financial responsibility in our past and now will rely on Rubies as almost our entire source of income. This is not a coin we launched with no thought its been in development for months.

This entire distribution model has been planned for 8 months now before code development began.
I guess you got me with the 8 months thing, alright i wont do any stupid shit, good luck with the coin, its indeed a nice distribution.
1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: February 15, 2016, 03:34:41 PM
No really... without digging clams will lose ALOT of his charme. And i think it will go down pretty fast then too.
How can you say that after 2 years!? The only reason why CLAM is still alive and kicking  is Just-Dice. You can't be that blind. I don't have a problem with digging but that award (4.6) need to be smaller with time.
Yes yes we all know how big role JD implies but dont forget that only 50% of the bankroll is being offsited,  if you count the clams out of jd id say there is more people staking. And if you want to end up digging/lower it why dont you make a clamour and start promoting it, hell you can even find someone to promote it for you.
My auto-mouthfuck dog had a decent share in my opinion for a while. If a dog fucking his own mouth can do it you can too.

If you own CLAM, you can express that opinion via CLAMour.
I notice you have been expressing it in trollboxes as well.

Yes I did. I'm also voted for stop digging.

Experiment with fair distribution is obviously failed after last digger. Why we need to wait for another one? What's the point anyway?

The point is that if everyone wanted the digging out it would be out already, not even 50% of the network agrees with it yet. They holders and they know what it means.
1867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DC] Dark Clam | NO ICO | NO PREMINE | POBS | Just-dice wager distribution on: February 14, 2016, 11:00:51 PM
I think it would make the most sense to have the distribution be ongoing, in a similar way to Bitcoin distribution, with regularly halvenings.

 * The first 10 million wagered CLAMs claimed get 1 DC each.
 * The 2nd 10 million wagered CLAMs claimed get 0.5 DC each.
 * The 3rd 10 million wagered CLAMs claimed get 0.25 DC each.
 * And so on.

That way you have a known fixed money supply of 20 million DC, you incentivize people to claim earlier rather than later, and you have an ongoing supply to keep people interested. You just pre-mine 20 million DC, keep most of them in a well-known "unclaimed" address, then everyone can see how many are still to be claimed.
Thats a really interesting point of view, i believe we do have timestamp for claims so it should be all good, ill be looking further into this.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ◆Rubies◆ [RBIES] Unique distribution | Backed by established business at launch. on: February 14, 2016, 09:40:46 PM
Hello, we had a suggestion on another forum to allow Bet-Mining to credit Rubies as you reach 1 BTC wagered in chunks. For example: 0.1 BTC volume credits 3 Rubies 0.2=6 Rubies 0.3=9 etc.
It doesn't change the amount of distribution per 1 BTC wagered (30 Rubies), however we think it will allow people more satisfaction and will be implementing this idea.

*Thanks to mod acidyo on forum.bitcoin for the suggestion.

Great idea, really nice incentive for new users to check out betterbet.io!
Its my idea, acidyo is/was a just-dice user and i told him time ago about it.

1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: February 14, 2016, 07:55:54 PM
when I lost all my bitcoin and I can not do anything but cry regret my actions.

Well you need to get some discipline from somewhere my friend. There is "never any reason to lose "all of your btc"  gambling, even less is there any reason to cry after the fact that your actions sucked and could not be controlled. If you can't stop gambling all of your btc it is time to seek help for addiction.
It is easy to walk away without losing all of your funds if you're not addicted.

Gambling is very risky and there is chance you will lose your bet even if you winning chance is 99%. You should gamble with money that you are prepared to lose.

It is risky and that is what makes it fun.
Quote
You should gamble with money that you are prepared to lose.
and that is what will hopefully stop the crying around here Cheesy
when I am closer to the addiction. I can not do anything, other than trying to shew me the money for the sake of wealth. very hard, it's so hard for me. I could not stop from gambling.

That is why you can't do anything` because you have told yourself you can't do anything.
You can do anything you want and that includes being able to stop gambling and crying as a result.
There is help out there for you should you choose to accept it.
I could not begin to help you on a forum thread post but I have dealt with it myself and it can be beat.
Pm if you want to sort it out.
That is sweet of you, gambling addiction sucks a lot indeed, if it was so easy to keep it just for fun sometimes, but it doesnt usually work that way.
1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: February 14, 2016, 06:30:42 PM
The only thing i learned from that is that if an account seems unlucky run from it .

I think it's the wrong lesson. How it seems at the start is entirely unrelated to how it seems later on. For example, check out the highlighted line in this chart - it has a horrible start, but ends up doing pretty well:

The only thing lesson to take away from these charts is that the variance with a 1% edge is huge.
Most of the times you prove my stuff wrong lol.

DC is the ticker symbol for demon coin by the way. We just recently learned, that it doesn´t necessarily mean that you have to change it (see DCR), but if you don´t and this is going to be a big thing, somebody might wanna buy up the 0.9 BTC worth of 1sat DC at yobit, because somebody´s gonna be confused and buy it...

EDIT: Wait, DC or XCP? I am confused...

ya you kinda have to know how Counterparty does things to get it, but xcp is sweet, it allows things like this easily Wink

edit;  honestly whoever bought that deltacredits thinking it was decred was just dumb. use you head there won't be a problem lol
What i mean is that we wont be on XCP for ever-

POLL UPDATED!
1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: February 14, 2016, 04:57:20 PM
I was doing some speed testing by running a bot against the Just-Dice server. I made 1000 bets of 0.001 CLAM at 49.5% and ended up with a profit of 0.088 - 88 units profit over 1000 bets. That seemed pretty unlikely to me, so I ran a simulation of 100 players each making 1000 bets at 49.5% with a 1% house edge.

Only 2 of the 100 runs ended up with over 80 units of profit after 1000 bets (click charts to enlarge; the green line is the expected profit):

I extended the simulation to run for 100k bets for 100 users. Note how it takes almost 60k bets until all 100 players are running at a loss:

The only thing i learned from that is that if an account seems unlucky run from it .

DC, the coin is on XCP for the distribution.

Interesting project, yet its not Unique distribution, if you check my signature you should see the first coin with this kind of distribution.

I did the procedure, but I have nothing on counterwallet.io!

We have to wait a little bit?  Wink
Yes for "the drop", you can check your address on darkclam.com or you can check individually accounts on jd with !dc (prefferently /msg 12275001 !dc). There is no fixed date yet but you can check progress here or on the site.

my theory is that luffy would meet other relatives and he would kill shanks...personal perspective.
Why would Luffy kill the person that he has been looking up to since he was a child? You do realize that Shanks gave Luffy the straw hat? That's quite an unusual perspective; I'd like to know more.
My ftw reaction at the beginning was epic.
1878  Local / Anunturi Monede Alternative / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake on: February 14, 2016, 02:37:31 PM
Poti face un link si la threadul oficial? Ii destul de activ. CLAM are o comunitate destul de mare in siteul just-dice.com .
