221  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: April 09, 2020, 06:30:18 PM
Exactly, that's the reality I think all crypto enthusiasts should come to in conclusion with. We can not completely get rid of Fiat currency to using cryptocurrencies but I think both currencies can coexist so that people choose which to use depending on what they are doing at the moment.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 09, 2020, 05:58:39 PM
Of course, the crypto industry thrives on news, updates and new developments that are popping up in the industry. Imagine if both the US and China announces to start using Bitcoin or adopt any use case of a crypto project. It will cause a rise in the market cap of that coin for sure and early investors are going to make huge profits.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 09, 2020, 05:44:04 PM
This is a great idea but I doubt whether some of these bounty managers will consent to this proposal. This will avoid situations of delays of payments as well as sudden change of payment details. However, you can visit the Service Discussion board as such BTC paid bounties are held there.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: April 08, 2020, 10:38:31 PM
Exactly. instead of team members putting plans together about the use case of the project to increase the use and demand of the token. They rather blame bounty hunters for selling the scanty amounts of tokens/coins they gave them without considering the loose token mechanics and the huge insane bonuses offered to investors which makes them dump their holdings as soon the coin hits the market.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser add-ons are just not safe on: April 08, 2020, 10:13:37 PM
The browser add ons are one of the scam strategies that hackers use to steal the funds and information of people. They deploy fake addons into the marketplace so once any use installs on their computer it gives them access to steal sensitive information. some scammers also do these by developing fake mobile applications, especially in the android market in order to have access to the funds of users. I think we can all avoid this if we try to download stuffs right from the main websites instead of visiting app stores
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Store your bitcoin on: April 08, 2020, 09:53:42 PM
Yeah, the sudden market crash in all assets markets made bitcoin plunge deep but some of us also see this as a real opportunity to purchase bitcoins at a very low price. Once this dangerous disease is put under control and people start going about their economic activities it will definitely bring about the long-awaited bull run of bitcoin. Though this run might not set a new ATH but the profits worth taking.
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 12K USD is the next target? on: April 07, 2020, 03:46:19 PM
$12K is not likely going to happen anytime soon. Achievable targets were within the ranges of $8K-$10K and that was even predicted by some technical analysts after bitcoin halving. But right now with the situation of COVID 19 I doubt these predictions will come through.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: April 07, 2020, 03:20:08 PM
Well, I work with some companies in this industry and though I accept payment fully in Bitcoin and rarely Ethereum I still have to cash out in order to settle real-world debts like utility bills you know. Moreover, you still need to purchase groceries and all of that but I have planned to save 10% of every monthly pay for the long term holding.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for games to earn/win free cryptocurrency on: April 07, 2020, 03:12:10 PM
Most games are not giving much even after wasting so much time playing on their platform especially if you are playing the demo games and not the paid ones. However, there is this platform which just got in about some few months ago and I think you can earn about $3-$5 by playing their demo games. Also, i have had several friends who have shown me proof of a successful withdrawal in BTC. Maybe you can check it out at https://acewins.io
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain Really Revolutionizing The World? on: April 06, 2020, 09:05:08 PM
It's still very young to make such conclusions about Blockchain revolutionizing the world though some existing institutions have already started deploying their services with the use of blockchain technology. However, the goal of blockchain technology was designed by Satoshi Nakamoto to help cut down the chain of transactions as well as put power back into the hands of the people.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens on: April 05, 2020, 10:06:09 PM
It's all about designing good token economics regarding the use of the coin on the exchange platform. Binance has done very well and that is the reason why it has made the coin grow so rapidly. At the moment one of the upcoming exchange whose token i would entreat y'all to get your hands on is AAB by AAX exchange.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Satoshi theory? Deceased or alive & well on: April 05, 2020, 08:55:28 PM
Does it matter? That dude wants to stay off the public stream. I think we can all do him a favour and stop bringing up topics about him. At least he has left us a legacy we should be proud of and also be more focused on developing and building for the world to use. i don't know how talks about his whereabouts is going to do us any good or the development of blockchain technology in the near future.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: April 05, 2020, 08:38:35 PM
Those are mostly comments from noobs who invest in projects with the aim of making tons of money in the shortest time. During those times especially in 2017 when ICOs were booming with profits news got out there about the quick way of making money by investing in crypto projects. This is the concept most noobs have in mind when investing so when things go the other way of a bearish season they start calling out scams.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: April 04, 2020, 04:27:26 PM
Well researched @OP I have been using Gurda wallet, Coinomi, Trust, ImToken and the phone version of MEW which allows you to connect with their web interface. These are very good and secured wallets which I would recommend for everybody in this industry.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: April 04, 2020, 04:04:11 PM
It's pointless and does not affect us(crypto enthusiasts) in any way because it would be like they are choosing to stick with using another form of digital centralized currency. Trust me it will no work and I hope the citizens of those countries would do a good research to know this before it is even launched. I know China and the US are planning of this movement.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will this have any impact or not? on: April 04, 2020, 04:00:30 PM
What's going to happen if CZ and binance start getting rid of some projects on Coinmarketcap? Especially those with bad volume and Liquidity and also dead projects, because many are on coinmarketcap, what do you think this will do for crypto space? Will it have any impact or not?
It will certainly have an impact. I would not have to scroll through several pages when looking for coins I can invest in because I know after the clean up so many cryptocurrencies would be delisted from Coinmarket cap. Some folks see it as some form of centralization in this industry but I don't think so because i believe CZ together with his team are going to lay down some specific targets to meet before being listed on CMC.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Is Key to the Mass Adoption of Crypto on: April 02, 2020, 12:02:33 AM
I don't think so, if we are looking to leverage something that is done by almost everyone on the globe then it's social media platforms that we should really look at. I for instance, I ain't a gamer and so do many friends of mine. However, on social media like Facebook, Instagr and Twitter almost everyone interacts on these platforms. The success with global adoption that would come with social media far exceeds that off gaming.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 01, 2020, 11:29:35 PM
Is because of the safety and insurance that the government investment platforms offer its members. I have seen in my country when a bank goes bankrupt and the government takes over to pay the debt gradually but this only applies to approved banks where the government owns some shares in it. Many people have been deceived by several crypto projects in their ICO and IEO and could not build any solid project. these are the number of projects that i have lost huge amounts of money in MiracleTele, Vivid, CryptAssist, Lympo, Flogmall etc. I can't even count them Huh
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you read about crypto? Favorite sources? on: April 01, 2020, 11:08:00 PM
I do like the popular ones such as Cointelegraph, coindesk, coinsutra but I just came across this platform CryptoAdventure and i love how they keep things simple over there. They have a beginners section where they have reviewed most of the popular coins on CMC and i would suggest this all to the crypto noobs. Most of the well-known content platforms sometimes get too technical but with CryptoAdventure they try to keep things as basic and simple for the layman in this industry. Visit the link below to have access to their website
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stimulus plus halving could cause the real crypto bull on: April 01, 2020, 09:20:32 PM
True talk @OP, this stimulus from the government and the long-awaited Bitcoin halving can really send the crypto market into a short bull run. I am not optimistic about a major one because people need to rebuild themselves once this economic recession is over then we can see major and active trading across markets. This would also pave the way for new investors to also come on board. Hence i am very hopeful in the long term of hodling bitcoin at this moment when it has gotten too cheap to purchase.
