I'm having a hard time finding a concrete answer to this question. How many ether will be produced? Is there a cap on the amount of ether that will be produced, and if so, what is it? What are the characteristics of the halvings?
I'm considering buying ether but want to know before buying it, especially because I believe ether is currently in a hype bubble.
No hard cap. No halving. Only unlimited supply. Good for pump & dump. Bad for HODLing. tl;dr - The technology is valuable in Ether. The token is valuable in uᴉoɔʇᴉq. So, HODL uᴉoɔʇᴉq & learn ether. ^Best answer. Eth has some incredible bagholding there and market manipulation, darkclam is going to be same tech but improved and a fair distribution. How to calculate clam fees?
For this transaction i had to pay 0.02 1733a6aa80719165161872a751e83ae98c5624c1f8ce28c5b6e7dd1c7baa6dfc
and for this other one i pay 0.01 48348338da41f9d5243a4050c9cfadfadecd185454dd00851f810a0d87fb9b5c
But most of the transactions use 0.0001
I know there is a bitcoin equation to know the transaction size and that way calculate fees for btc (180*in+34*out), is there something like this for clam?
And the other question i have is about staking. The clam network have grow and i would like to know how much clams i can stack if i have, 500, 1,000 or 10,000.

Someone would have to calculate how much it is right now but i think you need about 1100 clams to stake a clam a day. |

BTC to XCP is like TCP/IP to HTTP

still not working my wallet is stuck now for 9 days  What happened? Did you download the bootstrap.dat file? Did you put it in the same folder as your CLAM wallet.dat? Did you restart the CLAM client? Did the bootstrap.dat file end up getting renamed? Is there anything unusual in your debug.log file? What block are you stuck at? yeah i tried everything only option left is deleting all files and try again but that takes many time then on my computer is use for this wallet.. im stuck at block 899544 edit: and i have 9 active contections and it says its staking.. what normal not happens when wallet is not sync Hmm? There is staked almost 810k, since is 1 block per minute how can we have almost 900k blocks? Ps: how you "have/had" a "gambling" site up without even having the wallet synced? |

I really liked xcp when it got out and as i mentioned many times i think this is awesome, id also suggest to look into the CIYAM AT, in my opinion it could be even better than eth.
Any idea if there is anyone trying to fix the locking problem?

I put some buy orders on counterwallet if someone wants to get some for cheap: you can buy 200k DC for 2 BTC. The counterwallet interface is a bit silly, go to "Markets", then type "DARKCLAM" for "Token 1", but don't hit enter, but select the "DARKCLAM" from the dropdown box, then click "Other" and enter "BITCOIN" for "Token 2", again select BITCOIN from the dropdown box, and then you should see the buy orders.
Updated: 100,000 DARKCLAM now costs 250 XPC. Silly me thought BITCOIN were BITCOIN on counterwallet, but it is just another counterwallet asset. So to buy it, you have to buy XCP on an exchange like Poloniex, then transfer it to your counterwallet account and then you can buy it. It is the cheapest and biggest offer at the moment, I think you can buy fractional amounts, too, you don't have to buy all 100 k DARKCLAM. Looking forward to use an easier to use exchange like Poloniex  Heh, i was using xcp all this time and when you said that we can also use btc i feelt a bit stupid. I think its going to take another while till we launch but im sure the wait will be worth. Ps: Any developer that wants to contribute to the DC project will get no commission on investments on the dice. (Atleast the one i launch). |

It is difficult to say. After Homestead release there is not really reason to buy new Ether until the next release in a few months. Therefore I expect a constantly decline until the pre-phase of new release. Ether price experienced a drop of 40 %, what is the best time to buy and in the light of the constant positive news, I think we're seeing some perspective in this matter

A wallet would be a good start twitting an exchange would do nothing if we don`t have a working wallet.
Its impossible to have a wallet till the rest is done, minimun i can do is atleast let exchanges know that we exist. |
