1861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to transfer money to an exchange on: September 11, 2020, 08:09:13 PM
That's right, buying form the p2p exchange or either in an ATM machine near you through the help of this https://coinatmradar.com/, just simply input the place where you live.

I have a tip for you if you want to transfer with the cheapest fee, don't use your credit card because that has a ridiculous fee but the good thing is a very fast transaction, while on the other hand bank account is slower but it has a low fee.

Juts follow of what suggested above they are also good suggestion.
1862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Eterbase Exchange Hacked, Don't Leave Your Funds on Any Exchange! on: September 11, 2020, 07:33:23 PM
~snip~
this is an exit scam.
I doubt also that this is an exit scam but if the coins have been traced and they said to the exchange to freeze the fund. I don't know if someone will do that thing. We may I guess to think of an inside job of course because this is rare to happen that someone can access the cold wallet which is very hard. Cold wallet credentials need to access physical stuff like a laptop or hardware wallet before you can access it, and why has that happened.

Don't leave your fund on an exchange, that is right. If you are not actively in trading much better to pull out your fund into your wallet or much better if there's no choice, just choose a reputable exchange where you can be trusted over your fund. The reason why I always choose a reputable exchange that your fund is always secured, just like Binance, they had secured funds for their users or SAFU.
1863  Economy / Economics / Re: PornHub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin (News coincides with BTC decline?) on: September 11, 2020, 07:10:50 PM
~snip~
Pornhub announced support for bitcoin and litecoin on september 1st. A large downtrend in BTC price followed shortly thereafter.
I heard this before that they are accepting bitcoin as payment of membership but now they are totally announced of supporting bitcoin and not the only bitcoin but also altcoin.

This is also a marketing strategy because I saw there that they had an advertisement from a stake.com a gambling site which is also use cryptocurrency.

Well, this adult site is very popular for all adults and I guess most who visited here are of course are adults. Another positive points to bitcoin when they saw this ads pop up on their screen upon searching for a good videos.
1864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best trading platform for beginners? on: September 11, 2020, 06:58:40 PM
Hitbtc exchange is the best for noobs, this has been my favourite among the listed cryptocurrencies exchange. Trading involves mostly altcoins which are available on Hitbtc but other exchanges listed above are good but won't be easy for those beginners as many of the newly altcoins might not be available for trade. We'll know that, listing on binance exchange is more like hell to some good and sound project but Hitbtc is one of the cheapest to list, so, is the best for noobs.
They totally suck, the support team is very slow of having a response in any issues submitted and I don't recommend this for beginner because once you have a mistake they don't answer your request. Another thing also has very high fees upon withdrawal, how could you recommend this to the beginner.

Binance that the most they are suggested, I'm okay with the Binance though they had a good reputation and also good interface for the user. But when it comes to a newbie, always be careful upon using an exchange, we know that the newbie is always a prey to the expert traders. I suggest not doing in trading if you don't have enough skills and knowledge on trading because trading isn't easy task to do.
1865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Are Trying To Break Into This Bitcoin Wallet Holding $690 Million on: September 10, 2020, 02:05:48 PM
~snip~
That's a completely worthless article not worth being mentioned.
Exactly right, there are too many scenarios like this, and the fact I saw many threads that they are offering service like cracking key and pass through wallet.dat, but the fact that it is impossible to hack an encrypted wallet if that was I'm not mistaken but this is relatively incident.

The article is unclear information, even the author didn't know if that has come from the wallet.dat file or just a fake one.

Scammers these days will also struggle of exchanging their scammed crypto to a centralized exchange because once that is linked as a scam wallet. It can be tracked by bitcoin scam tracking services.

1870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: September 02, 2020, 01:01:48 PM
Every Cryptocurrency is risky but it gives high profit too. Until this time I never had lended my crypto but rather I have invested on some smart contract project. If you want to lend your crypto then you have to bear risk as well. But From my friends I have heard that "Blockfi" is a good site for investement and they never had loss. So I prefer investment on Block fi is good
Both parties I guess in risk if you are in a business of crypto lending. The only thing solution is to provide collateral with high potential value more than what you have borrowed. If you have plan a business like this don't think to cash out ever, because when there is bull run or downtrend of course that price will matter on that movement.

If you are long term holder of crypto, lending business is good for you. But first, make sure the borrowers should have this collateral for your won safety.

I never tried Blockfi, I only heard them.
1871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What advice will you give to a beginner trader? on: September 02, 2020, 11:44:01 AM
Remember that day trading and long term trade are far different from each other. As a beginner, copy trading from other portfolio is a nice idea as what give idea above and that is extremely right that using Etoro trading platform is a good exchange to choose.

Well, this is very common question and the fact, you can simply googling it for more information you will gather.
I saw the traders tips article and I guess this will help you. Read this if you have time.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 10:55:14 AM
If bitcoin has mempool that every transaction I guess maybe clogged up anytime. The same as Ethereum network, due to this defi projects and the most projects that operate using the network of ethereum.

Back to normal? I guess this maybe take the time or it becomes never. I suggest if you have a transaction just paid a higher amount because it takes days before it will confirm the network.
1873  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Casino and Betting Advantages For Online Gamblers on: September 01, 2020, 09:10:12 AM
The OP was extremely right, even these two that have been mentioned by the OP. The promotion and the wide variety of games are the most important feature that the gamblers looking for and the next is the reputation of the site.

As we can see, there are too many gambling online companies that have been launching their businesses online. Other's from fiat accepting to bitcoin and from offline turns to online gambling games. These advantages were really true for online gambling especially if online gambling was used crypto for betting that seems they can hide their identity.
1874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which type of trading you think is good? on: September 01, 2020, 08:41:10 AM
I have a small correction in your title thread, it should be talking about the trading strategies.

The best if you will apply both of them, you cant proceed to technical analysis if you don't have these news events that I guess have also an effect on the bitcoin price. Sometimes we need to listen to the news like hacking or scam events like a big exchange, which I guess will cause of price downtrend. Both of them will work together as one, just like joining one force that means your prediction is more likely accurate to the possible outcome.
1875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading group on: September 01, 2020, 08:16:23 AM
I just want to communicate with the threaders.
Mostly they are in the telegram community, just like Binance, they had a local community where you can talk about trading but exclusively on Binance. I don't particularly interested in that group, sometimes I realized they are fooling newbie with the pump and dump coins.

But comment above was right, as long as it is free to join, that is good but the paid signal, I don't think if they are real.
1876  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.com - unable to send bought bitcoins via credit card on: August 30, 2020, 11:21:49 AM
Now I can see a message saying: Your BTC will be available to be withdrawn within 7 days.
I feel scammed...all times before it was instant so when I know this, I would never use this service. Will close my account when funds released..
And guess what about support and my ticket... 30 hours with no reply!
The reason why I did not use a web wallet at all.

I never use this web wallet because I heard a lot of issues back then. Fully open-source wallets are much better to store your bitcoin or Electrum because it has a feature of supporting the Lightning Network which is you can reduce the fees.

Good thing you have been learn from this mistake and I hope others will do.

1877  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: August 30, 2020, 10:54:15 AM
I would say that long term investments have a lot less risk compared to short term ones,
That's extremely right, less risk in holding long term but I guess low of profit earning compared to day trading which high risk.

This is basic strategy, buy low and sell when it comes the price becomes high. You can also hold for a long term and forgot your bitcoin in a year but of course not the key and should store in a safe wallet.

This depends on you if you are willing to risk high that potential also to have high profit, is your call. But if you want the safest way like you have a pension in the future then, holding is the best for you.
1878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 30, 2020, 07:52:05 AM
I just want to know what their reaction upon teaching you about bitcoin, how they give a response to it.

This is a good deed to bitcoin and the community if everyone will like this. The population that I guess has the interest in bitcoin will grow for sure. But I'm just curious why OP advertise the name of Freebitco.in gambling site, is because he wanted to them to collect the free bitcoin that Freebitco.in has or just a gambling habit purpose. Whatever it is, only OP knows the sole purpose of it.

I'm glad to hear people talking like this, I hope everyone does the same.
1879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Phishing Emails like this on: August 29, 2020, 11:19:19 AM
If you are using your email as an airdrop hunting, I guess this is very common. But I don't usually check emails on my email address especially if come from the spam inbox. The best thing is ignore all messages in your inbox that used in airdrop hunting.

It's prone to be compromised email addresses for airdrop hunting, that's why always separate your email account from your personal email address.

This is an old trick and very common hack, thanks to OP by sharing this. I also joined LA TOKEN airdrop but I didn't mind who sent me a message. Just use dummy accounts for your airdrop hunting and you will be fine.
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Stop bitcoin? on: August 29, 2020, 10:41:52 AM
Satoshi Nakamoto has done a great job in bitcoin invention, his idea is what many of us are celebrating and enjoying today and we are grateful to have such a great idea, we have all believed that by the decentralized nature of bitcoin, it should be unstoppable by any government, even by Japan where Satoshi was claimed to be a citizen. Now that his idea has been propelled far and wide, do you think he has the capacity to stop it again?
If you have been accomplished such wonderful things and you are a creator. Would you able to destroy this even it took for how many years before you build the system? I don't think if he created bitcoin for only days or weeks, my guess it is years before he/they completed the code of bitcoin. So, what is the purpose of destroying this?

Satoshi Nakamoto has nothing to do with bitcoin even if he reveals his self. The demand and supply were on the hand of bitcoin believers as an holder, that's the price works on.
