1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: August 06, 2022, 11:31:05 PM
Altcoin investment has been risky ever since.  With lots of scam projects appearing everywhere, it is hard to differentiate potential projects from the shit projects and scam projects.  Since these two latter project mimics the potential project or even conducts a better project presentation.  Aside from that, lots of copycat projects are being created every day just to take advantage of the current trend.  So if we are not careful and did not do our own research, we might end up investing in these risky/scammy projects.
Every Investment have got risks associated with it. Altcoins have a higher risk rate, because of various past incidents. Even the trusted altcoin could fall down, and Luna is one recent example. Apart from that we've got more number of projects that emerge without any usage, but the hype will be at the peak. As said, we need to be careful and make decisions. Also going on the leading altcoins will lower the risk, but new projects at times give big returns. In altcoin investment luck too have got its role. So, it is good to invest what you afford to lose on new projects.

1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 06, 2022, 04:14:55 PM
India is in good position scoring 107 runs in 11 overs. From the beginning every player have made 20+ runs. On the crease, Rishabh Pant and Hooda are in good form scoring 25 and 21 runs. If India is able to maintain this run rate surely the score will reach atleast 220 runs. Rohit Sharma and Surya Kumar have given good start to the match.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: August 06, 2022, 02:31:38 PM
I cant speak for all countries, but in my covid tests (if you really have symptoms) and vaccination is free. Poor and rich people got same vaccine, same tests. The only difference with other countries was that in my country I had to buy medicine masks myself, while in Germany for example you can get those green simple masks by free. I would not say that this is the great difference to be called a gap.

Everyone(rich and poor alike)got the same tests and the same vaccines and that won’t be enough to classify as the widening gap between the rich and the poor. But looking at another perspective, top management executives who worked little and from home made a whole lot more than the common man who was out of a job or was paid peanuts to work. Some organizations and companies were also given “tax breaks” to be able to stay afloat and not have to lay off workers. These management executives made a whole lot during the covid pandemic
During the same pandemic some countries realised the needof people and gave the full pay, and never made firing of employees. This is done with the company's profit in the past years. Some Management executives and companies made use of the tax exemption and never thought of the employees. Slightly things are getting better and people are returning back to normal life, but the economy around the globe is moving downward.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WazirX coin over the moon. on: August 06, 2022, 12:08:59 PM
It looks like the wazirx hype have come to an end. The ownership on the exchange between wazirx founder and Binance CEO Zhao after the investigation by Indian government's Directorate of Enforcement. More ventures registered under wazirx have involved into money laundering and ED have frozen the bank accounts of wazirx. It is good for all wazirx exchanges users to withdraw the funds at the earliest.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 06, 2022, 11:50:50 AM

I don't see any reason to think the West Indies team is weak. At least the West Indies team cannot be called weak in the T20 format. They have several hard-hitting batsmen in their squad. They can change the scenario of the match at any time. India is doing well in this series as their bowlers are in great form. But it cannot be said with certainty that the bowlers will perform well in every match. There is nothing surprising if West Indies wins today's match.
West Indies always masters the T20 matches, but it has got the highest percentage of inconsistency in performance. It could chase a target of 200+ runs in a much easier way, and the following match it ends up its innings in less than 100 runs. The bowling is quite good, and now India have got the team in which if the bowlers weren't performing the batsmen takes responsibility and tries to make big scores. Some form of compensative game is being played and it is good.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: August 06, 2022, 11:30:56 AM
I think best tip for a gambler is to never keep playing when you are angry or low in mood. Its because it directly increases chances to lose. You make bad decisions and bad decisions always beep you over.
Also I always suggest people to properly calculate your winning/losing possibility. It help you to prefer and play better game, and in the long run you will have more chance to win. Its example to good decision making.

This is true but hard to maintain because we should understand most times we don't have control of our emotions and because we are losing then we want to give playing and chasing the money lost but we keep losing, a winning day is that way and if we losing then we should learn to work.
One can win even when he/she loses emotional control. All that necessary is the luck. I've experienced it, because when I keep on losing I lose control and increase the bet value. This has helped me recover from the loss, but further we should not loss it out of emotions and greed.

When you free you're out of control don't gamble, or just move the fund to the vault with a small amount that you can afford to loss. If lucky you'll get good winning, if not the loss ends with the small amount.
1728  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: August 06, 2022, 11:25:57 AM
Now China and India are contesting who's to save Sri Lanka from sinking deeper. But the Chinese have more money to offer although with high interests but there is nothing Sri Lanka can do as they need immediate assistance otherwise trouble will start once again. The Chinese also have remaining high stakes in the country and have control of a big port and probably more establishments and projects there, so it is most likely that the Sri Lankan government will allow them to dictate a recovery plan. I only hope that the Chinese will not deploy warships, warplanes, and military in the country because it will cause more trouble with neighboring India.
India is not into the contest. India have supported Sri Lanka on the humanitarian basis. In the history of Sri Lanka it have got an island that is being owned by India. Through some legal agreement it is with Sri Lanka. If India is into the contest India would've made plans of recovering the island. Now it is China that is gonna take control over Sri Lanka. The ultimate is to deploy warships and frighten India's southern territories which doesn't border with any other countries.
1729  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: August 06, 2022, 10:24:44 AM
No more queue in the betting line.
In some places there are still queue with long line in betting house, not everyone have move to online betting which is more convenient but due to illiteracy and poverty most local gamblers don't comply with the social distances precautions measures against covid-19. But then again those that have taken advantage of online gambling most especially cryptocurrency platforms have minimized their physical contact with others.
With the existence of online gambling platforms people standing on the queue to spend on gambling have reduced drastically. Right now the gambling sites are easy accessible, even the uneducated can make use of it. Possibly in locations where there is no better internet access, people might be in queue on the betting houses.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 04, 2022, 02:09:49 PM
The last time he played well was in 2019, we are in 2022 and I do not think this is just a phase. The problem with him is that he is least bothered to do his part to overcome his poor performance. Apart from being focused on cricket, he has been everywhere and he also thinks of himself as someone who will not get dropped from the national team. BCCI will give him ample opportunity and I am sure they will closely monitor his performance in the upcoming Asia Cup. If he does well then he will surely be part of the Indian squad for the T20WC.

Recently he was dropped from the captaincy post. So he should be aware that his position is a bit shaky. On top of that, some of the fringe players such as Gill and Deepak Hooda have performed well in the recent past. I believe that he doesn't really care as long as he is still a part of the test squad. In test format, I don't think that the selectors will drop him anytime soon. And for Kohli, it maybe actually beneficial if he is kept out of the ODI and T20 squads, because then he can concentrate more on IPL and test matches.
He's well known for his timely performance. This is missing for a long time. Just focusing on test matches is good, but he isn't a player of that kind. IPL is important, but not that as the ODI and T20 international. More players with better performance makes it hard for him. Somehow the support for Kohli is the one that keeps him active on the team.

1732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saylor steps down as Microstrategy CEO on: August 04, 2022, 04:16:11 AM
Saylor stepping down as Executive Chairman of MicroStrategy lets him focus on acquisition of more bitcoin as the adoption of bitcoin around the globe is into high acceleration. Before making bitcoin treasury strategy the stocks of MicroStrategy were around $100 - $150 for years. This touched a high of $1034 during the February month 2021. The growth is being experienced through bitcoin and surely whatever decision taken relative to bitcoin is gonna bring them growth.

What we see with the stepping down as CEO too is the same. There's loss out of bitcoin, but in the long term it'll surely give the best results. Stepping down is a plan and not out of pressure in my view.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Billion Bitcoin users by 2024 is possible with increased access to electricity on: August 04, 2022, 02:51:23 AM
Where there is no electricity, there's also probably no internet service providers and communication signals, so if we're talking of this isolated sector, let's probably forget about Bitcoin.

I don't think the people living in such condition prioritize Bitcoin more than the rest of their needs. And I assume that such a place is definitely poor. I know that there are off-grid villages and communities that are well-off but we're talking here of developing countries like mine. So it's no use for them to pursue Bitcoin as if it's the be-all and end-all of their existence.

Let's be practical. First things first.
Things that needs preference need to be given. Initial thing to be done is the infrastructure development for the isolated regions. Very few countries take initiative to make such changes which could boost the adoption and usage of bitcoin.

In recent days Europe have taken a measure to have solar energy system on every new building to overcome the oil demand. Maybe the same initiative could help the people without electricity get access to the electricity connection.
1734  Economy / Economics / Re: Crude Oil drops below $100 on: August 03, 2022, 11:59:52 PM
There is really a big politics in each and every country. In my country oil is the major thing that drives the government. So, when the crude oil price increases in the global market the same will be made within the country. When there is decrease in the price per barrel, the same won't be applicable. Here common people need to make protests and several other contempts, only after hard opposition we'll experience a small drop in the price.

When we make such efforts and lower the price, once again the global price per barrel increases and the same will be imposed on the price. In specific the price is not a big thing, it is the tax that makes oil more expensive.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange will go out of business of every Bitcoin is hold in private wallet on: August 01, 2022, 11:42:14 PM
Everyone won't be having the same understanding about the market. According to me, Exchanges were developed for some purpose. Though it is much connected to money making business, it also have got its usage. Everything needs a market and everyone won't go with decentralised platform. So, the usage of centralized platforms are required. Everyone won't be good with technology, for easier access this will help.

What OP think can happen when the entire World starts to operate on bitcoin as the money standard same as that we have USD right now.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 01, 2022, 11:08:27 PM
Early adopters who kept hold of the bitcoin's were rich. Other than this users who forgot about buying bitcoins in the past and remembered it after years and finding the wallet have turned rich. I believe one out of ten early adopters might be rich, because during the early days very few believed in its potential and kept hold whereas the majority sold whenever there is small rise in the market.
1737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: August 01, 2022, 11:03:47 PM
There is no doubt that bitcoin's future is in doubt, but it is probably not quite accurate to say that the government won't bother with bitcoin at all. Bitcoin does not see the government as the enemy but the government seems to see bitcoin as the enemy. As long as bitcoin exists, they won't stop messing with it until it disappears, but that's not going to be possible. Bitcoin volatility is not a bad thing sometimes, the stronger the drop, the stronger the upside potential.
Governments had such a monopoly over the currency market that they never thought they will ever be challenged, they beat gold long time ago and the few attempts to create currencies outside of their control were destroyed by them, Satoshi created a superior currency out of nowhere and they are not willing to quit their benefits just because one person had a good idea, however they are realizing that killing bitcoin is not going to be easy and if anything it will be one of the most difficult things they could hope to accomplish.
The threat I guess is taxation. Any currency would do, if I'm not mistaken, as long as the government of that certain country will benefit on its usage but since cryptos are in blockchain, governments are somehow afraid of the tendencies people will avoid taxes which governments believe, will affect country's economy. If ever there will be regulations, years would be needed still for such thing to occur. And if ever regulated cryptos will be the "same" as traditional digital money, that could also affect not only Bitcoin but cryptos in general. So yeah, things are still uncertain. This is just how I view this topic, feel free to correct me, that would be much appreciated.
That's true. Taxation serves to be a big problem. Initially the governments mentioned the pseudo anonymous feature as the reason for not regulating bitcoin. Through this it is getting much into terrorist activities and on illegal needs. Now those things have faded away and the concern is over taxation. The governments were very keen to tax perfectly as the usage and users keep increasing. As said, functioning over the blockchain it is a tedious process to make people pay taxes. At some point governments will believe that cryptocurrency won't affect a country's economy.
1738  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we hodling BTC or we are hodling Fiat?? on: August 01, 2022, 10:48:53 PM
This is upto the user, and bitcoin have got multiple usage. Satoshi innovated as a medium of exchange eliminating the third party involvement. Further this has evolved to be more of a investment due to its profiting out of volatility. Even the countries that have regulated cryptocurrency usage haven't given access to cryptocurrency as legal tender. This is all because of its technology backing, which creates massive variation in value out of volatility. Maybe in the long term this can change.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: August 01, 2022, 10:39:39 PM
I don't get you. Based on what I understood you're planning to borrow fiat once you've got enough bitcoin. Does this mean you're planning to borrow money placing bitcoin as the collateral. For borrowed money you need to pay regular interest.

Maybe this can turn to be effective, if the borrowed money is invested on something that brings you regular income.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 01, 2022, 05:36:49 PM
West Indies have won the toss and decided to bowl. West Indies have made few changes in the playing XI, Keemo Paul and Shamarh Brooks replaced by Brandon King and Devon Thomas. On the Indian team Ravi Bishnoi is replaced by Avesh Khan. West Indies believes they can chase the target and that is the reason for choosing to bowl winning the toss.
