21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Vidulum [VDL] Multi-Asset Web Wallet feat. V-Staking [GPU Algo][POW/MN] on: September 09, 2020, 08:18:19 AM
This is my first time hearing of this wallet even though it seems to have been launched a very long time ago. I love the dark UI and the colourful nature that it represents the holdings of users. So I read a bit about your V-Staking feature and I think it's an interesting feature that makes staking very easy as compared to staking on desktop wallets and having to keep your computer running all the time. I will be looking forward to probe more into this project.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto is alive? Today he posted on p2p foundation. Your opinion? on: September 04, 2020, 11:50:28 PM
I doubt he is the original Satoshi, the best to do is to sign a private message using th private key of the address holding the genesis coins or btter still just move coins. His come back would really bring some good momentum in th entire crypto maket. Hopefully we touch nw all time highs of bitcoin with such a news.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yearn.Finance (YFI) hits $28k on: September 04, 2020, 11:30:22 PM
Well funny enough I saw this damn coin at $15K and I bought som fractions of it which now has made mesom decent pofits when it touched $35K, Bitcoin has ruined the whole market with this massive dump. Actually this was foretold but I did not think this dump will come soon. Some folks are saying that Trump will not let the market crash just as the US elections are just at the corner. So lets hope the market rises back again.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 04, 2020, 11:20:29 PM
This is no loss as the entire market has dumped so it is likely that every coin is dumping along. The best thing to do right now is to take a break, have some fun and watch the charts and just hodl your assets. Don't panic sell and you have nothing to lose. Curently my portfolio is down by 4 figures and its pretty normal if you have been in this industry for long.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Stop bitcoin? on: August 30, 2020, 03:04:56 PM
No, and I don't see any reason why he would ever want to do that seeing the revolution he has caused in the financial industry. Moreover, the power supporting the bitcoin network is now decentralized and in the power of the people hence Satoshi can't stop it but he can surely threaten the market if he decides to move the genesis coins and dump them.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Missing the current DEFI pump on: August 30, 2020, 02:53:14 PM
Well, I totally agree with this as I recently bought into a presale which has already risen x40. This is insane and the reality is that this project is no scam as everything is transparent and the use case backing the project is a very laudable one. In addition, it is supported by one of the biggest marketing companies in this industry hence have all the connection to succeed.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 30, 2020, 12:00:02 AM
The cost of gas fees these days are very high and I think this is mainly due to high gas fees that are paid on uniswap by defi token holders who are constantly increasing their tx fees so that their transactions are confirmed fast enough. However, I think this is really nothing much to complain about as this is very cheap as compared to fees that are paid when transacting through banks. Transacting through cryptocurrencies is always cheaper and faster than fiat.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI on: August 29, 2020, 11:54:40 PM
Thanks for the heads up but I think we should all be very careful which coins we invest in and also take links from official pages. For instance I have noticed scamers making copies of fake coins like Open Predict Protocol in order to deceive investors. Let us not be greedy and also don't FOMO  into coins or tokens when you see a spike in price
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate DeFi News Sites and Resource List 🚀 on: August 28, 2020, 06:05:42 PM
Wow! Thanks a lot buddy, I have been planning to look out for some of these DeFi Media outlets in order to help some upcoming projects that I am working with. This really saves me the time from roaming on google haha...Some of the great sites I have come across are Defi Prime and Defi.cx. Also, don't forget defidad on youtube, he really shares great content on his youtube channel.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: August 28, 2020, 05:56:15 PM
I think we are already in this era where DeFi projects are rewarding private investors x30 of their principal amount. Take a look at Mantra, Open Predict, all these projects are doing very well on the market. Damn, I forgot Polkadot which is the new gem out there. I think this bull run it's coming with only DeFi related projects.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 28, 2020, 05:48:15 PM
It was quite a sad thing when YAM looking very promising ended up getting its investors rekt due to the exploit in their smart contract. I think we should all take a good lesson of not jumping right into any defi project but wait to see a third party audit of their smart contract before investing with them. A good example is BZX Protocol, Zap etc.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 21, 2020, 09:55:51 PM
Currently, I have spotted two coins $TWEE and $OPT and i think these coins though have risen significantly I am pretty sure they have a higher chance of increasing the more. Both coins are the native coins on their staking platform together with other use cases that will drive in liquidity of the tokens. This makes me want to hold this coin till the end of the year.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: August 21, 2020, 09:53:00 PM
Not at all mate @OP. There is no way they can control bitcoin unless maybe they rather break the anonymity that comes with Bitcoin transactions. for instance, they can rather enforce cryptocurrency exchanges to make sure that all users undergo strict KYC process in order to trade their cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea and Australia, they are bitcoin pro on: August 18, 2020, 11:51:57 PM
That's true, ever since I got into this space I have come across several Korean projects and Australian projects. People from these countries take initiatives and understand the potential of blockchain technology and how it can impact this world. Too bad most countries in Africa don't recognize this.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 18, 2020, 11:35:19 PM
Through the knowledge of bitcoin I got to know about the entire blockchain technology through which i have made friends all over the world, learn a lot from several people and happen to be part of a project that is helping in the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: LEDU STRAIGHT UP SCAM , DID NOT PAY FOR BOUNTY MANAGMENT on: August 16, 2020, 12:06:59 PM
Sorry brother, I don't know the terms of the agreement but I thought most BMs actually get paid even before they kickstart a campaign. I mean, building a whole thread is work enough to get paid and also managing it is a whole new job too. however, sorry for your loss and I hope the team will be kind enough to pay you your due money.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons Why am I adding as many Ethereum bags as possible? on: August 16, 2020, 11:04:37 AM
Well, I am in a private trading group as well and i want to be generous with this community about the price growth of Ethereum. They gave a price increase of seeing Ethereum around $600 by the end of September so i would advise y'all to hoard some Ethereum as soon as possible because we are going to see another rise in the coming days.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 16, 2020, 10:09:19 AM
I think the best thing to do is to send it back but then what if this person was just some whale trying to tip you for making a good contribution in this community or making a huge impact in the crypto space. OP talked about the signed message but if he signs this message where are you going to meet him supposing he is not in this forum for you to see the signed message. Anyway, I think the best thing to do is to send it back and if he/she returns then you definitely know is a gift.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany Continues Shutting All Unlicensed Bitcoin ATMs on: August 16, 2020, 10:00:44 AM
I think it's good if public Automated Teller Machines for bitcoin transactions are licensed. I am sure, through all this regulations and registration it is going to make sure that the ATM is well and functioning so that people's funds don't get locked up without them being paid back their bitcoins.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam victims on: August 15, 2020, 05:01:35 AM
Sorry about your loss man but to be honest with you there is absolutely no way for you to get your funds back especially in ICOs and IEOs. What you need to do next time is to make sure that whatever funds you are investing in any project is something you can afford to lose and also the project is worth investing in. So you might want to consider things like use cases, token economics,  experienced team members etc.
