1401  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: October 22, 2016, 06:31:19 PM
A modified version of the DDoSing persists. We are developing a solution to this.
Good to hear - sounds like its a very persistent attack. I hope that they are not trying to bribe SD to get back online. If you don't give in to them and adapt to the threats quickly enough hopefully they will eventually get bored and move onto a weaker target.

Dont know if this bribe is true or not but let say it is true, your site will be get ddos attacked from them and this will take some time to recover from it though. And btw what do you mean by weaker target? Dont you think moneypot is weaker? What do they get from weaker target? Nothing i suppose, better to hit on some huge site with good traffic so there will be possibility they will pay the ransom

I meant a target which is more likely to pay than a smaller site. Depends upon how tech savvy the target is. For example a large retail site which doesn't specialise in tech / or a site that has weak hosts and no way of defending against a DDoS will be more likely to pay.

Nobody should never pay this kind of ransom, because they will be encouraged to do this again and again...
Just use better filters to avoid DDOS attack
I agree with you, I had ransomware on my pc once and in that moment it seemed really hard to lose all that info, mostly because pictures but didn't fill those cunts  atleast.

Anyone else having this issue with initial sync of the chain.

The sync progresses normally, then at some point this starts happening:

The solution is to stop clamd and restart it, again it repeats, for some time it syncs new blocks but then get stuck doing this ORPHAN BLOCK 751 over and over and over again.

At this pace it will take a long time to sync, I am around block 300k right now.

Any tips?
I have no idea bout these shits but I think you could use the bootstrap that dooglus updates regularly, Ill search the link and update.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: October 20, 2016, 09:18:53 PM
I just read in the site it's
max profit: 133,669.49 CLAMS

Wow that's a lot.

But when I calculate 0.5% x invested 1,312,007 CLAMS = 6560 CLAMS

Which one is correct? How much is the total bankroll? is it 1,312,007 CLAMS?
Have you used /supply? Try also /offsite or check the FAQ for more detailed info.
"the total bankroll of 26,466,293 CLAM is made up of 1,306,869 CLAM onsite and 25,159,424 CLAM offsite"
"offsite" means that the player is allowed to declare up to 25 times(at this moment) the amount he has invested (making his wins/losses be 25x bigger).
It's original purpose was to allow people to invest more in the casino without the risk of buying a huge amount of CLAM.

Hello party people! XCP is one of the most amazing prooven project with no single problem to this moment. Practicaly can handle ETH work and there are gaming on it's blockchain. To hit 10 USD or something like 0.02 BTC it is only a matter of time. Everyone is free to decide how is going to handle it. But all we know there are other not so efficient currencies on higher price.
Bah last time I bought I lost it by my or indiewallet´s, can´t know. I´ll eventually get more but that pissed me a bit and I hope there is enough time to buy xcp for everyone.

Guys, we still want more developers.

Hey Andu, what's shaking with this project?

Need to find a way to kickstart this project without further huge developments.

1. I see pharesim from steemit has created a gambling bot on steemit - maybe chat to him about some collaboration, maybe an option to create a web front end and allow the current dark clam investors to make profits based on share equity.

Something else to consider is to move to an asset than develop tech for coin (enough of those) and move to Nxt/ardor platform.

Food for thought )
Edit: going to launch a simple wallet soon.
1407  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: September 14, 2016, 09:17:02 PM
Let's see, I lost the password of my account, then lost the password and name of the second, since I lack of mails and don't come often I bought an account for .002 btc or something like that, now I started using it for refferals from my site cryptobettingindex.com and when joining the chat I got muted.
I think that muting an account when admiting that One bought the account is wrong since only when hidding it it's wrong, I think that people that admits that they bought the account and uncover the seller do a good job and shall not be punished.
All I heard is that these are the rules from few butthurt members, the rules make no sense unless the buyer needs to be tracked down and its found of buying it to scam, I admit I'm me and I see no sense for this so I kindly ask to be unmuted as I just tried to spend few minutes in chat.

It seems after big raise the price is falling down. -11% with daily volume over 350 BTC.
Take count of all the clams that were bought up

Long term profit how? CLAMS are basically casino chips for Just Dice. You'd be betting on Just Dice returns rising. And also, as CLAM gets more expensive, more people is encouraged to dig them, which negatively affects its price.

In your ultimate bearish view,  if it is the truth then why wouldn't everyone just dig them right now - in a "race to the bottom" of price?

Doesn't seem to be the case.

There is A LOT of clams in physical coins, there is a lot also that were probably lost, and well, many just don't want to bother themselves or are waiting till the price is higher.

262,360 CMT

Then I will not say what pool is working well? I try with https://hash-to-coins.com/index.php

How many people are mining  CMT ?  3, 5, 10?

I don't understand why you paste on almost every post the coin supply O.o

Is not important how much people are mining but how much power they have.
Anyway what hardware you have to mine?
O.O the supply of CMT is only 262k?

1416  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: remove steemit links on: August 03, 2016, 09:08:08 AM
It seems to me that steem is a classic scamcoin, and steemit is being astroturfed like crazy. However, if a steemit link contains substantial, on-topic content, then the shadyness of steem/steemit doesn't warrant removing the link.

But if people are posting low-content steemit links in low-content posts, or posting steemit links constantly, then this should be reported. (Note that we might give a little extra leeway for steemit posts in the steem/steemit threads.)
You just butthurt, I'm not saying steemit is perfect and we all have our doubts, but atleast you won't censor anybody, seems funny that "scams are not moderated" but if something smells a bit fishy and affects your site directly it is a problem.

does this mean pool operaters and exchanges will have heaps of clams from all the old addressses?

if so can we get our clams out from them or is it now their property?

You never owed the address, they were holding your money to you, but if you can convince them of giving you the private keys good luck, I tried contacting gox, lol.
