Can I get a little help setting up a miner on linux? I keep getting "cannot execute binary file: Exec format error"
If anyone can PM me I'd appreciate it.
What flavor of linux? Have you tried compiling from source?

Wow, thanks damashup, is this something you developed? I see that this goes back a few months too. Good tool to research (if you have time) some of the background "marketing" behind a lot of coins including XMR, BBR, XDN etc Watch what you say on that polo troll box

mister whale, please continue to dump
my orders haven't been filled yet
I don't think this is a whale. Some mini whales dumped 100,000DRK+ in three hits within the last 30 days. We are currently seeing smaller amounts of dumping influencing the market. As pointed out up thread though, volume is low so I suppose this has a comparable effect. I stand corrected. Just saw the 33k dump last night. Resistance indeed. I dumped 20k yesterday. I always told myself that at $1.70 I would have to sell about half of my coins. I reached my panic point. I quit my job few months ago because of my DRK investments (I went all-in with 95% of my net worth), so I needed to secure my future to have enough money to start a business. Hopefully you understand. I'm done dumping now and holding on to my remaining 30k as a long term hold. I'm still a firm believer in this project and I'm fairly confident that at the end of the road this project will change the world. At least you stuck to your plan. For future reference, might be worthwhile to reach out on DCT if you are selling 5000+ coin blocks (that goes for you and anyone else). Sure there would be plenty willing to buy out of exchange. I did something similar a few weeks ago. Stuck to my plan. I tried to sell off exchange to DCT members but had no takers so I ended selling Cryptsy. EDIT: Evan didn't even reply to my message when I had a lot of DRK to sell. I'm sure he gets a ton of PM's. He must have missed yours. I doubt it was intentional. I didn't actually mean to sound like a whiny bitch there. Don't know where that came from! You didn't.

I hate to ask this... but I'm not at all well... I live up north... It's getting cold... I've got an abysmal amount of everything to do... I'm trying to get caught up on 20 years... of compiler development... last I did assembly... was line-drawing routines... on my 386-33... in Borland C... (that's C, not C+, or C++) for those fancy new 256 color videocards... because there were no .h libraries for them yet.
Could someone be so kind as to compile that Skeinminer stand-alone for me?
In return I'll tell you how to crack Wolfenstein.
That's the Apple ][+ version of Wolfenstein.
Good God I'm old.
Yep, any day now!
Ha ha Wolfenstein. I still haven't made it through the last level of Heretic.

You did what was best for you. You don't need to explain anything to anyone.

We are hardly working on XDN and improvements! We are communicating with SuperNet devs. Sorry for delays in answers, we are focused on main code improvements and new features.
What improvements and new features are you working on. Please elaborate. From like 3 pages ago, shojayxt: Hybrid PoW/PoS implementation. 17 weeks. DarkNote mobile wallet. 12 weeks. Aliases. 9 weeks. Multisignatures. 4 weeks. DarkNote web wallet. (JavaScript cryptography implementation). 2 weeks. GUI client improvements. Every day. Frequently updated. Is GUI open source? If not, is there a timeline for that? edit: lol working hard or hardly working? yukyukyuk This does not look good. All the negative feedback...... I didn't give negative feedback I merely asked some legitimate questions.

If Supernet is fail,we have another choice, like blocknet.
What do you mean by this? You can't just become part of SuperNet or BlockNet because you choose to do so.

What improvements and new features are you working on. Please elaborate. You are communicating with the SuperNet devs? What does that mean? I have had communications as well, so have many others. Communications doesn't mean collaboration. You are not listed as a SuperNet core coin. Please explain what role you have in SuperNet. Why would SuperNet need another cryptonote coin when Boolberry is already a core coin? Thanks, I look forward to hearing your response. SuperNET CORE coins: Nxt BTCD BBR VRC CHA

Sorry for the GITHUB-rek, working on it Edit: Github is okay now, sorry for the REKTation pool? Why do you need a pool? Do you actually want to mine this coin? If so may I ask why?

What future plan does this coin have other than keep posting ridiculous photos?

Does anyone here think monero could explode 100 times, during the next bitcoin bubble?
Cryptocurrency is in the middle of a bloodbath. Crypto wealth is fleeing to the safety of fiat. Talking about a coin going up 100X seems out of place right now. I'm starting to think that bitcoin has found it's spot. I don't think it will go much lower but I also think there's a good possibility it won't see levels above 500 anytime soon if ever again. Monero is positioned as good or better than many coins. But that means nothing if money keeps flowing out of crypto. As for Monero or any other coin increasing in value 100X. It isn't going to happen anytime soon so don't get your hopes up. People need to be realistic and realize that things could get much worse than they are now. I'm not making any predictions just keeping my eyes open and avoiding getting distracted by fluff. I believe this has to do with more Bitcoin regulation= Some investors getting out(It might have the opposite effect in the future if regulation "legitimizes" BTC in the eyes of the public). While no one can be certain of Bitcoin's (immediate) future. It still stands that altcoins can go up in price much, much easier than Bitcoin can at this point in time. I agree that altcoins have a much easier time going up than bitcoin. The problem is that they can go down much faster as well. There is nothing to sustain an altcoin pump other than speculation bringing in new money. Bitcoin has a working infrastructure in place that allows for actual transaction being made between actual customers and vendors. When an altcoin rises in value it's much harder to sustain because in the end you can't really do anything meaningful with it.

random question here , would it be bad if a certain pool had 80% or more of the hash rate for darknote?
It's bad for any coin to have one pool with 80% hash rate.

Where are you getting the pricing data?
On a single exchange no API, so I every day change the value manually. Great job on the block explorer. The statistics page is nice.

Total bloodbath in crypto. Double digit percentage drops as people sell altcoins and cash out bitcoin to fiat.
If you're sitting on cash you're in a good position.
If you're heavy in coins not so much.

With crypto going through a brutal bloodbath right now, what's the point of releasing another coin that has no purpose.
Nevermind, we all know the answer to that question.
