may i ask why dont you just buy the shit out of it then? I tend to believe you but this one is mysterious.

Only 10-15 BTC buy side liquidity.  Maybe it will increase if what he says is true, but liquidity is difficult to deal with in anything that isn't in the top 10, or even top 5 obviously.

oh i didnt know it was so dead
1062  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: May 09, 2014, 07:03:16 AM

So you dissected my "Command of your intellect" from that post. Great inductive reasoning. You must be be genius.

Wow, there's hope for you yet!  Cheesy

The only thing that has changed in my opinion is that Maxcoin isn't dead and will make a huge comeback.

I fucking hate Max Keiser but I do have to admit he has the star power to promote a crypto coin if he wants and he has clearly indicated to me, he will be back.

I would like to invest in some of these coins but have tried to download and install the wallet by using the new binaries link but I don't get a wallet as such just some files.

Is there an idiots guide to creating a wallet so I can buy some coins to put in it or is there far more to it than that?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg6586737#msg6586737

This might help.

This coin is not a bitcoin clone and so it hasnt yet a graphics interface. Its command line for now. But there is a bounty for GUI and soon there must be one...

Remember to backup your wallet once you create it!

Are you on windows or linux btw?

Thanks for your reply and the link. I've already looked through that and it doesn't make much sense to me I'm afraid, perhaps if I spend some time on it later after work it might.

Yes its the graphics interface part that I'm not used to. Must have been spoiled with all the other coins I've tinkered with Smiley.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

I dont have Windows unfortunately but i think that all you have to do is:

1. Create a text file on the folder with the files
2. Put the following in the text file:

@echo off

tasklist /FI "IMAGENAME eq bitmonerod.exe" 2>NUL | find /I /N "bitmonerod.exe">NUL
if not %ERRORLEVEL% == 0 (
  echo Starting node...
  start /MIN bitmonerod.exe
) else (
  echo Node already started.
)

tasklist /FI "IMAGENAME eq simplewallet.exe" 2>NUL | find /I /N "simplewallet.exe">NUL
if not %ERRORLEVEL% == 0 (
  if exist wallet.bin.keys (
    echo Starting previous wallet...
    start simplewallet.exe --wallet wallet.bin
  ) else (
    echo Starting new wallet...
    start simplewallet.exe --generate-new-wallet wallet.bin
  )
) else (
  echo Wallet already started.
)

3. Save as the file and where it asks you about name write start.bat
4. Then in the folder a file named start.bat will appear. Just double click it. It will ask you for a password. Put a strong one and remember it! It will be your wallets password.

Where are the binaries? It has passed 16:00 GMT hasn't it?
I like the flatter emission schedule and longer block time of 2 min Smiley.
Where can I find a mining tutorial, please?

I suppose because community changed the name....

Better to say ''what devs (I mean tacotime and other guys) decided''

Quote
Let's give a chance to the community to decide themselves! Fair voting for the our coin name!

GIVE A CHANCE! I am in as far as I am able to represent my wishes and view.

Quote
I guess tft could actually stopped this if he wanted if he was ever online responding in anything

Sounds like you are trying to make TFT the scapegoat for every little thing that went wrong with Monero.

Give a chance to the community of course. But please dont bring all the sockpuppets of bytecoin and fantomcoin here. And btw what is the problem with the name? Why the hell has tft taken it so personal?!

Nothing went wrong with monero. Quite the opposite. You wouldnt bitching if it did. Yes, i dont like TFT and i have stated why. Can you please tell me if i am wrong on what i am saying about TFT?
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures on: May 07, 2014, 04:54:13 PM
Fair voting for the our coin name!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=599455.0

How many sockpuppets do you have to keep up with voting?

Me? None.

Why am I not so cool as David Latapie and do not have much patience not to answer to the trolls  Cry
Please, let's don't huff each other.

Maybe you know whose all those 2 months accounts on Bytecoin and Fantomcoin are. Like 3-4 of them were created in the same day. And all of them loving merge mining with bytecoin. LOL
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BMR vs MRO. Time to make it fair. on: May 07, 2014, 04:49:19 PM
The only one that has problem with the name is tft and it wouldnt be a sneaky poll for him if he was ever online watching what is going on with the coin instead of abandoning it.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures on: May 07, 2014, 04:42:02 PM
1) How exactly did you benefit the community and the coin?
2) When is the open source miner going to be released? Why it wasn't? Please, provide exact technical details on that "unstable code thing".
3) Why did you change your attitude towards closed-source miner?
4) Why did you take over the coin and create a second thread when there was one already there?
5) Why did you change the domain name and forked the rep, while keeping the blockchain that you never started?
6) Why do you keep avoiding this very clear questions.

1) Community is benefited by not associating (merged mining) with a 80% premined coin called bytecoin. Also coin and algo became more known due to this community which brings more people interested in it and trying to make it better.
2) I dont know about this. I personally dont have a better miner than others. They have already answered you about but i agree that NoodleDoodle could also answer you.
3) Noone changed anything as far as i understand. Someone made one and is using it as it has happened countless times in every single coin out there.
4) Because tft was never responding and chaning anything on the thread. And OP must be refreshing a lot especially at first days of a coin.
5) I suppose because community changed the name of the coin disagreeing with tft about the name. I guess tft could actually stopped this if he wanted if he was ever online responding in anything. As for the blockchain, last time i checked noone owns a blockchain except miners. Not dev.
6) Will you still spam  your comments now that i answered?
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures on: May 07, 2014, 03:38:29 PM
I guess if bytecoin guys give a fuck about community and tft actually responded to what people say he wouldnt lose control of a coin so miserably as it seems he deserves.

That's so rude of you, man.

Yes man its rude. I know.  But from the start this was exackly what i saw you doing. Instead of creating a coin that could be great you just wanted to make bytecoin's price rise.
And then when community didnt want merge mining you just disappeared...

I have always thought that cryptocurrency people do their own coins instead of stealing them from others  Wink

I thought that open source cryptocurrency is being developed by community Wink

Edit: I am sorry for being aggresive but i hate premine

In favor of instamine, may I ask? Smiley

Wasnt tft that made the mistake with the curve? I may be wrong here but i think it was tft's mistake that the coin is being mined faster than proposed...And voices were heard that it wasnt a mistake...

And you know what, no i dont like instamine. I prefer it 10 times over premine. Make a coin with no premine and no instamine and i will support it with my full power. Seriously.

There is no instamine. Difficulty adjustment is per block.  Blocks are coming in at almost the same rate they were a few days ago. Instamine refers to setting block reward artificially high or difficulty artificially low at the start of the chain, which has never happened with this coin.

some people are calling instamining the face that we will have all coins out at 8 years instead of following bitcoin's...

Merged mining is what crypto currencies need now. It allows to use resources effectively and as miner I would like to use this feature. Thanks FantomCoin for this ability..I don’t understand authors of BitMonero, why the didn’t they implement merged mining?? Huh Huh

Because there is no reason to merge mine with a coin that has 80% premine.

All you guys wanted to do was to get attention to bytecoin by creating another coin and MM on its blockchain. It looks like you failed because people got the point quite easily. Thats why he lost control. Why the fuck anyone would like to merge mine with a 80% premined coin that devs playing hide and seek on tor?

You have your fantomcoin now. Hope it succeeds. Go make people mine it hoping it will drag bytecoin upwards...

Crossed The Lined

I do not care if you spread fud about me in the forum. I do not care if you felt the need to post my personal info since I am not hiding and never I tried to hide. But to post a pic of a teenage girl in an open forum that is mostly men is not only fucking deplorable, it goes to show what kind of low lives you really are. I have ALL your names and addresses and I NEVER once thought about posting that info on this forum. There are people from this forum and CryptoRush who would love to have Soepkip's address, and I would never have crossed that line. One of you better PM me and resolve this now before I decide to start crossing the line. And I promise you....you do not want me to start crossing the line. I do not want to see not one more fucking post from your fake accounts or minions.

Please do! It will be fun i guess. More drama!

But it clearly says wallet! You are in the wrong place. You must type show_hr on bitmonerod
