41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany Continues Shutting All Unlicensed Bitcoin ATMs on: August 16, 2020, 10:00:44 AM
I think it's good if public Automated Teller Machines for bitcoin transactions are licensed. I am sure, through all this regulations and registration it is going to make sure that the ATM is well and functioning so that people's funds don't get locked up without them being paid back their bitcoins.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam victims on: August 15, 2020, 05:01:35 AM
Sorry about your loss man but to be honest with you there is absolutely no way for you to get your funds back especially in ICOs and IEOs. What you need to do next time is to make sure that whatever funds you are investing in any project is something you can afford to lose and also the project is worth investing in. So you might want to consider things like use cases, token economics,  experienced team members etc.
43  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitMex demanded KYC documents. on: August 15, 2020, 04:57:33 AM
Sorry to hear this but in the near future most exchanges will surely be going with this new way of requesting all users to undergo Know Your Customer process. Maybe you should try other mixers as well if they have flagged Wassabi. There are the likes of Samourai wallet and Bitcoin mixers, these are equally good and I know folks that have used them before and had no problem.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: August 13, 2020, 10:26:13 PM
You are so right brother, Centralized wallets are not the way to go currently in this industry especially if you value the safety of your money. Just consider this bug issue that occurred with Yam project what if any centralized wallet also has a similar bug? This will lead to huge funds of wallet from users. I think we all need to stick to non custodial wallets such as Vidulum, Guarda and Atomic wallet.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment advice needed from experts on: August 12, 2020, 05:17:29 PM
Sorry about your losss man, that token from Mcfee really saw some huge rise and i think you missed the rise. Frankly speaking they have another coin called SWITCH and that seems to be doing pretty well, if you were holding your ESH then you should equally be having the new token called switch and that is doing pretty well on the market. maybe sell the switch and keep on holding on the ESH. You never know this can turn into something great in future.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: August 12, 2020, 05:03:08 PM
Aside Bitcoin which is the main gem of this industry I like some alts like Harmony Coin, Elrond, DIVI and Digibyte. These are alts that have very good use cases solving some problems in traditional systems. The coins you chose are equally good ones and have great uses int his industry and you can invest in them in a long term.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Those initial exchange offering (IEO) reduce opportunities for bounty hunters? on: August 11, 2020, 11:40:46 PM
In a way it affects the number of bounty projects that were launched in this forum some years back but I mean does it really matter as most bounties have not been paying anything worth it. However, some projects after IEO still have some form of bounties such as testnet, bug test etc. Maybe is time we took bounty hunting on a different level with skills and creativity.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on new ATH on: August 10, 2020, 09:15:45 PM
I think things are still not clear with this pandemic and whether the economic crash is going to resurrect any moment from now but I think we should see a rise in market gradually from now onwards as most countries have started opening up economic activities. But the highest i will expect is say bitcoin around $15K
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Calls On Hackers to Attack Ethereum 2.0 in Exchange for Bug Bounty on: August 06, 2020, 11:48:44 PM
I love it when I see any form of Ethical hacking which only brings out the best in any product. I believe it's worth it if the ETH network is subjected to a stress network test for vulnerabilities so that once ETH 2.0 is launched on proof of stake there are not going to be any issues of the system being hacked.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best place to find new low cap projects? on: August 06, 2020, 11:46:19 PM
I am a gem hunter and most of low cap coins with good use cases that I found were from Idex, and Coingecko. Actually, Coingecko is one of the platforms that you should be checking regularly if you are looking to to catch some of these good projects at a very young stage.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Foundation ETH2, The Biggest Update For Etherum | From PoW To PoS on: August 05, 2020, 10:06:45 PM
That's so true, the switch to Proof of stake protocol is one big move for the Ethereum network to increase its scalability and adoption. Once that is done more decentralized applications should be able to get deployed on the network with very low fees. Moreover, we are going to have a network which is faster and less cheap in terms of transaction fees as compared to what we are experiencing currently.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 05, 2020, 05:15:09 PM
It's so sad what happened to the people of Beirut but I have always had it in mind to store backups of my files in other places especially in my relative's house...just that they will not be in plain words but they would have some form of coding where i am going to be the only one to understand it.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: August 03, 2020, 11:38:18 PM
Don't fall the green candles that is being pushed into this project because it's likely going to collapse pretty soon. I am not in any way saying this project is scam but i think many folks are being drawn to it because of the increase in price of the coin as a result of its low supply. Focus on its real-world use case folks.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto project team members needed on: August 01, 2020, 11:25:08 PM
It would be a pleasure to be a part of a blockchain solution however i think you would cath more eyes and many members to get on board if you had dropped this post in the Altcoin Announcement. I am sure many people will notice it over there than posting in here. Don't forget to send me details as to how I can join. My pm is always open even to a newbie!
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: August 01, 2020, 11:21:52 PM
Generally it did not bring much of positivity but one thing that i have realized is that through these times I have taken up so many hobbies that have helped me a lot. I have taken some developing skills as well as having series of blockchain podcasts for a youtube channel and it has been fun all along.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree with the experts? on: July 31, 2020, 10:55:51 PM
Lol, this space is still too young to trust in the knowledge of someone as an expert. I would say you can use their knowledge for further research but do not base your decisions on the calls and says of someone. We are all still learning and we have a long way to go, best is to do your own research before taking any position when it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: July 31, 2020, 10:42:59 PM
finally, these guys are going to be fished out! these bitcoin mixers are good at keeping transactions very secured and anonymous but i bet there are other solutions that can go beyond the ordinary and locate these wallets and where the bitcoins are sent to. Will be happy to hear what really comes out of this follow up!
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hacker Arrested! on: July 31, 2020, 10:34:47 PM
Damn dude.

This kid is going to get one hefty sentence.
I will not be surprised if he is going to be working under serious guide to unlock some other applications. The guy brain is too hot to be wasted just like that.
oh please, there are equally better ethical hackers out there so let's not make it seem like this guy is a genius. What they did was wrong and must be punished severely for it. This should go a long way to server to detter other illegal hackers from hatching such plan and rather use their talent for something good.
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too Many Altcoins! on: July 30, 2020, 10:47:09 PM
That's right but don't forget that it is through these altcoins that we are seeingall these numerous blockchain solutions which are driving cryptocurrencies close to mass adoption. Some are turning out to be shit coins i know but let's not forget there are equally good ones out there so let's not label all of them as worthless.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Korea proposes 20% tax on crypto trading starting 2021 on: July 30, 2020, 10:19:18 PM
No offence but this is way to much. I mean 20% is huge compared to the average traders not the institutions and over the counter point of sales outlets. I think they should really be clear about this tax system as it is not fair. Moreover, i am just hoping to see crypto being used in real world, that way there will not be much need for all these cash out which bring about taxation.
