Hey, at least monero is the third coin by volume today after bitcoin and ethereum

Hey guys,
I was trying to import a paper wallet yesterday into MyMonero. I put in the 25 word mneumonic seed and then sent 10 XMR to that address (and I just checked, I also put in the payment ID as well). Next time I logged in, I put in those same 25 words and there were no transactions present. The transaction is recorded though in my other MyMonero wallet. The importing wallet still says "Payment not yet received" when I click on "account"/"import transactions". Any idea where those XMR could have gone?
Thanks, IAS
Try #mymonero at IRC. Fluffypony usually replies fast enough.

News? IT'S HAPPENING! what are the news that such a course is raging? Probably nothing except someone bought literally ALL THE COINS and now will try to pump it in order to dump it. Well if he manages to break the world record with his effort no problem with me. According to Poloniex, the 24 hour volume is currently 33 BTC. So this is not one of these alt-coins that rises 200% on volume of 1.5 BTC. So, as was asked earlier, is there any news or rumours of news? AIUI, most spikes that have volume derive from some kind of news whether legitimate or not. Any ideas? Thanks. Someone bought the rest like 3 weeks ago...

Is the rev5.1 miner faster than the previous ones for mining or it is specific for larger shifts?

I remember those darkflarb comments from a while back, some forum admin must have been paying attention.
I also think it's pretty interesting that the forum picked up on "DarkFlarb", somebody is lurking in our little community I'm not usually interested in altcoins myself, but I can see how people can enjoy them. Most altcoin "investing" is a lot like gambling. I can see how trying to navigate and manipulate these tiny markets could be fun for a lot of people. These pump-and-dump altcoins aren't really competitors to Bitcoin: they're really a way of using your bitcoins to gamble. There are also a handful of technologically interesting altcoins like Monero, which I think are very useful for testing new ideas that might one day be incorporated into Bitcoin.

I'll tell you one thing, the market manipulation isn't just turning me off to Monero, it's turning me off to crypto. I've been a supporter of Monero, but if it goes under 300k I'm absolutely going back to forex. Tired of this shit. If people just want to trash markets instead of letting them breathe naturally then don't be surprised when volume dies after a few months of action, just like in 2014.
So there you have it, at 299k I'm back to being a forex trader.
Werent you leaving if it were to hit under 0.0035?

Alienating significant audience in bitcointalk and potential backers due to abrasive trutherism in the forums and social media had nothing to do with it. After all there are no other chains with more coins emitted already with more value/coin right? I dont think that this is the reason but in the case it is: There are many many other choices for that significant audience and those potential backers. Please let this one for those that prefer truth than bullshit. And i am sure when and if time comes, they will hop on again or regret it.

Monero developer drops truth bombs: "No altcoins currently useful, majority are scams" http://ow.ly/ZRBop Thoughts? He has written these exact things other times too. He doesnt go for the hype and he is sincere. Cryptocurrencies are a very high risk investment and most of them are simple scams. So please dont mortgage your home to buy more of them.

App on my phone shows 27 mh/s nerwork hashrate, is that accurate?
Check again Edit: I think it is my fault. There is an app using moneroblocks.info api and for diverse reasons not yet tackled the API and the blockexplorer are distinct. Aaand I forgot to change the API HR calc. No it is not your fault. But my friend is working on it. soon.

The first monero exchange was created by him. He has his own opinion. He responds to the opinions and too bullish speculation of others in this thread.

I was literally just checking your profile because you were mentioned on IRC. And after months you post that exact time. Nice I totally agree with you. My opinion on monero though is that it could have a cap of 1-10% that of bitcoin. Being the more "shady" bitcoin brother and more privacy oriented. So i can see a future where monero is still remembered in 5 years. Maybe my optimism comes because after 2 years it is still here and looking good. We all know that it is rather probable to simply wither and die though. The trillions/gazillions numbers are too random talking at best. Edit: I would anyway prefer monero to stay lower than btc because in my thinking that would mean that it could stay more decentralized.
