I think his rig is running with 4 Ati R9 290s and they will be sucking up the power, so am not surprised if he is using a 1500W PSU for those. Even IF this were a legit coin, and not an obvious scam, the fact of a 50% premine makes the coin worthless. Even a 2% pre-mine results in a heavy dump on the exchanges as soon as it is listed. Why do you say solo mining isn't worth it now? Diff is in the 300-400s which is high, but not insane. At 77Mh 2 blocks a day would likely eclipse the profits found in a pool, right? Mining JPC today at 12MH returns about $3 in coins. Using 1500 watts for 24hrs, is 36 KWH (kilowatthours). In most of the country, that costs 20-30 cents a KWH, or $7-10. A net loss of $4-6 per day. Even in Central Washington State, where power is cheapest, at around 6 cents a KWH, that still runs around $2 a day. I pay 10cents a KWH, or about $90 a month extra on my power bill. $3 a day is just breaking even, and using up my hardware's life. |

The usual fate of new coins on MintPal is a slow race to the bottom. Look at METH. Debut 2 months ago, listed on Mintpal two weeks ago. Went from 2000 satoshi to 30 in a week. Now it is at 150 sell, 198 buy.
Check the forum for METH... nothing but bitching about a worthless coin.

My rig with 4@ 290s mines 4 pools at the same time, switching each GPU to the most efficient pool. It judges this on ping time, stale rate, hardware errors, rejected shares, etc.
To do this, all you need is to run CGWatcher and let it manage your miner. It will even monitor your cards for overheat and slow them down as necessary (mostly for scrypt mining this is needed, SHA3 and JPC are real easy on the GPUs). Other features include rebooting, coin profitability, multi profile settings, scheduling pool and coin changes. So haven't you figured the most profitable pool as yet? Pools go down. If I stuck with one pool, i could get hours of nuthin'. My rig gets 12MH, and divides it among 4 pools. Some JPC pools pay POS, others POW, and another POS/POW. My log file shows DEAD pools all the time. CGWatcher then keeps checking every minute or so until the pool comes ALIVE. Dont put all your eggs in one basket, diba. With CGWatcher,I can mine JPC for 12 hours, then Scrypt mine 10 diff pools for 2 hours, then mine MAX and 365 with Keccak for 10 hours... all without having to touch the rig.

This coin is everything that STACYcoin had promised; SHA3, flawless launch with miners, pools and wallets available prior. You did a good job, but without a real connection to the world, cybercoins are doomed.
Only problem with STACYcoin is that it never happened. There is a blog here, but it is long dead. the devs are either stalling, dead, or incompetent, or all 3.
I suggest you get in contact with Max Keiser and Stacy and offer to launch a STACYcoin with the exact same specs as METH. You will need them to pump it. The only reason MAXcoin is not at 1 satoshi, is because of Max's periodic pumping.
If you want to have a coin that will not sink like rock, I suggest you look into this, before another does.

The free coins are not worth anything to those that get them, so they will be rapidly dumped on an exchange. The price of this coin will be 1 satoshi very quickly and then 1 litetoshi after that.
Even a 2% premine is death to a coin.
The devs are just trying to cash in on the recent news story of the millionaire hiding cash in Frisco and tweeting the location. Kind of like throwing bait in a shark tank.
Anyone that wastes time mining this coin should sell his GPUs on Ebay and go back to playing Minecraft.

X11 miner only uses 2 of my 4 GPUs, and I get constant crashes.
I would rather see a SHA3 pool where we mine MAXCOIN, 365 COIN, and Cryptometh.

The option of a auto email or SMS at 24hrs will also increase your traffic.
