Are you going to be staking that 10% premine?

Of course I'm going to stake my coins.  I put a lot of time into creating everything and maintaining this thread, the information, etc.

A lot of that will end up being given away when I do a giveaway.

Staking 10% of the total supply?  Wow.

Some people never, never want to learn, always check a wallet at www.virustotal.com it take 1 min before you download it.

They are in a hurry to get some of the first blocks before the difficulty goes up.  Common sense goes out the window.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AdamCoin - Friendly User Mining Coin Released! on: April 20, 2016, 02:20:58 PM
23 virus alerts , oh shit yeah im all in here!!

the wallet has a virus and it infected my computer!!!

you fucktards!!!!

Well that sucks but there were plenty of warning signs.  The 4th post in the thread warned about a virus and the ANN had a link to an exchange for a different coin when this one was supposedly just launched.  Then there is the fact that the ANN was a copy paste from KittehCoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448003.0 and they didn't even bother to change the coin specifications.

Do yourself a favor and download virtualbox.  https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

actually if you look at the block explorer, you can see the top 100 wallet address, as well as what address have recieved what in their lifetime.  so we can just put anyones address in at anytime, see their balance, how much they have ever gotten . . no anonymity here sort of . .

That's assuming people use only one address.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: April 19, 2016, 08:28:11 PM

that's great, but don't make the same mistake as
https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_MCASH/

they started with 1sat... after LTC got in house price droped to 1ltoshi!

don't go into LTC or any other market, only BTC to make this coin great... or you will have a bag of funny money  Grin

You can't stop an exchange from setting up markets.

for market you are correct.. but people should think before making sudden dumps...

You're assuming that all people think.  Many don't.  Many lack critical thinking skills and only think about what's in front of them at any given moment.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: April 19, 2016, 08:26:25 PM
WOAH, already 40 million espers for sale on Nova !!!
Yeah!!! I transferred a million there to see how the exchange will work and see the market moves and just after set a sell at 9 sat!!!! Boom 25 millions at 1sat!!!
This cryptoland really sucks!greedy always want money but go for nuts and after that they will scream why the price is down?please pump!! lool

Honestly it's their loss. No biggy, regret will follow the dumping

We expected the market to be junk until the platform stabilizes

Great time for others to get in cheap
Let them dump. Those ones don't know Mooncoin,Fedoracoin,Leafcoin when launched and where they are now. They are all newbies or total ignorant

There will never be a lack of ignorance.  Especially when fools are chasing a quick .001 btc.

as i understand those 12 hours have passed and you will start distribution right now. am i right?

Waiting to dump? Wink lol

well none is buying, so he can't dump anything

Who's going to buy when the giveaway is just hours away.

2016-04-19 21:58   BUY   0.00000001   13623.00000000   0.00013623   0.00013623

we have our first sale of Espers @ 1 satoshi Smiley

So should we throw a party?  Really though, what's the point of even trading at this point?

GPU Miner source anyone ? i have pre-built sgminer and ccminer but would really love source

Hmm, it seems like the c11 sgminer links are no longer working.

Here's tpruvot ccminer source  https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer  It mines c11/chaincoin.

I think I downloaded the sgminer source at one time but I'll have to locate it.  I'll let you know if I find it.

I can't find the sgminer source.  I thought I had copied it but I am unable to find it at this time.  It shouldn't be that difficult to modify the available sgminer source since c11 is basically x11 just in a different hashing order.

The difference is that Skein512 is the fourth link in the x11 chain and the sixth link in the C11 chain.

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][APT] Aptcoin★ASIC Resistant Scrypt In-Motion(NM) on: April 19, 2016, 04:57:13 AM

What is the problem requiring difficulty re-targeting?  We're already using Apt-Curve, which was designed specifically for this coin.  I'm not aware of further shortcomings.

I have never heard of yobit.  Can anyone else vouch for them being legitimate and not a scam?  How long have they been around?

If everyone thinks it's a good idea, I'm supportive of you or someone else starting a donation pot.  I will donate some too, although I'm skeptical of this exchange because I've never heard of them.  Maybe I'm behind and they're great.  Let me know what others think?

It seems like you get stuck on a high n-factor of 12 or 13 for a long time then when you solve a block it drops significantly and you find several blocks rapidly and then the n-factor goes back up significantly then a block and lower n-factor a couple blocks and repeat.   A smoother change in n-factor would be nice.  I'm just mining this now and then to help keep the chain viable for now until hopefully some new development comes along.

Edit:

I've started a donation pot and funded it with an initial 30.000 APT http://45.32.67.42/address/AWPdaDQAgN5xrMMiY9rAb1CPPqG2b6E45e

If you want to donate and have an issue with me holding the donation coins we can look for someone else to hold them.  But lets get that donation total over 100.000 so we have enough to do something with.

I want more action and interest with this coin so I sent 70k APT to the donnation pot.
http://45.32.67.42/address/AWPdaDQAgN5xrMMiY9rAb1CPPqG2b6E45e

Hopping this helps and it will only be used to promote the coin and add it on exchanges.
Here are the 100k, so what's next ?

I thought I might have an exchange listing but after some initial correspondence with the operator of the exchange I haven't heard anything back for a few days.  I received your donation.  Thank You.  If it isn't used to get listed on an exchange it will be returned.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NPT] Neptunium | Cryptonight PoW | Secure, Anonymous and Community-focused on: April 19, 2016, 04:39:12 AM
If there is anyone that mined on my pool 104.156.253.111 that isn't going to be mining anymore and has a pending payout of less than 1 NPT let me know and I will send them out.  I don't want to keep your coins.  You mined them.

your pool will  be colsed ?
bad news ...
and Why don't you stick to it

Not closing the pool just want to make sure people get their coins.  I have a 1 coin minimum payout and there are many that haven't mined for almost a month that are below that threshold.  I'll just send out payments to anyone who hasn't mined in two weeks and send out the small payments again after a couple weeks.  I don't want their coins.  They don't belong to me.

I made payouts to anyone that mined on my pool with balances of .001 up to .999999999.  I have a minimum payout of 1 coin to reduce the dust transactions and because I can't see making regular payouts for amounts less than that.  The fact that the coin has a low block reward is no reason to send out payments that cause problems later on when trying to send coins.

So everyone should have everything they mined.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: April 19, 2016, 02:30:57 AM
That's like 2 to 3 months worth of solo mining, assuming difficulty stays close to where it is now.
Hopefully it will encourage the community to stay with us and trust the development plans we have.
Cant wait to see our amazing community grow even more.

I see this as more of a longer term strategy rather than the typical 1 - 2 week pump and dump coins coming out almost daily from the same small group of people working with a couple exchanges.

According to slb there is an open source block explorer

https://forum.cryptonote.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3420

I was playing with Cryptonote, fork a coin, compile, set-up a seed-node on my local network even I set-up a mining pool, never figured out how to make the web front-end work but when I point my miners to the virtual server, they in fact mine together, but the block explorer is way out of my league , I have a lot of free time and I really want to learn more about crypto, if somebody can put me in the right direction I can dedicate my time in that, as I was already doing it with my fork coins and to my newbie eyes the code of Neptunium is not that different from the original Cryptonote code (to my newbie eyes)

Well damn!  I didn't know that existed.  Thanks for bringing it to attention.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NPT] Neptunium | Cryptonight PoW | Secure, Anonymous and Community-focused on: April 19, 2016, 01:07:20 AM
I m still mine   Grin

and now , I v got 20000+ NPT, include donated to dev 4000+

sooooo easy to mine , lower diff,  poor miner, and large reward  Grin Grin

Yep that is the reason why i keep mining, we maybe still have a chance. Does not look too promising from dev's side tho. Starts feling like the dev has abanonded us.

This for sure that dev have abandon us, he's pool don't work either! This is pity that all bounties are he's hand.

So what do you think? should we take community takeover or stop mining and let him lick his fingers with worthless coins?

I pm'ed the dev and received a reply about a week ago.  He said he was still supporting the coin.  At this time the coin is still functioning so no immediate support is needed.  But for this coin to do anything it will need some innovative improvements that other cryptonote coins are not doing.  That takes time for development and some of us actually have families, property, and other responsibilities that make it hard to devote 100% of time on working on developing.  The only individual that has done any development other than the original dev is lulworm and their work on the block explorer which we still don't have.  Myself and a few others setting up a pool doesn't count as development since all we did was change a few parameters on already developed open source software.

Talk about taking over the coin is premature.  If you did what would you do then?  Without a plan a takeover is meaningless.

For AMD users, good news, there is miner for OpenCL. "https://github.com/wolf9466/wolf-xmr-miner/releases". It is not working with latest AMD drivers, i have tested driver version 15.201.1151.1008, it's working.
You are welcome to mine my pool: http://eu-pool.mine.nu/
[01:57:56] Error -61 when calling clCreateBuffer to create hash scratchpads buff
er.
driver version : 14.301.1001.0

https://github.com/wolf9466/wolf-xmr-miner/blob/master/README.md

If you get an error about clCreateBuffer - lower your rawintensity. See the example config xmr.conf for details.

Generally, you want to raise rawintensity as high as it will go without error - but remember, 2MiB of GPU RAM is needed for every work-item.

Not to push the value at this point but in response to too many coins,  Fedoracoin has over 400 billion coins in circulation and a marketcap of over $7 million.
