2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 31, 2022, 08:00:13 PM
I feel that Covid rules will start to decrease - we have already seen it in a lot of countries. Roland Garros is played in May/June, Wimbledon in June/July - until then I expect us to walk freely, without vaccinations and/or vax certificates.

I really want Đoković there, it is Nadal's home turf and Novak needs to win it. It has the potential to be an amazing tournament - without Đoković it would be a lot less interesting.

One would think that the rules should start to decrease, at least we can only hope for it. It would be good for Roland Garros if Djokovic is present but if they still require that everybody needs to be vaccinated, than so be it. If Djokovic also misses RG, than he can only be mad at himself...
Countries keep restricting the people due to the rise of mutant variants of COVID-19. Everywhere vaccination is getting to be compulsory, even the kids were started to be vaccinated. I don't know what is the real reason behind his strong decision. Is this out of fear or anything else. Because, he doesn't care of being a participant but keen in stay away from vaccination.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 31, 2022, 11:55:23 AM
Users always expect good bonuses, and KYC free gambling access. Very few gambling sites providing it. Support to the users is very important, sites nowadays prioritise issues encountered by the users and getting them resolved at the earliest. If there is delay, the same seems to affect the sites reputation in a short time as more casinos and sports betting sites are getting developed and giving good competence. Also the bitcointalk community engagement adds more trust over the platform.

2043  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: January 30, 2022, 11:43:34 PM
It looks like this thread has been sleeping for a very long time, but the Gamdom.com platform is not sleeping at all!

If someone is not in a signature campaign, so has a chance to join right now. Gamdom.com is just starting new campaign with a really nice rewards Wink

Campaign thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5383679.0

I've seen that they are running another set of campaign, which is actually great.
Looking at this thread, the last post was last year before you, so this may attract players again and refresh the existence of gamdom.
But even though they are not active here, their online players of 3k+ right now is commendable.
It means, they already gained enough users to survive even if they are not very active in the forum for the past months.
The platform have got a good number of userbase, now the campaign will boost the traffic atleast to a small rise. It looks like one among the trusted gambling site without accusations. Now once again it has added some sign-up rakeback for 7 days which is quite a different form of bonus that could attract more gambler.

2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any hope for BitcoinCash? on: December 03, 2021, 12:22:54 AM

With the lots of new trends day-by-day, BCH needs a big hype in able to reach its previously All-Time High. For short-term trades, BCH is still far one of the good coins out there to be included on the list in terms of "trading purposes".

Any hope for Bitcoincash? In what way? Having a trading volume of US$2B, the dominance is clearly there in the market.
It has its dominance in the market, but there is no big price movement compared to ethereum that were once equal in price with bitcoin cash. It has got its ATH price to be around $4400, and now it is around $560. During the bull market this could've reached above $2000, but there is no big movement. This shows it is good for trading than long term holding. There is periodic fluctuation that is good to make profit on regular buy/sell practice.
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solid Altcoins you suggest should not be in Top 100. on: December 02, 2021, 04:07:09 PM
There is no big growth for a long. But, there is good trading volume and a team that is keeping things on track in terms of development. The project I suggest is Casper. It had fallen to $0.065 from the price around $1. Few months back if reached the market and it stands within 150 - 175 on the coinmarketcap. Probably for long term profit it seems to be good and not good for trading.
2049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin talked about at your Thanksgiving celebration? on: December 02, 2021, 01:55:03 PM
Thanks giving celebration isn't that big. Here in my country only few stores announce black friday sales and thanks giving celebration.

Last year thanks giving celebration wasn't that big, and those were days when people are convinced with the cryptocurrency usage. Now scenario has changed, and people are much aware of cryptocurrency. This has resulted on the major buy during the Black Friday and thanks giving celebration this time. Previously people who spent on clothes and other things have now spending on cryptocurrency.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can KCS perform like BNB and CRO perform like KCS? on: December 02, 2021, 12:50:07 PM
We can't expect KCS to perform similar to BNB. Maybe in the long term it could grow. As of now the kucoin have been kicking in the market through its dividend pay from holding of more than 6 KCS based on the daily revenue in kucoin transaction fee. The market gets stronger through the usage. KCS and BNB have grown from the scratch, continuous development is the must.

Kucoin was sitting less than a dollar by the starting of the ongoing year. Now this has been trading above $25 which is massive growth. In long term it'll grow even higher, but the same doesn't seem to outlaw or grow similar to BNB.
2051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MEME coins are good to invest? on: December 02, 2021, 11:46:33 AM
Same as that happened with ico during the previous bull market, this time memecoins have been trending the market once after influencers ignited the market for memecoins. Good investment for users who have the ability to buy and forget about the amount being spend on it. Over the past few months more number of memecoins have reached the market and has gained good volume. So,  it all depends on the expectation of profit along with the capital investment.
2052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My newbie trading experience on: December 02, 2021, 10:04:52 AM
I believe you started your trading journey from the tokens received as rewards for bounty participation. It is quite interesting that you made $250 profit from the first trading. This could've given the understanding about the basics of trading.

Further what needs to be done is choosing of the right cryptocurrency to make profit. Also you should not think of making similar profit as the first trade. This could lead to long term waiting, so good is to make minimal earning out of the regular price fluctuation.
2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it a good time to BUY DOT??? on: December 02, 2021, 08:07:32 AM
I want to know is it good to buy Dot right now or any crypto, I am curious because i have a cash laying around.
It is the right time to buy Dot, because it is something unique among the emerging projects. It came into the market as an ethereum killer. With more incoming growth and partnering with different blockchains it assure about the return from investment made on it. If the profit expectancy is long term, one can fearlessly go for it.
2054  Economy / Economics / Re: New COVID strain may affect crypto valuation on: December 02, 2021, 06:48:21 AM
Bitcoin and crypto have proven the opposite of what covid19 can do. Maybe the state of mind worries a lot more people about it than the Delta, but I would estimate it's pure and bitcoin will still get us through the omicron and even the hyperinflation that's happening gradually started. So my guess is bitcoin will go up soon, holding baskets is the way to go.
My prediction is that all subsequent forms will go down and only bitcoin will go up.

Everytime we can't similar pattern of market progress with bitcoin same as that happened during the previous wave of COVID. Right now everywhere precautionary measures were taken in fast phase and people are prepared to face it. Earlier this was different and people panicked all of the sudden. Those are days that made common people get connected on internet for each and everything. That's also a reason for the pumping of the market.
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting BTC Tips on Webpage on: December 02, 2021, 03:28:23 AM
Accepting tips without any third party involved is a good plan. It is good if you've got some more coins added to the list, because when your content is being tipped it shouldn't consume a big fee for the tip provider. For this addition of tron and other low transaction fee based coins will be more effective on this purpose.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: November 30, 2021, 11:57:42 PM
TRON is a coin that has good movements, this year it has gone up more than 300%, but I believe if the market improves then TRON can reach $1 soon, and this is what made me buy and hold TRON for the long term.
TRON is a good coin but has done so little in the latest bull run. The thing is that not many projects are building on TRON and while DOGE is little to no providing any utility ADA is catching up quickly. Of the three, ADA has most potential because even today the interest of building on it is still peaking.
The development from the Ada team is tremendous. At regular time interval layers of development is getting added to the network. With tron something seems to be missing and the same makes the network less used for the development of new projects. Due to its low transaction cost tron keeps up the circulation and is much used around. Somehow with patience more users are holding tight for a breakout.
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will a coin cost if the USA abandon the US dollar today and switch to BTC? on: November 30, 2021, 11:51:22 PM
If we take every dollar in existence and make the existing quantity of BTC equal that amount of value, what will a coin cost in the (now-defunct) dollar?

Just wondering what will happen if a large economy switch to Bitcoin
There's no such way, Bitcoin is decentralized and the dollar is centralized, I don't think that the well-developed country will do such a thing, they even have heavy regulations.  Bitcoin needs also fiat to have a real value and I don't think it can overtake Bitcoin besides no one government replacing their fiat.
Yes, dollar being centralized can't be replaced by the decentralised bitcoin. Also, at any cost this isn't gonna happen. The low populated country El Salvador itself had opposition for considering bitcoin as legal tender. So, surely USA people will also have opposition. Bitcoin needs fiat to value it, which might change when direct acceptance increase.
I don't know even if this what IF will happen and what is the result to the economy, we know that the world's market influenced on the dollar value as of now.
The chances are no more considering the economic infrastructure and bitcoin. Maybe as an alternate to the USD we can see bitcoin getting used in the future as the generations are completely getting tied to technology.
2058  Economy / Economics / Re: New COVID strain may affect crypto valuation on: November 30, 2021, 10:19:26 PM
The global economy will suffer a modest blow from economists point. Compared to the impact on the economy from covid-19 and the delta variant what we experience at the moment won't be that big. This time tourism and the restaurant industry is predicted to experience a major blow. The increased vaccination rate keep things in control compared to the past.
2059  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: November 29, 2021, 11:20:54 PM
A recent situation in my country where the banks have been instructed to block accounts related/associated with crypto trading has prompted me to start thinking if these banks are actually happy carrying out government policies against their customers, because some of them seem not too happy about it but look to have little or no choice on the matter.

Can the banks challenge the policies from the government? Are the banks working for the people or the government? is there any possibility that banks can operate freely entirely from government policies?

(Read news article here)

Each government has different jurisdiction and government protect against fraud which is the bank was under by the government and banks are regulated by the government, they should always obey the government's law and regulation either. There's no way to challenge the government, it is understood that you should obey once you are a citizen but if not, you can move into other countries that never care about people, which is very common to have crimes every day because there is no government that has protected people.
No way to challenge the government, they're supposed to comply with the regulatory laws by the government. Whether it is bitcoin or some other cryptocurrencies, people should have the freedom to use it.

Even if it is a foreign bank having its service in other country, it agrees to the law and all procedures followed within the country. With time governments will realise and create framework that make bitcoin get used through banks which is found in very small number around the world.
2060  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 29, 2021, 10:46:50 PM
i was never interested in using a credit card because to me it was just a bank trick to suck our money.  Many people say that credit cards are a transaction solution, but i don't find where the convenience is when using a credit card Cheesy

Credit cards make it easy to get into debt, at first it feels good but when we have to pay and the high interest makes our lives uncomfortable, when we are in debt and maturity makes eating and sleeping uncomfortable so leaving a credit card is the best solution for a comfortable life , I've used up to 3 credit cards with a limit that keeps growing, but it makes me consumptive and can't save and invest anything.
This is common with more people. Without any benefit surely these banks won't provide with credit cards. They benefit highly through this, as mentioned it makes people more consumptive. Around a month back a friend of mine received credit card, this has been issued on account of him working for the government and have the regular transaction. Initially he have got small limit and it's been said by the bank authorities.

More the transaction through it will increase your limits in a short. He doesn't spend much, but he insists me to use it on need and pay him the cash to increase the transaction. So, it is a way to make it people spend than save/invest.
