almost 2 hours.. not a block found in **pool.mn** is this ok or this pool has a problem? anyone?
I bet they are on a fork. The pool hash rate and the net hashrate are identical and 15 times higher than the other pools you better switch to another pool for the time being

You could create 500million coins now, but only release 100 million in the "IPO", saving the other 400 million for later, (or yourselves?) BTW, IPO stands for INITIAL Product offering. INITIAL means first. As in, there will be more later.

You may see racism, because that is what is in your mind. I was merely pointing, like I posted way back, that this IPO is nothing more than a scheme for the devs to make money fast. There will be more coins later in an additional IPO. Then there will be more and more investors. Original investors will sell part of their coins to newcomers. A pyramid scheme of sorts. Everyone wants to get in up front. Greed rules. Anyone that thinks there is a dollar to be made, will fall for this. The buyers on the exchanges will be few and far between. The future of this coin is what is happening here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=682646.new#newA pure POS coin.... sold out... value almost nothing... combining 3 coins into one and reissuing the coin with a POW to keep interest going. Oooh thnx God you are still alive. I though you dead. Very survivable troll, good. the rumors of my death have been slightly exaggerated

Would you mind explaining, how exactly we are going to do an additional sale, if all Cryptis in the PoS genesis block will go to the buyers and to the Foundation, right after the pre-sale period will end? ADD MORE COINS...........there is no limit to how many coins can be created. Its just a few mouse clicks and an edit in the java node

how much u planning to invest each
0.5 BTC at most, there are too many Chinese guys involved in this IPO, they know nothing excepting dumping&dumping&dumping, ROI is too low. how u know many chinese guys involved? You wont be able to count them, because by the time you are done counting, there are more. This is an uncalled for rude and racist comment. BTT is an international community. You might be joking, or not. But, if you are joking, it's not funny at all. You may see racism, because that is what is in your mind. Will this be the first ROT13 algo coin?

The difficulty is too large to mine with Minerd (cpu)
I suggested this just to see if you could connect to the pool with another program. I did not expect you to make a career of it. Although, minerd does well for me on DOGE on multipool. 4 CPU connections on one laptop gives me about 300 coins a day.
|
|
|
Also, they dont do math well. 10 million coins, 1000 per block, 10,000 blocks total, 1 minute per block... 83 days to mine ALL the coins...........YEESH!!!!!!
I guess this is what 14 year olds do in the summer now when school is out.

have you heard of "dispatch" ? url: http://www.connectify.me/dispatch/basically you can combine a bunch of wifi connections and share bandwith (use all your dumb neighbors who have OPEN or WEP and get like 100mbit/upload!! LOL) I have a server windows 2008 with a connection DL/UP 1 Gbps but I do not know if in my case it may be my stratum and then I do not know how ^ ^ have you tried using minerd for CPU mining of any coin? I found that minerd did not suffer from latency. It will wait and wait for response, even submitting stale shares if they are old enough.

Now there's a mad rush to sign up on Alcurex to dump the coins. Let's see where the price is tomorrow.
MAD RUSH??? The site still shows the same price for FRESH coin .00004994. VOlume of .0035BTC...... or about 70 WHOLE FRESH COINS!!! ALso, they are not responding with emails to confirm signups. Frankly, they seem about as reliable as the weather forecast.

I had that same problem when i was using a Satellite internet connection (Hughes Net). I was able to finally get DSL out here in the mountains, resolving the latency problem. You may have to switch to a cellular modem if you are using satellite. Your connection shows connection to 127.0.0.1 That would be a network connection to a subnet, not an Internet connection. Are you on a VPN or internal (work) network? I use cellular modem (ADSL) bridge modem "localhost is :127.0.0.1" Internet Speed Test :1,20 Mo/s "127.0.0.1" or "localhost"always work well for all crypto I mine solo then your latency problem is most likely within the cellular network.

I signed up 3 hours ago, and still have not received a email so i can confirm my sign-up. Bad Omen

The less power and electricity your algo uses, the more likely it is to be popular.

lets state a simple reality: those sellers are retards... I don't know what kind of profit they can make by selling so low... (or betarigs price is pretty low... or both...). or it is one of the most unprofitable coin ever made... (because of its giant hashrate...) I took a little side trip from mining JPC to see how this algo would work. Well, between the megarigs pumping out 40,000MH and the bugs in the pools, i have mined a total of 15 FRESH coins. I get 13MH with this coin, but could not find a block. Altpool has not found a block yet. I was their #1 hasher for awhile. I could have had 30K JPC instead. I returned to mining JPC hours ago. Now just waiting for the coins to mature and transfer so i can bail out. What kind of hashing power are you getting on JPC? 19MH using the updated drivers 14.6 for the 290 cards, and a custom kernel from djm34

A few hickups though: temp parameters aren't recognised (eg. --temp-cutoff) and I don't see temps/rpm displayed in the miner window. I'm rebooting the rig now to see if it's temporary...
Temp won't show due to the lack of ADL_SDK, go get em and copy to ADK_SDK folder http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/graphics-development/display-library-adl-sdk/Anyway, this build based on sgminer 5 beta so lots of parameters won't work anyone able to explain this in an easier way or another way to get the temps workings please ? and is it possible using this build to have the .conf file take effect ? have you tried using CGWatcher to monitor and control your miner program?

i only get 4.4MHash with my 290x Tri-X at 1100Mhz
as written in my message it is for the 14.6 amd driver. (now it is possible to use bin file made with other miner running on 14.6 if some people post them... ) i know, i got the 14.6 installed Have you tried deleting .bin files in miners dir and restarting sgminer? It should recompile .bin file for a new driver... I downloaded the new miner jpc miner, i extracted it in a new folder, copied my bat file in my old jpc miner and putted it in the new folder with the new miner. Then i get 4.4 Mhash i tried to delete the bin file in the new miner folder but still get 4.4Mhash so idk what im doing wrong here What command line/config are you using? Keep in mind, that --kernel jackpotcoin uses old, not optimized kernel (better for 5/6xxx cards) and --kernel jpc uses optimized kernel for R7/9 cards. Shit, i feel myself so dumb atm >.> that was the whole problem, i didnt used the new kernel in my bat. Now im on 6 Mhash with my original power usage. When i used the old kernel and the new driver my power usage raised about 60 Watts for 700 Mhash extra Now i got about 2.3 Mhash extra and the powerusage is back where it was when i user the old kernel and older driver. So thankyou very much a donation to djm34's wallet is in order. I mined for him for one day... 3900JPC as payment
