2521  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: November 05, 2019, 03:41:50 PM
Maybe not now, but I do believe that bitcoin will be able to rise up again so if you want to get profit on it you should know how to hold for a long term, much better to trust bitcoin and keeps on holding it until the price rises again for you to earn a massive profit on it near in the future. I don't do believe it will not go down because there are bullish well-known people predicting Bitcoin that will touch to $16 by this year and that it the start to feel the next halving result.
2522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitfinex a good exchange for trading? [Exchange review] on: November 05, 2019, 02:28:39 PM
bitfinex is an old exchange that has a pretty good review, but some people have problems with this exchange, if you are a small trader you can try it there, but if you have big capital you have to think about it again, my advice is you better share the capital in several exchanges.
Yes, it is. Bitfinex is known for its good exchange in trading. Nowadays, there are many trading sites appear so you have a lot to choose from but as of now Bitfinex is a great exchange for trading too so don't hesitate to trade on it. But here is my two cents advice, don't leave any big amount on wallet exchange, no one crypto exchanges are safe nowadays. Even Binance experienced hacking incidence this year and also Bitmex exchange leak the security breach I don't think there's safe as of now.
2523  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: November 05, 2019, 01:38:17 PM
If you look at any payment mechanism which is online and uses phones and internet, the scam rates are pretty high. Because it is easier to get into a device through Trojans or phishing sites and hack a system. Also, it is easier to manipulate people on internet into giving details as digital literacy is there but that efficiently. The situation is worse in crypto because it is more complex and requires understanding of wallets, exchanges and keys which is tough to understand. Moreover, there is no central authority to look after the crimes. This increases the problem.
Many complain about the high level of scams going on in the market but the same is happening with credit cards, hackers are taking advantage of the lack of culture when it comes to online security and they are making themselves rich in this way.
Absolutely! There are many scammers and hackers right now all over the globe especially here in the crypto world as long as related to the internet and it is a very big problem so all I can suggest is that you must need to be careful. You must only access the trusted sites and don't you even enter untrusted sites to avoid being hacked and scam. So, at least we know that it's a part of our responsibility to be careful our assets into safe. Bad people always wanted an easy money and fool naive people.
2524  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 05, 2019, 12:59:02 PM
Typically I am saving around 15% to 20% of my monthly income and my investment in cryptocurrency comes from this amount. I am not investing all of my savings in cryptocurrency. Right now cryptocurrency constitutes around 20% of my portfolio. The remaining amount is made up of bank deposits, bullion, equities and mutual funds.
Just like you. I myself don't only make cryptocurrency investments. I share it in many other investments. But here there are many people who are too ambitious with the number of presentations which are sometimes more than the needs and in my opinion this is very risky. what we need to understand is that investment is mandatory but we don't need to force ourselves to invest
It's better to have an investment for your future needs even just a little, at least time will come you can have it. Well, I invested using my monthly salary spare and I used my bitcoin wallet here in my country (LBC) and I came from my small business that managing my mother and another part-time job as well. I invested in because I do believe that it's more profitable rather than saving my money on a bank that has only small interest.
2525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: November 04, 2019, 08:28:10 PM
First, how long the service they operated and the feedback on their previous customers.
As much as possible in choosing for example gambling site better to spend time investigating first before depositing your fund.
Why we must be careful about our Bitcoin? Because it is like fiat and the most valuable. Verify first the gambling site you've chosen and trust to deposit as well.
2526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: November 04, 2019, 08:06:01 PM
I started playing at onehash recently, has many interesting ways to bet.
Speaking of Onehash they had now an event and get a chance to win 0.15 bitcoin which is a big amount.
For me, I will choose a gambling site that runs with a reputable name and it should also have various kinds of games, just like all in one.
I won't recommend any gambling sites, just research at your own risk. And don't trust those accounts had negative and valid feedback.
2527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Techniques you are using for Trading Options on: November 04, 2019, 07:45:27 PM
I personally only use techniques with take profit 2-3% target for each transaction, Of course it can only be done by daily traders because you have to really focus on market price movements. Besides that you also need to learn 2 other techniques, technical and fundamental analysis.
I never follow your technique because we never expect 2 to 3 percentage of daily target. Normally market will move forward or backward at anytime so really traders are change it will start backward. Because they know how we maintain the each transaction so secret techniques are never explain anyone.
The fundamental and technical analysis will help but it will not give accurate results. So, never rely on this technique because it might lead you from losing your fund. How did you know to gain profit between 2-3% a day which is you don't know the movement in crypto of the market. The fact that no one technique gives a long term profit in trading, that is still predicting the market. My technique is using trading bot and tools for my technical analysis.
2528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What scares you the most? on: November 04, 2019, 06:31:41 PM
For me, banning and having a restriction about Bitcoin is the most I scared of. When all government were against all cryptocurrencies and will cause of dropping the price. Maybe if the bitcoin price will drop down and can no longer recover. I think that really scares me the most because I might lose a lot of money if that will happen. That is only my wild imagination and a negative one that we must forget. Let's think positive and don't even scare at all. Bitcoin now was in on mainstream and some establishments and companies were using it. As long as Bitcoin remains anonymously nothing will control.
2529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 04, 2019, 05:15:52 PM
I did try but to no effect. It's hard to stop someone who is determined to recover his losses like there's no next time.
If you really try to recover the losses through gambling further then you will end up in further trouble rather than recovering but there are times you might get lucky too and i got lucky a few times in the past but now a days i do not roll that much nor wage as i am not holding that much coins to dispose but causally once in a while i try to have some fun.

What is the reason for recovering your losses if you had already set amount that you can afford, either win or lose? Chasing money in gambling to cover your losses is not a good idea. It will make worst than you are expected. Just always keep in mind the word discipline, to ourselves selves and to our emotions which dragging us in losing everything we had. If this sentiment you can't control probably you will turn to addiction which makes you life become miserable.
2530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: November 04, 2019, 04:12:33 PM
Almost every gambling house has provided with a chatroom attached with the site. Here it is possible to make conversation about different games as well as tricks. Apart from this it is possible to share specific game data which also encourages more conversation about the games. Some sites even got access to add people to our friend list and so on for a private chat.
That is right, especially in dice gambling sites they had a chatroom even in poker gambling they had also chatroom on the platform. But when OP talking about your friend outside and planning to gamble I usually use telegram. I had a lot of friends there gambled at the same time. But when we are in the gambling platform chatbox is very useful to us. Just like bluffing or laughing while talking to other opponents.
2531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2019, 03:21:05 PM
this is not losing interest, they just wait for bitcoin price rise. if you compare in 2017 and the years before, it doesnt mean people interest in just 2017, and its not only interest, but they move to gain massive profit in that time. now, they are wait for the right time to gain big profit like last year.
Agree since as the market fluctuates its value, the interest are also not stable.
One might lost his interest now but its not gonna be permanent because once a bullish market will come, they will also start to invest again.

Bitcoin now for those who like to play the FOMO are just seasonal to them, they will stay away for a while and will just come back once bull run starts.
Because they will come back once the market showing a bullish condition, in short, they just wanted only to get profit and jump in into the highest price and I didn't know how could they get profit. Are people losing interest in Bitcoin? I don't think so because there are still many people who believe in bitcoin and still keeps on investing. Maybe those who lost their interest in bitcoin are those people who are just new in this cryptocurrency world and didn't understand yet how cryptocurrency to make a profit.
2532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: November 04, 2019, 02:50:01 PM
there are other guys, bitcoin is the technology of the future, the financial system of the future, in my opinion, the decentralized system of bitcoin is what makes investors interested. We know, before Bitcoin, even today the world financial system is still centralized, so that all assets that we have are controlled by the state. with bitcoin, investors are free to use their assets. complete control is in their hands. this is what most people in the world expect, including investors.
Yes that is, the decentralized system. Its because the government can't track bitcoin and they don't have access to it the reason why you don't need to pay any tax as long as you keep your earnings a secret. In that way, you can be able to earn a big profit without paying taxes. So, investing will give to us individual benefits and that is the reason why we keep holding our Bitcoin even though how high volatile it is. Hopefully, those people who was invested already understand how bitcoin works and how risky it is and no regret will happen.
2533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: November 03, 2019, 09:43:01 PM
Wow it's a very wise statement. And it's a very generous attitude, the world would cetainly be more pleasant, if all people were thinking like you. I'm a little bit like you, I like to donate to needy, but I prefer to donate to needy women, I must confess.
Why? Lol, I smell something huh.
Donating to needy people is necessary if you found someone then, directly give to them or bringing food and cloth much better.
There are people who have a good heart and thinking they are generous people. Giving a small amount is good to give in NGOs or charity foundations program but if that is a big amount you can treat all of them and give a pleasant day that makes them smile.
2534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: November 03, 2019, 09:19:27 PM
I'm sorry to say that but I don't think this fight will ever happen. Manny can't take the risk to get hurted or even to lose a fight before his match against Mayweather. And after it he won't have any interest to fight against someone else, he will end his career.
Why not if he wanted to fight. As far as I remember the CEO of Mayweather announced that they will not fight against Pacquiao and also he wanted to resign on his boxing career. I don't know if that is an excuse or whatever might be he afraid to fight Manny Pacquaio. Word boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is getting old probably 2-3 years he will resign too from his Boxing career and probably he might focus on being a senator of his country and also have time to his PACTOKEN. Cheesy
2535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doing Research on Projects before joining Their Bounty Campaign on: November 03, 2019, 07:06:56 PM
If bounty hunters did more research before jumping into any project, they would have been making much more and projects with a shady or half cooked business strategy would have stopped hosting bounty campaigns because there is no self respecting hunter that would participate in their campaign, apart from the stuff you mentioned, bounty hunters should evaluate the projects AS IF THEY ARE INVESTING THEIR LAST FUNDS IN IT. This would enable them be careful when choosing a project to promote.
Earlier replies give links and guides how to spot scammed projects and guide how to choose the right one. Most of my token/coins in my portfolio are coming from bounty projects. But until now didn't have value while others did not list yet in the market. You can dig more and research further about them especially the team they shouldn't anonymous. But I believed they will stop to promote if no one bounty hunters join.
2536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How i keep my private keys safe without hardware wallet on: November 03, 2019, 06:39:29 PM
I also stored my private keys in a flash drive and kept it in a very secure location, several flash drives actually because something might happen to one and I would lose everything, additionally I wrote them down and stored in a safe location too, security is paramount when dealing with Cryptocurrencies and I take the security of my funds very seriously because scammers are everywhere searching for a wallet to hack and steal someone's hard earned funds.
You can also write in a piece of paper and keep in a closet or in a place that you can hide. Treat Bitcoin as your valuable stuff because this is just like money or a bar of gold. When someone will see that you have Bitcoin stored they will be tempted to steal it from you. Just take care of our private key safe that nobody knows, our responsibility to keep our valuable stuff. If that is a big amount you can make a metal vault that no one will open it and all your valuable things are in there.
2537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin Halving! on: November 03, 2019, 06:03:10 PM
The news regarding Starbucks is quite huge and its possible impact could be significant to the market. It's one of the most popular premium coffee bars and has a great market of variety of people from the upper to middle class.
Since star bucks is accepting and selling bitcoin now everyone will be sleeping and drinking coffee in star bucks  Cheesy Tongue. On a serious note it is a step towards major adoption in the market.
That is a good analogy, star bucks company is very well known and a high class coffee shop and it brings become more exposure to Bitcoin and creates mass adoptions. But how could we forget a very promising event that leads us to buy more coffee in star bucks? The next halving is expected that bitcoin surge in the market and probably there are crypto enthusiasts cut their profit and maybe will remain holding their Bitcoin. We are near now to the next halving event.
2538  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling cigarettes on: November 03, 2019, 02:51:07 PM
Hi, I would like to offer camel cigarettes of any kind for sale. I am offering a pack of 10 cases with 20 cigarettes each for 16 + shipping in bitcoin.

If you’re interested in any specific brand let me know. I can’t get cheap Marlboros

Edit: Some people may be confused with my wording. You would be buying a total of 200 cigarettes. A box of 10 cases each containing 20 cigarettes. 1 box * 10 cases * 20 cigarettes = 200

Add: Also offering Marlboro red/brown now also for the 26 + shipping
I think it is less effective if buying and selling cigarettes online, what's more buying and selling between countries, I once tried to buy cigarettes online, after calculating the shipping costs, I will not get a profit and even loss, the price is only a little difference with the cigarettes around me.
Of course as what the reply above says it will need to pass the customs and they are very strict in receiving products inside the country or those in and out of the product. Unless, if you are hiring direct shipping just like backdoor transaction which obvious illegal. Cigarettes now are getting expensive and having a high demand in the market. If someone will carry this to get into the country you can sell this into a retailed price that based in your country.
2539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Qualification for Professional Trader on: November 03, 2019, 02:13:30 PM
I also noticed etoro ads on my FaceBook and sometimes on YouTube.
No, that is not an indication that you are in professional traders that is something like an affiliate program. Once someone copy-pasted your portfolio, you can get a 10% bonus from the investors, but you can't withdraw all these bonuses.

For further knowledge, you can read this article and they are thinking that etoro also looks like a scam. But I personally think that it is a marketing strategy to lure gamblers to join etoro. https://socialtradingguru.com/etoro-scam-or-not
2540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [BEWARE] Bitmex Fake Email! on: November 03, 2019, 01:11:29 PM
Good thing I've read this thread and visited on this board. When I was checking my email address that used in Bitmex I saw that there is a message on the spam folder. But I usually ignore if I received an email from the spam folder of my email account. I will change my email account later today and get to junk the old one. Therefore, even Binance was an experienced hacking incidence that has strong security I think there no safe on exchange sites. This is a red alert to those Bitmex exchange users.
