2401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Elon Musk fake giveaway. on: October 02, 2020, 11:50:58 PM
This kind of traps have been getting common on social media platforms. We need to be careful while surfing such kind of information. In recent days YouTube is much used, and in live streaming people are scamming the common people understanding the need for money. As Bitcoin deposit is an easy to do task, people too trying the same and ending with loss. Whatever might be, always look for the information shared from official sources.
2402  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: October 02, 2020, 10:59:44 PM
I would like to mention one of the thread created years back. In that it has got the comparison between the funds being hold by the banks versus the funds on cryptocurrency exchanges. What we see is a massive difference, and now there might be little changes. This clarifies the requirement of Bitcoin to be the worldwide No.1 currency and the same isn't gonna happen in the near future.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 02, 2020, 10:10:20 PM
Literally Dhoni is on the ground for the 40 overs and this such humid condition will test any other fit player as well so this is not really a wonder.I think CSK need to remove Kedhar Jadhav and need to include one young player in their squad to get the combination as you mentioned earlier.
I too accept that Dhoni was in the ground for the longest time and the weather conditions are not favorable either as it is really hot and humid, the problem with CSK is that they need to change the batting order completely, Shane Watson is struggling and he is not bowling either, they need to add Imran Tahir in the team and promote Sam Curran to open the batting as he is a clean striker of the ball and then need to promote Ravindra Jadeja according to the match situation, their fielding and catching are not up to par and they need to fix those to be competitive.
Nothing to exaggerate, everything went good. Only thing missing with the team is the aggressive game. They've got strong players, in this match lacked with the scoring in the first ten overs. The first ten over score helps big in match winning, In the first ten over CSK hasn't got a score of 6rpo.
2404  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: October 02, 2020, 10:01:42 PM
With the pandemic people have come to know better about the humanity and the value of life. Mostly on border issues more countries are with an urge to make war with the opponent. For now everyone might have thought of recovering from the economic fall due to the pandemic. Once again a war will cause even worse situation. Nothing to think of war to happen and the situation of bitcoin by that time.
2405  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: October 02, 2020, 09:19:27 PM
Automation kills the job market, owners will think of making money through investment rather than giving life. Through automation it'll perform the assigned work with the same energy throughout, and human beings cannot do the same. If one invested $74500, he'll recover the investment in about two years time. By the time it'll go outdated and he needs to update it. Business is always business, so after buying too, there'll be regular maintenance charges. Only then companies manufacturing it can sustain long. Cool
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 02, 2020, 08:59:51 PM
I haven't used to it. Sending/receiving Bitcoin to a wrong account hasn't happened. If there exists an address upon our mistyping of the address, it might reach the particular location. The chance for the existence of the mistyped address is very low.
2407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: October 02, 2020, 03:44:00 PM
This time the bitcoin market has gained good stability around the margin of $10000. Thats the reason why the market stood above $10000 for a long without much fluctuation down to $10000. Today there is small decline in the price and the same is being mentioned as the cause of Trump tested positive for covid-19. Anyhow even in the worse bitcoin is strong and high in the market.
2408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mediocre/People. on: October 02, 2020, 10:06:16 AM
There's no other way to make them feel comfortable except by educating them about Bitcoin and related services centered around it. Aren't you the same? Would you feel good if you use some currency that you don't know at all?

There is no need to force everyone to use Bitcoin either. Just let them learn what it is and decide where they can use it.
Educating the people is the only way to make them to be comfortable with bitcoin. What you expect with people, because cryptocurrencies at the moment is very big. Right now we're in the early days of cryptocurrency adoption, so it takes time to use bitcoin on daily day transactions. Stores with cryptocurrency acceptance is very low around the globe. Another thing for such a fear among people is the negative things happening relative to bitcoin.
2409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French police arrest terror financing ring that used Bitcoin coupons on: October 02, 2020, 09:37:13 AM
As most of the users mentioned Bitcoin is just a currency. A coin has got two sides, same is with bitcoin and other things that having value. It is up to the user making use of it. In this news the terrorism supporters have used bitcoin as a source. Same as this USD too is used in large scale in the global market on illegal needs. The media is the one that always tries to indicate bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as wrong instead of indicating the person involved in it.
2410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: October 02, 2020, 07:17:13 AM
We can't come to a conclusion, centralized wallets are high risky. We need to find the trusted one, and make use of it. With decentralized wallet if something goes as an error it'll end up losing. We can't claim it anywhere else, but with trusted centralized wallets we can request help from the support team.

Recently due to a small error more than ten million worth cryptocurrencies got hold in a wallet. Finally the error was being solved with a cost of very few dollars. Think a situation where there is no solution for the error, all the funds go wasted.
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump gets Covid and we Crash? on: October 02, 2020, 06:47:32 AM
With the news there is more chance of market crash to some extent, because the cryptomarket is being connected to the world market. During the pandemic when global economy experienced continued fall due to long term lockdown the crypto market was stabilizing itself. This means covid-19 positive for Trump and his wife isn't that big compared to it. So, to some point there'll be price fluctuation and gets bouncing soon after.
2412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 02, 2020, 05:21:55 AM
Are these bets as safe as they seem? Would you go for this strategy or not? Why?

It only looks like that this is "safer". In reality, odds like 2.5-2.9 are often win, so another side with 1.1-1.2 will lose such games. It's not enough just to look odds and bet to some outcome. You need to know a sport which you're betting on. Because sometimes books calculate odds in a weird way, so strong team will get winning odd like 2.1 and more weak - 1.2 . In that case you will lose your money pretty sure.

Knowledge is the strongest weapon and the safer way to get money in betting. Not odds

I think no bet is safe. Even if you have a lot of knowledge about the teams, the prediction may go wrong because not always the stronger teams wins. Sometimes a weaker player or team do win and an upset may happen.
The betting also depends much on luck than anything else like knowledge etc.
This is the truth with sports betting, but for some reason it is always good to give importance to gather more information regarding the game before selecting the odds. Always go with games that are played between equally strengthened team. With this you get the chance of minimising the loss, even when the prediction is believed to be going on the opposite of our thoughts.
2413  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet should no longer be allowed on bitcointalk- a danger to community on: October 02, 2020, 04:42:16 AM
In recent days 1xbet has got a lot of accusations, and they were stopped from running their signature campaign to promote their platform. Later Livecoin exchange encountered similar issue and they were also stopped from running their campaign. Now it is cloudbet, I didn't thought of such a large number of accusations from different people. I'm used to the cloudbet for sports betting as it provides the live betting access. I believe the official cloudbet support of our Bitcointalk will respond to it.
2414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: October 02, 2020, 01:34:53 AM
Rather than learning one must believe, because it took me a hour to understand what is bitcoin. Further I learned about altcoins. I'm not mentioning it from the technical knowledge, I understood it as an alternate to the fiat which doesn't have any physical presence. It can only be experienced virtually, but the same when I tried to convince people aren't ready to accept.

That's why I said rather than learning one needs to believe, if one is ready hardly within a hour an user who has got knowledge to use a computer can understand.
2415  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io🎲FREE Faucet❗🎲0.5% House Edge🎲100% Decentralized🎲Provably Fair🎲 on: October 01, 2020, 05:44:07 PM
Hey, EOSBET, actually how many announcement threads here in this forum for earnbet.io? Found about 4 threads. All are from the officail team of earnbet.io?

1. [ANN]🔷Earnbet.io - Licensed Casino Platform🔷[PASSIVE INCOME]🔷🔷
2. [ANN]EarnBet.io - First Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲Dividends
3. 💎 [PASSIVE INCOME] EarnBet 💎 The First 100% Decentralized Licensed Casino 💎

And this one. Maybe there are some have too. If all are from the officail team then why by new accounts again and again?
Yes, everything looks official. From the names of the user posting the announcement thread, every name is almost similar and close to the earnbet name. Maybe the development/marketing team of the project is getting changed at specific time interval.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 29, 2020, 11:56:49 PM
Picking Kane Williamson was a good choice and he performed and SRH is in a winning position right now as Hetmyer is gone and Stoinis is a trump card and he could take the game away but it all depends how Rashid Khan bowls his final over and how Bhuvneshwar Kumar could control the flow of runs when DC is going for boundaries.

Today it worked for SRH.

But remember that they included a batsmen (Kane Williamson) in the place of an all-rounder (Mohammad Nabi). For today's match, they didn't faced any issue because the other bowlers (except Khaleel Ahmed) did a good job. But what will happen, in case their main bowlers fail? They do have a number of inexperienced faces in their lineup and the presence of Nabi gives them an additional bowling option.
In the past matches there is no success with the bowlers. Today it worked with Rashid, Bhuvnesh kumar and Natarajan. They got wickets as well as the economy was good, as none allowed to score more than 25 runs in their spells. Same time if any one of the partnership from Delhi Capitals lasted for few more overs, surely it'd have been a win for Delhi Capitals.
2417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell ERC20 coins? on: September 29, 2020, 11:36:01 PM
Whether your ERC20 coins/tokens available in any of the ethereum wallet or it is available on the exchange. If the holdings are in a wallet, then you need to have gas for transaction fee. Without the transaction fee it isn't possible to move the holdings to the exchange wallet for trading. Once moved you can trade it with minimal fee or no fee based on the exchange on which the holdings were deposited.

Apart from this only way is to sell the wallet along with the private key to any of the user. This can be done only upon trust and no escrow can be used in such trades. This is just a suggestion and not a possible solution.
2418  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling with convenience using Bitcoin during a pandemic on: September 29, 2020, 11:21:53 PM
Earnbet has got its own announcement thread, this seems to be a thread created out of excitement. There are gamblers who always think of the people next to them. If they've profited good out of a platform or found something good they'll try to popularize it. What's been done through this thread too seems one such kind of activity.
2419  Economy / Economics / Re: IMPACTS OF ROBOTICS ON WORLD ECONOMY on: September 29, 2020, 10:03:47 PM

I would not say self driving cars are run by robots, it's just a software doing it. For me a Robot is a physical thing which helps humans in automating production tasks. Maybe it's because I watched too many Terminator movies, but Robots have usually atleast some parts which look human, like an Arm or so.
<...>
My cleaning robot clearly disagrees.
As you correctly stated robots are tools in human production. They don’t need to have a human appearance, or rather have an appearance at all: a driving robot is (almost) entirely software. A self driving car looks almost exactly like a human-driven car.
Human like robots might be needed only in very limited industries (sex, for example).

Yes, the exact robots aren't the machines that are designed to run based on the software programmed to perform tasks. As stated human like robots are very specific on few industries like sex. On this pandemic the need for such robots have increased a lot. This is being revealed based on the source from a private company's survey. During the pandemic the sex robots industry has experienced good boom in growth while majority of the industry were facing the hard time. From an article saw a data where 22% of Americans interested to have sex with robots Shocked

Source - Human Robots for Sex
2420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 29, 2020, 09:42:43 PM
Whether it is Casino or sports betting, if you bet small amount and win your mind will say you should've gone for a bigger bet value. Same if you've lost, your mind feels sorrow of losing in a single game that you can't spend on further games.

As we're talking about sports bet, it good to spend based on the level of understanding you've got about the teams and players in the game. If you're confident enough then go for bigger bets and whenever you select odds based on luck go with small amounts.
