@ CYPER
I was searching webshops for high end PSU to power the new Ants I ordered from BITMAIN. Every highend PSU with a decent price was sold out. People are buying in mass highend PSU, I never saw high end PSU sold out, not even in the GPU era. Only Enermax Platimax PSU with more than 1200 watt was available. Those Platimax are not worth for those prices. I remember that you highly recommend EVGA Supernova G2 PSU. I never used EVGA before, those Supernova G2 was the only high end that is immediately available. Although I never have heard of Super Flower, the OEM that made EVGA Supernova G2 PSU, I decide to give it a try.
I must say, I don't regret it. The build quality is very good and the red sleeved cables are very sexy. And best of all, the price is FUCKING good compared with other brands.
I concur Best PSU for the money.

Ive tried reseting everything and running through it again but 192.168.1.99 still brings up nothing. Is there something I need to do to set up my network to access 192.168.1.x I feel like I'm missing an important step which is being glossed over here, can someone please help
What is your home network? Is the 3rd digit the same as the miner? 192.168. 1.x

Received 6 Ants today and I can't open the web interface of the 3rd one. I tried resetting it with the button and still nothing The first 2 are running great and I did exactly the same thing with the 3rd one - plug the PCI-E cables + ethernet and then power one. I use a 16 port switch. I started 2 Ants on the same PSU comparing the flashing lights: they were the same. Just the one, which I have already setup with pool details started hashing and the other one cannot be accessed Any ideas? Success: miner is now working. I don't know what fixed but exactly, but I reconnected all cables and voilla = it is hashing now.

flipping UPS. they delivered 2 miners today. 1 no charge than second 2 hours later with different tracking details. second one courier asked for 65 pound and when challenged for receipt he said he will not gonna provide one. so my missus said she will not pay anything without receipt, and she asked this courier how he know what should I pay. guy was surprised and when missus asked him to wait she will call ups he changed his story and provide a receipt for one miner 65pound.
beware guys as UPS or courier seems to make another wages by collecting money not backed up by any receipt.
what's funny is that every time when miners coming and I have to pay backed up by receipt its the same amount. which is 37 pound per miner. but when delivery guy trying to ask for money without receipt he asking for different amount. so conclusion is simple- delivery man making another wages by asking for money in exchange for package from China. Always ask for receipt and don't let it go if they refuse to give u one at the doorstep. U have to prove that u paid in case of any complication.
Last order I paid 216GBP for 9 Ants For this order I paid 102GBP for 6 Ants, which is even cheaper That is good news Btw I though you were in Russia. You are русский right? Нет, българин And my russian is not very good

Sorry in advance if this has been discussed before 1) Powering
Note: New Antminers come with 2xPCIe 6 pin connector ports, so no extenders or cable cutting is required.
May I please confirm that I will be able to power 2 x Feb batch antminers with 1 x Seasonic 1000w platinum PSU http://www.seasonicusa.com/Platinum_Series.htmAND that I will not need to buy PCI-e entender cables to prepare ? According to pages 49 and 51 of the manual http://www.seasonicusa.com/images/BrochureManuals/P_series_Manual.pdfthe PSU include 6 x PCI-E 6/8 Pin Connectors I thought a 6 pin PCI-e plug was limited to 75W, whereas each blade probably uses 180-200W Does this mean each antminer comes with 4 x PCIe 6 pin connector ports ? or just one connector per blade ? Thank you 75W per cable is rubbish. They can carry 320W at least with proper 18AWG wire, which most good PSUs use. Each board has 1x 6 pin PCI-E connector, so 2 per miner. You will be absolutely fine with this PSU.

Also what is the watt at normal settings at 180 gh speed
You are extremely annoying
|
|
|
Also question for Cypher (thanks for the stock wattage reading!); have you tried ocing the unit and what wattage does your unit run at?
I haven't. Might play with it tomorrow before it is gone.

"About how much is the customs fee? TIA"
If you are in UK, about 35 Pounds each, if you're in the good ole US, $0.
I paid 216 for 9. But there was no consistency in the charges. I received 3 invoices (as the Ants were 3x3) and each got a different amount.

I played with mining.thegenesisblock.com calculator The only way this would be profitable in $$ terms (forget about bitcoin!) would be if bitcoin price rise to at least $1500 and mining starts in April or price to $2500 and mining in May or price to $4000 and mining starts in June. All of this with 72% difficulty rise in a month that we are currently at (for the last 3mo on average).
If you peek at the projected difficulty in 2017 you would see that the total surface of the earth would not be enough for all the chips needed for that difficulty I pity highschoolers who have to call others names in order to make a point. That said, three months projection is NOT a 3 year projection, duh! 70-80% monthly projection made 3 months ago by the referenced site turned out to be pretty accurate, but go ahead, make a better one....crickets. that genesis block calc is garbage Not perfect by any means, but gives rough estimates for 2-3 months plus it is easier to compare different machines. You can adjust difficulty rise manually as well. I get it that it cannot adjust difficulty at varied % going forward, but as a short term tool it is OK-gave approximately correct projections for Feb14 in Nov13. I tried several other calculators-they all work to some degree-coinplorer and bitcoinx.com being probably the best. Let me help you here with possibly the most realistic calculator: http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php

I measured 320W stock. Also CX500 has only 34A on the 12V line, so might not be enough for overclock.
I have 3 cx500 and all 3 miners are overclocked and working just fine without problem. I am not surprised, but you are reaching the limit of the PSU, so it might die sooner than later

The CX750's have 4 PCIe connectors but they are doubled up on only 2 sets of wiring so if you plan to max out the power draw realistically you should be careful not to burn your wires. A couple pages back there is a photo from someone who burned up the wires on their CX600 which has two connectors on one set of wires. You're slightly wrong, cyper didn't burn up his cx600m. He was using an extender cable on his cpu power cable and the extender burned up. I'm currently using the same cx600m that has a single pcie with split ends. At default clocks, the psu is holding up well. The wire gets extremely warm but not hot. I don't understand how people read one thing and get it all switched around and post something different. It's like that gossip game kids play where you whisper something in someone's ear and pass it down. So much wrong info by the end of it. Yes and the Ebay seller who sold me the extension cables refunded me today. The CX600M have more than enough power for even the highest possible overclocked Ant. Just make sure you cut and strip the CPU cables and use these for one of the boards. Also the max Amp per 12V cable for 24/7 use according to CoolerMaster is: The official standard only allows for 75W on a 6-Pin PCI cable. I don’t know why this value is so low (it’s not a free specification for some reason). More info here: http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#eps8I found several different information as to the max Amp on one cable (7A for 18 AWG seems most common) so 252W per cable. Unofficially it would be ok but it’s at your own risk! Just make sure you have plenty of airflow running over those cables. I don’t know why there are only three cables included. We can send you another cable. Please send us your full address. Kind regards, Michiel Bos Cooler Master service department And the max safe temp is: Apologies for the late reply. That is correct, all cables are rated 80 degrees Celsius for testing. You can withstand temparature up to 80 degrees Celsius with any issues.
Kind regards,
Michiel Bos Notes: Stock power consumption is approx 360w and approx 400w-ish for OC power consumption.
Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
P.S. a Corsair CX-500 will work just fine with 1 ant miner (42A on the 12v line; same as the CX-600).
I measured 320W stock. Also CX500 has only 34A on the 12V line, so might not be enough for overclock.

Hi all. I just bought one Antminer S1 and have a questions: 1. Do I need to buy a PSU? 2. If so, could you suggest which is the best? 3. Do I need to buy anything else to get it mine? I'll donate to best answer and will try to answer similar questions in another forums, trying to get donations # 1- Yes 2 - Corsair CX700M is a cheap and good one 3 - Ethernet cable and ATX Bridging plug.

I call this bad news.
So they are building a massive mining farm for themselves (probably already partly built) and if they are late they give us coins. Sounds good until you think what late really means - until the end of 2nd quarter of this year, so end of June.
They have not defined precise meaning of the word late, so what they say means absolutely nothing.

Hello. I have since yesterday following problem: Trying to make a payment, specify the desired amount and takes the following message umenja Please_wait_for_autopayment! Then again in Biwa tighter amount and throws me on the "My Page" in MDM indicated Please_wait_2_minutes!. Waiting for more than 2 minutes and I want to make a payment and the same happens again. What could be the problem?
Empty hot wallet. Do not you understand? At the pool is not enough money to pay? Yes. Pool needs to be refilled by owner. And after some time, you can make payments? Usually yes.
