.... Verifying the identity should be an absolut minimum standard when you are looking to collect that much money and I really dont understand why people do not demand this more often.
So true... Hilarious to read all this stuff.. And even more hilarious to see how many people try (and often succeed) to rip off all those dumbasses who think they're going to get rich quickly... Seriously, is this ever going to stop? Ah well.. Stop? When it is no longer profitable. Remember when the classified ads in magazines had the "stuff envelopes at home, send $19.95 for complete kit and start making money today"ads? The poor smuck that sent in their 19.95 got a list of mailorder business that could be contacted to get work. None used outside stuffers, as most were automated or had in-house temp workers. But that did not stop it from being a profit generator for over 50 years. BTW, for 1BTC I will sent you a SOLAR CLOTHES DRYER. Never pay for electricity and gas again to dry your laundry. (you will get a clothesline and clothes pins)

Don't they (ids) just go like 50001, 50001 etc? What's the reason to hide them? It's not like every ID has unique combination of characters.
They are, however they still can be used to identify the account owner (as they the same as the referral ID), and Bter has specifically asked us to keep them private. I see. I forgot that there are only few hundreds investors among tens of hundred thousand Bter users, so in order to collect all data one have to check all IDe from 1 till the last registered user which is probably 100K or 200K, which is not as easy as just to copy/paste data if ID's are open to public. its close to 200,000 now.

On the 19th, that was the date that the coin Forked due to a bug in the PoS code. Therefore all the coins mined on that date wouldn't have been valid. This was not an issue with our pool. Is that so? I receive my coins (early 19.7) from dwarfpool with some delay. I can printscr my wallet if you want. And why you don't answer to my email? Great support. Further, I lost (personally) 500,000 JPC due to the fork - which I guess over all isn't that much - but it was basically the profits from the last month or so of the pool. I have a wallet file now that is unusable - just keeps coming up with "Mempool transaction" errors. Had to create a new wallet file for the relaunch. You are not performing cold storage backups frequently enough.

You are seriously looking to rise 300.000 USD? Did i get this right?
Are people really willing to throw that much money at somone totally unknown at the internet with nice promises?
Why is this ICO on Bittrex, not on Poloniex, where the dev would have to verify his identity?
Verifying the identity should be an absolut minimum standard when you are looking to collect that much money and I really dont understand why people do not demand this more often.
Strongly agree and have mentioned it in other recent Bittrex ICOs threads too. If on the level, the devs stand to earn more money by using Polo rules. I also don't quite get why Bittrex is running several ICOs so close to one another, or at the same time. Space them out a bit... each time people get burned (DCM, Iceberg), it just leaves behind a collection of wounded investors. They need time to heal. Polo Rules? Does that mean " give it a whack and gallop away on your horse'?

I think the problem is that the devs are experts in Java and programing languages, but not in Excel. Excel has a learning curve much higher than WORD.
Actually we have quite a detailed model in Excel since 21th thanks to Bitseed, however we decided to use it for internal reference only, as it does not include Maxmint data (which could be sent from same BTC address multiple times), not provides interactive marking of accounts to be refunded, nor provides any search facility via Bter ID while still preserving the ID's privacy. Unfortunately, programming the formula and running with it over the whole data-set, has proven to be somewhat more time consuming than expected. For sure!! I could see how much time this would take.. publicly viewable.. privately searchable.. floating percentages... It's not just a spreadsheet.. I forsee a potential problem in the future: ... A first day (30% bonus) investor/investors with a 10BTC investment refunds/sells their CRSHARE to Bter. Several 4th day (26% investors) investors on the waiting list are advanced to the payout list. There is a 4520 CXX difference per BTC invested between the 30% and 26% investors This then results in a shift in the amount of CXX for every investor, as now 45200 CXX will need to be reallocated among the original investors. It averages 60 CXX per BTC invested. Chump change, but significant to a 15BTC investor. My suggestion is that if this occurs, and investors ask for refunds after the ledger is published, that the CXX difference between the refunded shares and the waiting list shares be used for CXX development/promotion.

If we look at Bitcoin and Crypti proportionally 13mill:100mill or 1:7.69
For the capmarket caps to be equal then 1BTC=$623 1Ͼ=$80
For Crypti to take Litecoins #2 marketcap spot
1Ͼ=$2.60 or 0.004194216 btc
At 15k sat Cyrpti marketcap will be $9.2mill and take #11 spot
At 38k sat Cyrpti marketcap will be $23.5mill and take #7 spot and replacing Dogecoin
This all depends on how many Stack holders hold and how many buyers buy.
Or in other words: CXX has a present market cap of 750BTC. This will have to go up a multiple of 559 times to beat LTC. That would make each 1 BTC CRSHARE worth approx $350,000. Thats a rather high bar to clear. Better to compare CXX with Ripple and NXT, (also not able to be mined) at around $50 Million cap each. CXX has only to rise to $0.50 USD to be the #1 coin that cannot be mined.

Crypton has a nice ring to it, and is short and easy to pronounce. We can set up a poll on another thread, so any ideas would be welcome.
I also like this. But in bitcoin, it is easy to distinguish smaller units because of "micro" or simply "bit". Crypton doesn't have that same feature. I agree. However, if Crypti is set (as it would appear) to become a major global currency, a counterargument is that people without a science background (for whom microfarads might as well be something you heat up your dinner with) may more rapidly comprehend precisely what a Crypton is. Without more, a distinguishing feature may have greater traction in the long term. Edit: In fact, we do heat up our dinners with microfarads when we use microwave ovens, as they contain enormous capacitors and the unit for capacitance is the Farad. Oops Although catchy, Crypton will be confused with another cryptocoin, past, present or future. You also leave your self open for a copycat to use that name. Every good idea has a copycat it seems. There is a coin launching on this forum "Cryptonite". So I guess the possible names for the smallest division of CXX has lost CRYPTON and CRYPTONITE. You are back to Cryptoshi or Cryptavos. Yes it looks like Cryptoshi is in the lead https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=698740.0I must admit at first I didn't like it.. but the more I see it the more I like it... may be easier for the crypto world to understand its crypti's smallest unit, just based on the oshi in it... As well as it looks like CRYPTI is in the lead for the ticker... was CXX on the list? I don't see it there now? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=679779.0;viewResultsI'm not sure how much I liked this long of a ticker but this may leave out confusion later on when new investors want to buy it on the exchanges.. just a thought, I know anyone here would do the research on a crypto before investing but many may hear about this at the coffee pot and buy some on there lunch break... CXX is not posted as a choice YET! I did post a comment to have it added

I was rounding up to 1000 because I doubt that the price would ever break 1000 satoshi.
litoshi, what reasons cause you doubt that the price would ever break 1000 sat after launch on bter?
Becuz, if you look at alt coins without any community or ongoing dev support, like METH, Jackpot, Lottery coin or Asia coin, they quickly fall into the double and single digits. Why? Becuz they are not worth anything in the real world. You can only use them to trade for other alt coins. Whereas, alt coins with even a minimal community prosper: DOGE, MAX, URO, VIA, REDD. Looking at DOGE coin for instance. The price is now 38 sats, BUT there is a supply of 87 BILLION coins. Thats 870 times the supply of CXX. If CXX were to be equal in value to DOGE, CXX would sell for 38 times 870 equals 33060 sats. Thats $0.20 USD RIPPLE, which is not mineable, like CXX, has a supply of 100 BILLION COINS, 1000 times CXX. The RIPPLE price is 860 sats. If CXX were to gain par with this coin, CXX sells for 860000 sats or 0.0086 BTC. Thats $5.34 USD!! With all the hype about this coin, I fully expect it to sell on day one for an average of 5000 sats per CXX and go as high as 15000 sats, and a low of 1000 sats if there is a major dump. Once the emotion-driven traders have see-sawed the market, CXX will settle in a narrow trading range. At this point, the value of CXX depends completely on the attributes and features of the coin, the trust in the devs, and the chatter in the alt coin community. In short, the first few days will be emotional trading where greed and regret prevail. After that, value will determine the future of CXX. Price is what you pay, value is what you get.I'm confused. Why are you in this thread? Did you invest or not? I'm confused. Is this a closed topic? Is this topic only for investors? FYI, I have been lurking here since the second page, but delayed posting until page 13. I started out as a critic of this coin, having seen other similar IPOs come and go, resulting in BTC for the devs and dashed hopes for the investors. I started to trust the devs when they agreed to a 750BTC cap on the pre-sale. That showed me the devs were not just out for a quick buck and then disappear. If the pre-sale was still open, I am sure the investment would be around 2000BTC, diluting the coin value, but enriching the devs. This coin further gained my trust when I saw the effort they are putting into development, and not just cloning an existing coin with open source software. I do still have one lingering concern about CXX, and that is how they are going to maintain a large enough and sufficiently active hashing network so as to avoid double spending and coin cloning by a malicious party with a moderate amount of computing power. Miners perform this function for other coins, but since CXX is not mined, there are no miners. The truly professional coin launches are a rare find.

hi, dev, missed the first presale, can I join in now? how to? thanks.
There was only one presale and that is over now, you can join in after launch hope someone will back out from bter and do some refund. let more people after that can join in. When CXX is finally offered for sale on Bter, place a buy order for 1000 satoshi per coin. If it goes that low, you will be getting it for nearly the same price as the investors. IPO price works out to about 883 sat. Depends upon the bonus factor. On page 93 I posted an educated guess:We could be a little more precise and figure:
First 2 days with 30% bonus, 400 BTC invested............. 400X1.3= 512 parts Second official day with 29% bonus, 200 BTC................ 200X1.29= 258 parts Third official day with 28% bonus, 150 BTC.................. 150X1.28= 192 parts total BTC, 750. Total parts .................................................... 962 parts
Each part then is worth 88357 coins. Multiply parts by bonus to get:
Share with 30% bonus.......... 114864 coins Share with 29% bonus.......... 113981 coins Share with 28% bonus.......... 113097 coins
math check:
400 shares with 114864 coins each........... ~45.9million 200 shares with 113981 coins each.......... ~22.4million 150 shares with 113097 coins each.......... ~16.9million total.....................................................~85 million
Dont forget, the sale was for 75-85million coins, but finances 100million coins 962 parts divided into 100million coins times .00000001 becomes 962 satoshi per CXX. I was rounding up to 1000 because I doubt that the price would ever break 1000 satoshi. Once we see the ledger, we will know the exact cost. BTW, 30% bonus buyers get it a little cheaper than 28% bonus buyers
