1721  Economy / Economics / Re: Need of the hour : Use the Crisis on: November 07, 2020, 09:31:05 PM
During the pandemic, our country's online presence has increased dramatically.
Left and right, you will see people offering their goods and products for sale. Meaning to say that the businesses have evolved their market from the traditional.

So what I can strongly suggest is to make sure to consider having your internet usage. Choose a product or service that is rare. Become a rarity. And win your own game. I'm now deciding to get there as well. Will be opening my food business online soon.
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: After elections end this year for all countries, we are all screwed on: November 07, 2020, 08:55:39 PM
New leadership means new perspectives and solutions. So if in case Bidens won the election, expect a better leadership on the side where we can see.  But don't you expect the economics will increase. Because Trump is actually better in finance compared to Bidens so I doubt.

Going back, I find 2021 as something we have to look forward positively. The vaccine will be up during the year. And everyone will be able to go back to their previous habits. Its up to you if you're gonna be stuck there.
1723  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: November 07, 2020, 08:43:50 PM
Let's stop the panic with this pandemic and look at how you survived today without having it even though you know to yourself that you have encountered a lot of risky people who might be carrying the virus already.

I guess the covid is just a made-up virus to slow down the global economy and to have what they needed to do. If you're going to observe, no one in your family has experienced the covid. And that's actually not an accident.
1724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 07, 2020, 08:24:49 PM
That's never gonna happen folk. Bitcoin will never ever shut down. Unless humanity has extinct. That's the only way for Bitcoin to
close its doors. The only reason why Paypal announced the lag from bitcoin is to set proper expectations. Bitcoin is the pioneering cryptocurrency so any lags are always considerable.

Besides, bitcoin is not meant a payment as of now. It is an investment that you can hold for the long term. Holders consider bitcoin as a safe haven. So, there is no reason bitcoin will shut down or turn off.
1725  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: November 07, 2020, 08:07:30 PM
Let me give you a piece of advice. "WHALES WILL NEVER DO STUPID THING SUCH AS DUMPING HIGH AMOUNT OF THEIR ASSETS." That's suicide.

Whales are whales for some reason. They keep their money out of fiats for some reason. If they will dump, the possibility is, they will attract what they avoid. Partials and storing the value is the solution they have so you don't have to worry about them. Just keep on holding until your profit was there.
1726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 04, 2020, 09:53:29 PM
I don't think that due to lagging, investors will be a turnoff for there are lots of platforms that can be used for transactions aside from the lightning network. Same as with posi I have seen this loop as well but didn't try using it because I'm not sure yet about its security.

I'm pretty sure that this issue will only be for the meantime and the solution will be provided the soonest time similar to every technology that was introduced before to the public wherein issues were addressed in an ample time and embraced globally.
1727  Economy / Economics / Re: usdc good coin ready to become the new digital dollar on: November 02, 2020, 08:11:22 PM
I guess it may seems that USDC may be good and ready to become a digital currency but it remains a centralized currency that the US government still has full control of and can be easily manipulated by the central banks. Though usdt has the exact value as us dollar it may still be hard for usdc to replace it for popularity-wise as of now people are more aware of the existence of usdt and would probably cling on it since had been on the market for years now and it is already in circulation.

The only advantage of usdc is that if it will be recommended by our government and get legalized as the only digital currency in the country.
1728  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the best reserve asset? on: November 02, 2020, 07:50:10 PM
We can't conclude that bitcoin will be the best nor the absolute reserve asset for like what you mentioned things change differently in time. We can't assume what will bitcoin be in the future as early as now though, bitcoins show good characteristics as an investment. But that will not be a guarantee since countries like China are aiming to create their own centralized digital currency which other countries around that globe are doing the same and as of the moment, they are not considering bitcoin as the best one that can resolve most of the issues we are experiencing in fiat.

Moreover, looking at bitcoin as the best reserve asset can also be true if any country like US will adopt it legally as their own currency.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: November 02, 2020, 05:01:51 PM
There is no best strategy that you can apply in sports betting it is a gamble that results may change from time to time. Gambling is a game where you can use strategies though but it still depends on your judgment, you may any of the strategies that you provided but still, it will give no guarantee in return.

If any of those strategies became favorable to you then luck is on your side on that particular game and if it went the other way around then it is not your lucky day as of the moment. Rest assured if you will use the paid group strategy it is also okay for I have used it a couple of times and I earn profits through them but using it you need to know first the team you will be betting for you to be sure and ready for any possible outcome.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: November 02, 2020, 04:17:48 PM
Definitely, there could be a huge effect on the team performance if sports icons or other lead players will not be able to join and play because they get infected with the virus, it is a twist and will make it hard to predict the outcome of the match.

Though this is a reality however it only ensures the safety of the other players instead of risking the health of everyone that is involved in the game. On the other hand, it only made some changes on the scores and result but the sport itself will not be affected regardless of whom among these people got infected because the authority could not hold the sports back for a long time since people should start to adopt the new normal and this is part of it.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: November 02, 2020, 02:39:56 PM
There are lots of factors we need to look at in any sports games considering this pandemic that hits some of the players which have a huge effect on their team performance.

Some of these factors are how would it affect the team if a lead player couldn't show up because they are infected by the virus and how the remaining players who could make it to the game but still will hold them back to perform well because of the anxiety that they are going through since none of them don't know who else among them has the virus but doesn't show any symptoms yet.

Furthermore, these factors will definitely affect the result of the games, a little on who will win but on the scoring, there is a change that is obvious and different from what it is supposed to be. I guess for bettors like me who take betting for entertainment, it is perfectly fine since it gives us more twist and excitement as it became more unpredictable now.
1732  Economy / Gambling / Re: primedice and stake dont show you your profit stats, it is a form of scam on: November 02, 2020, 12:18:15 PM
I suggest you ask them why they hide those things. I know that their support team will glad to give clarification and doubts. Just give them time to reply or make a follow-up.

Well, I understand that you want transaparency but the thing is not necessary for me at all. Besides, if you have an account on their site you can simply take a glimpse at you dashboard, tracing back to your bet to see if you won or just loss because I believe it was been recorded as a form of transaction history.
i just asked and the reply they gave made no sense at all. they wont even tell me what my monthly crypto stats was.

played in the site and noticed it too. hiding a players stats is shady as fuk. and yes i will agree with op , it looks like a scam and a scam is not only when money is outrightly taken from you. luring people against their will is a scam
Scam if there's a complaint against them, players losing money from their wallet.

I guess just give them enough time to fix this issue, in fact for the meanwhile, you can choose other gambling sites that suit your taste, there are too many of them that you can choose. But calling a scam isn't appropriate, they had been here for how many years and I think they will not ruin their reputation for a small amount that you deposited.

Speaking of manipulated, I don't think so. Because you yourself can verify your account status.
1733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Constructive Financial Advice Needed on: November 01, 2020, 03:38:31 PM
OP your post is one of the longest I have read in the forum and you did reply to "jackg" almost of the same length but that is fine and wxa7115 is right to copy-paste is not allowed to avoid doing that for you not to ban.

Anyway regarding your post I also came from a 3rd world country so I can feel you because I know how hard to live in our country that you are always pushed to the limit just to survive. I know you're optimistic you tend to see the positive side always however you have the tendency of getting stressed easily for you always put attention you are very eager to achieve your goal and that makes it hard for you if you failed to get it on your target time.

I've been through these and in fact most of the time I am experiencing it still but what I often do is that in every goal I always backed it up of a next plan so if in case I failed to do it then I know I always have the second chance to achieve it. Focused but sometimes try to loosen up breath freely as if it is another day for us to succeed.
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While we're on Halloween, Remember this date! on: November 01, 2020, 01:27:23 PM
There might be a lot of factors why Satoshi took 2 months before bitcoin was released, it could be the holiday season or could also be he is still in the process of ironing some possible flaws which he thinks might hinder the adoption of bitcoin to many.

Though these are only assumptions the mere fact it took him 2 months before bitcoin was released from the first time it was published in whitepaper still he was able to make it perfect that no one can break this type of cryptocurrency.

On the other hand, the drawing is good because I really don't have talent in drawing so much I appreciate taking time to draw and posting it on this thread.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 31, 2020, 09:09:05 PM
For people who look sports betting as entertainment they tend to play with a single bet for it doesn't matter to them whether they lose or win instead they see it as fun besides, oftentimes they are only after on the result of the game and not with what they can earn from their bets.

Moreover, people who do multiple betting takes the game more seriously for they see it as another way to earn and tends to be more emotional with the results after the game has ended. Nevertheless, it will still depend on how you see and how much you are attached to the betting but the risks are still the same since no one can know the result until the end of each game.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Crypto Poker Ecosystem on: October 31, 2020, 08:50:18 PM
Where is OP? Please give us an update.

I agree that the project is really good if it aims to lessen the flaws that players often encounter with the other poker gaming platforms but when you say "our coin" it is too vague that will rises too many questions as well. It will be better if you say it more specific because like if it refers to another cryptocurrency then most of the poker fanatics will not buy it right away they might question you is the cryptocurrency that can be use is only for internal or, can be use external as well where if it is going to be external then it is much easier but if it internal. It can't be use outside then they will have regression in patronizing your project .

Looking for your update.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 31, 2020, 08:14:03 AM
How sad story, the police law enforcer was trying to stop illegal activities like this cockfighting but it ends up he was a victim after all.
I don't know what is the whole story happened but I'm thinking that it was only an accident. Poor police enforcer, I guess he did not know how to handle a fighter cock and it was accidentally hit the metal spurs on the chicken, it is very sharp and as I heard, sometimes it has a poison that the rooster will easily die once it is hit by the very sharp metal on the leg.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: October 30, 2020, 06:47:47 PM
Sit back, relax and enjoy the show, that is how I looked at it every time I play gambling it is all about entertainment whether I win or lose it is fine with me for I don't take gambling as part of my earning instead as for fun.

If my wager wasn't accepted by the gambling website because of the slow transaction it doesn't matter to me neither I will pay for a higher fee just to get confirmed in my transaction though it might have a little impact and might as well regret it after finding out that supposedly I should win if my wager went through but that is not enough for me and decide to spend more in the transaction fee I just say to myself I guess it is really not for me.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: October 29, 2020, 03:33:11 PM
I choose and voted for 100%.
I'm certain that they will have an access to my bitcoins if I passed anytime since bitcoin is quite different from my other assets which the law can easily identify who is the righteous inheritor of my assets while with bitcoins no laws can break the key and get access on it.

And for me not to let my bitcoins go to trash when I die as early as today my kid knows my password anyway at the end of the day it is still my kid will benefit all my hardship and the only thing I must do is to let him know and learn how to value these assets that he will inherit.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 29, 2020, 03:15:32 PM
I guess this is not the first time that this topic has been discussed, and there are lots of suggestions and ideas were given.

Bitcoins for me is the same as with the other treasure that a person can have and securing it is really necessary and if someone who owns bitcoin and suddenly died and he didn't provide the key to others then the bitcoin will remain secret forever and no one will benefit from it that is why we still need to look for someone whom we really trust and think is the right to inherit our bitcoins and give them the key like our own kids anyway everything we have aside from bitcoin still they are the legal inheritor of everything we own.

It's only our responsibility to teach our kids how to value the things they will inherit from us including bitcoins because even law couldn't break the key to our bitcoin wallet so IMO better to give it as early as possible beside if they will not give value on it then it will be their loss and not us anymore.
