2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One game vs a variety: which gives higher potential to a casino? on: July 08, 2020, 09:53:00 PM
I would say, this is a case to case basis and I can't conclude which is really give a potential advantage to a certain casinos.

There are two options that I figured out about this.
First, if your gambling site is newly launched, variety of games or solo games doesn't matter. Why? because few gamblers are seeking promotions and want to test the casino first.

Second is if your gambling site has been fully built a community trust, I would say you're reputation is good enough. A variety of games doesn't matter. Look at those dice sites that focus only in dice, they are existed until now. Because they are good gambling sites. Example Bustadice, Yolodice, and Primedice.

So, I voted the last part of the choices.
2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 07, 2020, 09:33:40 PM
No, I am sure Bitcoin is not a safe haven asset, on the contrary it is a high risk speculation. Bitcoin has a very high price volatility so people invest in it and hope to make a profit. If anyone intends to hide his assets in bitcoin, I think he should seriously rethink.
Bitcoin is not a safe haven in terms of price stability in the market, the high risk was always there because of the word "volatility" every time the price will fluctuate upon following the demand and supply movement. But when it comes to the seizure resistance bitcoin is the answer.  The government can't confiscate your bitcoin asset and it is extremely safe if you know how to keep it safe in your bitcoin wallet.

However, there's no really what we called safe haven. All are at risk but it depends on how we manage.
2003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still enjoy the anonymity in gambling in the long run? on: July 07, 2020, 09:01:44 PM
Anonymity is good in gambling platform but it will depend if this licensed casino, not the unlicensed one.

As I understand, the obvious point of having government regulation in the gambling industry is to ensure that people should aware that they are dealing with a good platform and their fund is safe with the regulated and licensed casino. This regulation is to ensure that they are operated lawfully, ethically and gamblers are safe and treated fairly.

KYC implementation is only those players who withdraw/deposit that exceed their highest limit. This is to avoid money laundering which prohibited in all countries' jurisdictions.

If you gamble just for fun with a small amount, there 's no problem with that. Gmail verification was commonly required in most gambling platforms.
2004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to trade all of the coins? on: July 07, 2020, 08:12:43 PM
You can always choose an exchange site that has more pairs of coins and large volumes. This is what they called liquidity on the exchange is most important and usually found on centralized exchange platform.

A thread that has a list of exchanges and comparisons, research your own because that is your money that I guess is on risk.
* Crypto exchanges comparison
* List of Decentralized/Centralized Exchanges
* List of P2P/no-KYC exchanges
* [List] Instant exchanges

Sound other thread is outdated but it is still useful to read and search an exchange platform that has these, Liquidity, Volume, Number of pairs coins, and API services.
2005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else see a big bitcoin upwards movement coming very soon? on: July 06, 2020, 09:43:08 PM
I do agree with you. I also see the same opportunity that bitcoin will soon rise to $15000 in a month. However, I believe that the main reason why bitcoin is still under $10000 is that whales and big boys are collecting as many bitcoin as they can. While the price is still under $10000, its a great chance for them to accumulate bitcoin and ether in order to maximize the profit. Many news and analysis have pointed out that bitcoin will soon be back to $20000. Sadly, we still dont know which date it will be. Right now is a chance for us to store bitcoin with a pretty cheap price
Can you support any technical analysis on this, it's quite very optimistic for me.

I have doubt that there is a big rally on bitcoin price on this 3rd quarter of the year because most likely news headlines and the very hot issue is about PayPal adopting bitcoin as a form of payment. Due to a large number of PayPal users, it's quite good to know that there I guess a huge impact on bitcoin price that makes the dominance will raise. But I don't think so we will break again the $10k price within this month, nobody knows.

I don't have FOMO in bitcoin and I know there would be a mass adoption because this recently happened the pandemic case, which avoids physical contact and digital payments are very important, bitcoin belongs to that option.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luckyfish accepting kids on: July 06, 2020, 07:52:14 PM
~snip~
 So IMO its necessary to keep an eye on kids internet browsing which may be a better solution in this kind of circumstances.
It's a well said, don't blame gambling platform or any websites that make your kid on other activities are not impeding on their child's education. It's a parent's responsibility to guide and monitor those activities on your kid, as friendly and one of the responsible parent advice. It's important to us to encourage our kid about learning school, there's a proper time for gadgets like laptop or cellphone. Don't let them use on that kind of device without our permission, it's our responsibility, not them.

That's right, talk to your son, and never neglect to correct their faults and stop blaming anyone else.
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reversible crypto transaction is no more impossible on: July 06, 2020, 06:11:21 PM
I was trying to see how the company can do this but the article didn't say much in that regard .
If they can reverse already confirmed  transaction without doing it from the Blockchain then I guess they'll use a centralized setup to make the reversal possible?
As I understand that is a service that there is a reversible transaction, it doesn't mean that the confirmed transaction will be reversible.

I didn't fully understand yet but I'm trying to dig research about it. I guess, in my theoretical explanation, this might be a possible use of being a fraud, it looks like they are the third party that anytime if the recipient and sender have an agreement and if there is an error the transaction can be reversible.

Well, I hope this will not use in a bad way in the future. Let's continue the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies. I prefer to irreversible transactions.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can online gambling help to kickstart the global economy? on: July 05, 2020, 08:23:11 PM
Gambling revenue from the regulated and licensed company who pay taxes are extremely a good help to the economy. That's the reason why the government push to continue any licensed gambling companies after the pandemic hit because they want to recover from the economic crisis and this gambling sector business either small or big can contribute to the economic growth through their taxes.

I don't consider a global economy, let's consider those countries that strictly prohibit gambling due to their religious belief. They are excepted in this case.
2009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 05, 2020, 04:14:43 PM
~snip~
Hence to get some attention, newer casinos should bring something new and unique to get attention of the users.
I have here in the forum for how many years this is what I have been witnesses in some newer casino. They put a lot of effort to do their marketing strategies, having giveaways, bonuses, and promotions as well just to have build trust in the community. These are the way to have a unique style to get the gambler's attention.

There's nothing wrong with the new, new gambling site is very exciting to explore new features that you never encounter. I think if you don't trust because this is newly launched, why not just try a small amount and experience to gamble a new one, I guess you will also rewarding if you will find a bug on a new gambling site.
2010  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: July 05, 2020, 10:37:46 AM
The accuser didn't have yet any documentation as proof that he didn't manipulate when writing the seed.

Bustadice has been built enough a good reputation and devans I guess didn't ruin this. I guess try to verify the seed here, https://www.provablyfair.me/casino/bustadice-verifier/ to know the provably fair algorithm of bustadice maybe the accuser didn't know yet how to verify client seed.

Before calling bustadice is a scam, please wait for the response of devans. Don't be harsh dude!

2016  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitstarz - Seizing Funds on: June 30, 2020, 09:51:04 PM
I can't figure out if I'm the one who also losing huge money like this which is 0.7 BTC. Sorry for your loss bud but next time make it sure you had proper research before using a gambling site like this, even their perpetrators here have a lot of negative feedback and active flag. I guess if you have seen this earlier, you will not regret it by now.

Just do what alani123 says, so that everyone in the forum will be warned too. There are too many DT member will help about this, but I'm not sure if they will return your BTC.
2017  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: June 30, 2020, 09:15:14 PM
We can't give exact prediction if where the price headed by next month July, (I mean tomorrow is the month of July) it will remain unpredictable to me. But that's extremely right, I'm also optimistic about my prediction that bitcoin will be headed up next month and I guess it will surpass the $10k. One of the reasons I guess the massive adoption of bitcoin due to pandemic and most people want to use payment through the online and also the gambling industry has a big impact on crypto prices.

Let just wait and see what will happen, my question is. Have you fulled your bag before the price will rally?
2018  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better trade BTC or BNB? On BINANCE on: June 30, 2020, 08:07:43 PM
Binance gives you a discount if you trade cryptocurrencies with pair BNB/X . If you want to avoid fees but they are not too high you can trade with bnb pair
This is true, using BNB pairs when you are in trading is something you can save a small amount on the fee. It is automatically reducing the fee if you are using it. BNB also is good in a form of investment, once Binance was active in trading market, BNB has a potential to keep because the price becomes increase.

Both are good the BTC and BNB coin, but that is the advantage of BNB, saving any of your transaction fees if you use this coin. I guess the main fee is 0.10% for all customers on all trades customer's volume.
2019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the wallet is hacked, what should I do? on: June 30, 2020, 07:40:25 PM
Not just with the email that contained suspicious links/phishing links. But there are also malware where you can get from uncertified and unlicensed downloading sites. I remembered my experience from signing up from mining websites and then they hacked my email and password and hacked my crypto coins.
I totally agree with you on the malware issue and that's why I advise people to not download from any untrusted site. Even on the Android playstore, I don't download any app that has below 4 star rating. If you must download, use a different phone from the one where you have important stuff on. It's that simple.
That is correct, that's why when I was downloading an app from the play store I read first the reviews and feedbacks. But that is different case from a very well known app, you can directly visit from the official website if you want to download an app wallet like Electrum or Mycelium.

A crypto wallet isn't easy to hack if they don't have the private key, but I don't know if that is working in malware infecting. If you have a huge amount of crypto I recommend buying a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger Nano S. because that are safe and most reputed wallets.
Double your security feature like enabling 2FA and your private key should also safe or printed in a piece of paper and keep in your wallet or even your money vault.
2020  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a plan of teaching college students in my neighborhood Bitcoin on: June 30, 2020, 07:02:52 PM
I like your idea and I hope they learn this techy valuable thing, that is bitcoin.

Teaching to this great technology will I guess 3 weeks is not enough, because there crucial factors that they must learn not just bitcoin is a form of payment or investment, they should understand the mechanism on it.

I don't know where to start but I think from basic to the inner core of what is bitcoin.
-Understanding the Mechanism of Blockchain
 * Blockchain technology
 * Blockchain platforms
 * Blockchain software
 * Blockchain services offered

Some dippest examples that listeners will learn.

Good luck with your journey and stay safe upon teaching.
