1661  Economy / Economics / Re: More Banks maybe Closed and cryptocurrency exchangers are new way of banking on: November 26, 2020, 09:47:15 PM
Replacing the traditional bank with binance or other cryptocurrency exchanges may not be possible yet because these two have different capabilities or we could say traditional banks have a wider range of roles and responsibilities when it comes to the finances of an individual or an institution.

It is easy for some to say that replacing banks with stablecoin exchanges or having binance in different locations because it can suit their needs but we should understand that we all differ in many aspects especially on our financial status and that is what traditional bank is for, to meet the financial needs of all with respect to the regulations set to these banks by the central authority.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: US people are buying LTC while the other world is avoiding it on: November 26, 2020, 09:32:27 PM
The calculation made by OP really confused me and what does it do with US citizens if the internet users he is referring to are around the globe. No one can claim nor conclude that if someone uses the internet it automatically has or at least own 1 LTC in fact most of the internet users in our country are not even aware of any cryptocurrency including the young ones.

In general, the prediction of LTC price can be $119 is fair enough for this year or on the following year but to reach its ATH of $300+ may not be possible as of now since bitcoin is now getting popular due to Paypal's affiliation that makes the bulk of demand right now from the basin of all cryptocurrency is in bitcoin then LTC most likely will be left behind.
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please remember ----> Bitcoin is a Peer-to-Peer digital payment network :-> on: November 26, 2020, 09:20:04 PM
Due to the ATH people including bitcoin holders are dashing to do what they wanted to do because of their respective goal for having bitcoins. Two things first, selling because of the price when converted into fiat will surely boost their ego and consider themselves successful investors, and second, buying because of the ATH and massive bull run that will continue and might give them hopes of getting successful as investors in the bitcoin world.

Without considering the possible outcome after they bring off their plan into action when we reach another ATH this year then regrets will be the prize for their atrocious decision. However, since we are in the midst of speculations and possible correction may occur after ATH like what we had in 2017 we cannot blame some investors to sell their bitcoins to secure their assets which if these investors will not be reminded like OP is doing right now then correction may become a reality afterward.
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Want For Christmas? on: November 26, 2020, 08:33:55 PM
Of course, lots of promotions will be rolled out this holiday season in any gambling sites and if I will be given a chance to what I should experience this time in gambling, that is to take home a "jackpot prize" lol.

Seriously, It is normal that during the Christmas season bonuses are being offered just to attract a lot of players but what should they do this time is something different which could be ingrained in the mind of those who will participate in the said promotion for it will not only entice the people to play but it will also embed to them about what the casino or the gambling sites has done this time for them.
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next big thing in Bitcoin/Crypto? on: November 23, 2020, 09:48:50 PM
~snip~
What do you think is next?
Next? I'm waiting when a country of America and other countries that banned bitcoin will adopt bitcoin and allow people to use it and be acceptable in all medium exchanges worldwide. It's kind of a big event right there, even if the president of the US will announce legalizing crypto usage.

Beyond that, I guess there's nothing to be a big next event, we had all it now and I think people have learned already about crypto. For over 10 years plus of existence, the awareness was now continuously scattered.

The next big event that I expected is the worldwide adoption of crypto, especially bitcoin.
1666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have found a good Trading Course on: November 23, 2020, 09:33:41 PM
Thank you for sharing this information, it is very helpful to us as new in trading.

I agree with the earlier post that this is very helpful and it proved that gaining knowledge on the internet or any educational purpose on the web was still there if you are patient and hardworking in searching informative source regarding trading, from time to time of having research you definitely learned to trade by your own.

I already bookmarked the Youtube channel you have shared, it will surely worth it to watch once I have time.
1667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quick Help Me about scammy exchange on: November 23, 2020, 09:18:58 PM
~snip~
I cannot believe it bro...
I lost $250 like that..
You need to move on and learn from this mistake, next time do proper research before you will transfer your token there. Exactly, don't make too much drama, instead, pull your token back if you cant, then it's wasting of time. I don't know why there are some people who are contented to use the exchange site as long as they see that there's a high volume.

There's nothing you can do is accept the fact and next time choose the right exchange or much better a decentralized exchange for your token. Or wait to be list in a decent exchange.
1668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots: Traders Take On Them on: November 23, 2020, 08:45:03 PM
Everyone wants to make a profit from trading cryptocurrency. And there are lots of users or people in the crypto world who offered Crypto Trading Bots. Do you think it is advisable to take this kind of scheme? Is it really legit to use trading bots? https://crypto.co/technology/crypto-trading-bots-traders-take-on-them/
Scheme? I guess trading bots don't scheme on my side.

They are just a tool to be used in trading and they won't be worked if you don't know how to set up a bot. In short, the trading bot will work just because of you, and it will execute on behalf of you when you are away from your computer or even while you are sleep.

If you will have a plan to use a trading bot, make sure you aren't a newbie in trading. Because this automated tool will not work on its own without your command. Still, you will be used your strategy and skills.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 23, 2020, 08:35:37 PM
The purpose of Argentina's government is good because we know that most countries now are struggling to recover their economy that most countries the same problem and how to solve it, due to the pandemic, governments worldwide seeking a way to recover this problem.

We know that the gambling industry has a big help and most of them are now operating continuously, they are good of a source of revenue, and increasing their tax is reasonable and worth it for the sake of their economic growth. But do you think this will affect the gambling business?
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 08:28:25 PM
When you talk about Bitcoin first thing which most of us thinks either it's a get rich quick scheme or an investment scheme. Did Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin as an investment scheme? No, it was supposed to be a peer to peer payment transaction across borders without involvement expensive money exchangers or regulators but it has been turned into an investment scheme, where are we heading ? Do you think Bitcoin is losing its original purpose of its invention?
Exactly, but there are some circumstances in that bitcoin didn't fit into the payment system. You know why? Because of the high fees on it and a slightly slow when it comes to transactions. This is what Nakamoto wants to be a worldwide payment system, but I think the barrier to become on that goal is that bit6coin fees and slow transaction. I guess the reason why people choose to keep their bitcoin and wait until it will fluctuate and make a profit.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 22, 2020, 05:47:57 PM
As I know, there are a few non-custodial wallets that are also Dex or they called open- source and can be used in selling but I haven't tried any of those as of the moment but you may try checking other exchanges that I guess meet your needs in the future after your concern with Coinbase.

I couldn't say that you were scammed since you mentioned that you've been with coinbase for years now and it only happens every time we are near the ATH and the only thing I can suggest is for you to get in touch with the coinbase support desk and hopefully it will be fixed before the ATH and you will not miss this for the second time.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake or nitrogen my point of view on: November 22, 2020, 05:22:26 PM
I also go with Stake, I've been playing with Nitrogensports for quite a while and just experienced Stake for a few months now and the same with OP I find it better to place your bet in Stake.com.

I doubt that Nitrogen is aware that they started losing players for these reasons because they should address this right away and cope up in order not to be left behind by other betting platforms like Stake.

Though some will consider this as another paid advertisement on my end I would really prefer to be with Stake because of the benefits and convenience they provide to their customers like me.
1673  Economy / Economics / Re: [stocks] is there a good benchmark to compare yourself against for value invest? on: November 22, 2020, 04:54:39 PM
The industry average is the only tool that I know so far that businesses use to determine if they are still on goal or if they are still hitting the benchmark. Strategies to become good investors can be gained along the way there are also a lot of possible indexes that you may check as well for you to have an idea of where and when to invest in a specific business.

However like you mentioned this is for value investing that the return is a bit low which I may not try patronizing anymore since the risk is the same as with cryptocurrency yet trading in bitcoin can give us a better return which I value as of the moment.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 21, 2020, 07:33:13 PM
Another form of advertisement is the only thing that I can see here because it can gain attention and increase the numbers of players but in the end, there are still ways on how you can override this "player protection" feature that they are offering and we are all aware that there is no business who will put a limitation on their profit.

If I may say there is no gambling sites nor casinos who will mind if their players are getting addicted to the services they are offering because that will make them more profitable.

However, these feature stop-loss limits can be of help to some depending on how a gambler will respond to such a feature.
1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Callum Smith Super Middleweight Title on: November 21, 2020, 07:14:59 PM
Canelo will definitely able to win in this match and I guess he just wants to get rid of his boredom, Lol.
Or I should say that he is just doing some warm ups for the meantime while preparing for a bigger fight in the future and not to get weaken while waiting for it.

Though Canelo has the edge in this fight he must not remain complacent for Caleb is still an undefeated boxer and one mistake from Canelo in this match could worsen his boxing image and Caleb will replace him in the limelight in an instant for Caleb have also shown good fights before that made him as an opponent for Canelo in this match.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 20, 2020, 08:54:49 PM
Is that illegal?
~snip~
It's not illegal, These games is run by the government-owned sweepstakes organization. I'm also thinking why would OP post a crumpled paper as a ticket.
If not, then why I didn't see the official logo on the receipt?

Guessing random numbers are very hard to do, it's very slim your chances of winning. As we can see, most people who bet on the lottery were commonly poor people, seeking their luck that it could be changed their life status once they were lucky enough and hit the jackpot.

I don't how the local lottery works, but the best to bet and purchase a ticket on the 6/42 draw is having a very huge prize.
1677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 20, 2020, 07:58:01 PM
That's a huge loss, imagine there's someone who bet Trump with the amount of $5M it seems that the gambler was trusted too much and be confident that Trump will re-elect but the result is Biden was won and elected as the US president. Very lucky to those who bet with Biden, they are now happy to have their winning profit from betting.

To the bookmakers that allow betting presidential results, pretty sure they also earn profit from having a huge fee for those who have win.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎄 Top Christmas Casino Bonuses You Don’t Want to Miss Out On 🎄 on: November 20, 2020, 07:26:01 PM
Black Fridays are always attractive. I always wonder how it is that they have such offers. The word black actually doesn't sound positive at all.
Then you better think of a different color.
Black Friday is different from Christmas day, I guess nothing special on black Friday while on Christmas there is a massive promotion in any business industries and good to know OP has been shared this website, the Christmas casino bonus which very common at this season.

Upon checking on the website, only a few of the gambling sites that were listed there I had known, most of them are unpopular.
Can you make also a list that includes those gambling sites that were having ads here?

1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 19, 2020, 09:29:35 PM
We live in a time when many people are looking for all kinds of ways to launder money. If they use a betting platform for that, it could make sense.
Then they have to convert it from crypto to fiat, otherwise it has little value. And I don't think gambling companies can afford just anything to accept all kinds of money in crypto and then pay it out to a bank account, for example. There will be stricter supervision of this via a bank account transfer.

Why people think that laundering money is something new?! It's done before crypto, a long time before crypto! And even now with crypto you still need banks, you can't bypass them in laundering process! And of course that some criminals are using crypto, we are using crypto too, it makes many things easier!
Exactly, not only in cryptocurrency will prone to these bad people or gangsters. Even though using fiat they have also existed. They just taking advantage of the feature of what Bitcoin had, they can transfer their fund anywhere thinking that the transaction is not traceable. But they wrong regarding that matter.

From time to time when we want to withdraw our fund that comes from bitcoin it will always go through a centralized exchange. And most local exchanges where you can exchange bitcoin for cash are now required KYC. But I am curious about the gambling site they used, why they don't have KYC of the big withdrawal they had.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 19, 2020, 09:20:21 PM
He might have talked to his friends about the loss and tried to repay them bit by bit instead of committing suicide. The main cause seems to be the lack of communication that the boy may had with his friends or parents. Many friends of mine lost in IPL but they did not take this step as it is life and shit hits fan sometimes, does not mean we should give up but try to change it in our way.
That's a problem of people that can't manage themselves, they need guidance from someone else just not to commit a serious mistake that you can never undo and that is suicide. I guess the boy did not have parents or friends that give advice to him. Gambling will really change your life if you will able to manage it, but if not, it will ruin the life that makes you miserable that will end up of thinking ending your life.

We should always put our mind to gamble always of what we can afford. Controlling your emotion over gambling and don't let this over power by you.
