581  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next? on: November 17, 2019, 04:56:54 PM
I made a similar post last week shoeing concern about one more dump before the halving but after few expert's advise and review from tenured users I think the market will not go as predicted and we might not see any dump before halving as the whales cannot risk applying same pattern when the market is already aware of the forecast and might react differently if dump occurs. I feel there will not be any dump before halving but what's your opinion.?
Back in the days, whales played on the naivety of crypto noobs to manipulate the market but currently we have several crypto blog outlets that get people informed with the latest information in the crypto industry. Right now, almost everybody is aware that bitcoin halving is likely to be followed by strong bulls hence nobody want to sell cheap and miss out on this rise of bitcoin when it sets in.
I have planned to save half a thousand dollars in BTC waiting just this halving.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance.US Will List Qtum (QTUM) on: November 17, 2019, 02:27:36 PM
I just looked up on OPs reference about QTUM coin and it seems a disaster to me. I would not admonish anybody to buy into this imminent pump and dump scheme that is going to take place on Binance. In such situations, the whales of this project have filled their bags to the brim and ready to dump unto new investors when they get listed. I would stay away from investing into such projects.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the positive news and those users? on: November 17, 2019, 12:46:38 PM
There is a trend in this forum whenever there is a dump there will be a group of people who will spam the forum with FUD and then there are a set of people post unrealistic things will bitcoin will cross $50k if it pumps by few hundred dollars,  right now I don't see anyone predicting the price. Does it mean people have learnt no one can predict the price or just waiting for right moment again?
Pay less attention to those people who keep on shilling about bitcoin's price in the upcoming years without making any real analyses of its adoption and its usage. I think what these new comers have come to the realize is that...though bitcoin's value is volatile FUDS like these in the forum don't have any effect on the price of bitcoin. Bitcoin's price is mainly affected by major development about it such as its halving or increase in the adoption in other countries.
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitgoin is going to moon 1.5.2021 it will hit 236K on: November 17, 2019, 06:36:27 AM
Well we are likely to see bitcoin have an increase in price in the upcoming years but don't forget also that bitcoin has never had a smooth upward rise continuously for three years. Bitcoin is volatile and if you  are really being realistic with your predictions i would say $15k+ is possible by the end of bitcoin halving.

By the end of that year we should have reached an all time high of $20k+ and directly after that we may see some correction in price as new and impatient investors would be selling of their holdings again. You know, just the normal routine that happened in 2017 Cool. Through it all, we would still be here making profits patiently.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Truth on: November 16, 2019, 05:28:01 PM
Bitcoin is surely the mode of payment which if implemented into the government industry it will prevent bribery and corruption among government officials. With the use of bitcoin every transaction can be traced on the blockchain ledger and that is the main reason why these government officials don't want to approve of bitcoin. Imagine the number of new currencies that are printed yet unaccounted for. Bitcoin will definitely put a stop to all their dubious activities
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Bitcoin - AVOID "Get Rich Quick" Shit Coin Pump and Dump on: November 16, 2019, 02:31:08 PM
I can't disagree with you on that mate... I can share so many experiences where i run at a huge loss upon investing into some of the ICOs that were launched into this space. However my investments in Bitcoin has never disappointed me. I always make decent amount of profits anytime i buy into it when the market dips and hold till it rises again. Bitcoin is a sure bet to a profit gained investment, all you need to do is to be patient and stay off the market charts all day.
587  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are people of today hates learning? on: November 15, 2019, 05:26:49 PM
Thus is a real mystery you know. These days people are lazy to sit their butts down and go by the painful way of doing their own research. Rather they would want to rely solely on the assessments of people hence being spoon fed all the time. This is what mostly get crypto noobs scammed. For instance MEW has guidelines as to how to make transactions yet someone would ask in a public group how this is done and scammers use this to lure them away. Lets' all cultivate the habit of learning how to do stuffs when guidelines are provided
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One solid reason that I came across for the need of BitCoins. <Be Your own Bank> on: November 15, 2019, 09:05:49 AM
I know it will surprise most of you that at this age of mine way over 20s and i don't find any reason to open a bank account. I just hate these dudes and their monopoly when it comes to managing our own funds. I hold all my funds in cryptocurrencies especially usdt and btc. Whenever i need it i just cash it out and spend it.

Going forward, we really need to push for the adoption of cryptocurrencies and this would happen if people really get to know how to use cryptocurrencies. i have started teaching my nuclear family and a couple of friends too.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An investor lost $24 million worth of bitcoin on: November 15, 2019, 05:06:38 AM
This space never gets cleaned from all these series of hack and security breach. i really want to know how this sim hack was possible without them having a direct access with his phone. Anyway i am sorry for his laws and i hope the criminals leave a loose end in their plot so that they can be apprehended. This is the original article that the OP referenced from...You all can go and have a look over here.

590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Hong Kong protesters use Btc for anything? on: November 15, 2019, 03:36:04 AM
Lol, why only sideline the protesters in Hong Kong? Anyway i guess there are no rules regarding to the ban of cryptocurrencies and even if they were i believe we would have seen all these projects that are based in there not thriving but i know most Hong Kong based projects that are doing an amazing job on the market.

The protesters on the other hand might be using bitcoin for their own purposes unknown to the world. They are fighting for a democratic change where people are free to go about their duties without the intervention and control from the government.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 14, 2019, 07:01:45 PM
Bounty campaigns are form of cheap marketing services and this create a whole lot of hype and also makes the project known in the entire crypto industry. So it's best to get the project out there so that people can participate fully when the ICO/IEO begins or else there would be low participation it in the initial offering.
592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First ever appearance of the inventor of Proof of Stake, Sunny King on: November 14, 2019, 05:13:39 PM
Thanks for sharing this post because i thought Proof of Stake was invented by the DASH team since they were the first coin to launch masternodes into this industry. Well i guess Sunny King is one of the inventors that does not want to be in the spot light of the media until he has somethnig new to show for. Well as you can see this appearance came along with an announcement of a new and improved Proof of Stake perhaps, Supernode Proof of Stake. Well let's see how it Sunny awes this industry with his new invention.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance to Open Beijing Office Amid China’s Renewed Blockchain Push on: November 14, 2019, 03:13:22 PM
Changpeng Zhao is always trying to expand his business with the slightest opportunity. Well it all up to the profits of his company so yeah it is a good idea but i don't see how setting up an office over there can convince the government to soften up on cryptocurrencies. What the government would be interested in is the huge tax that they would be taking from them lol.
594  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fun with Bitcoin (Jokes) on: November 14, 2019, 09:04:54 AM
hahahahaaha...Damn it man, you are making my day this morning. i guess we can all use some joke after this market crash. Lets hope the market volatility does not render our bitcoins as water  or a bottle of beer  in the next 48 hours lol. and if things does not thank then we can all be cruising some lambos in the next 5 years.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China’s Digital Currency Will Allow Consumers ‘Controllable Anonymity’ on: November 13, 2019, 07:24:28 PM
I don't think controlling anonymity makes users have the total financial freedom and privacy that they need from the government. If they don't regard already cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum as good to use by their country then it's best to make it a decentralized blockchain network with full anonymity or better still just stick with their fiat currency.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should answer the important questions to increase Bitcoin adoption on: November 13, 2019, 05:05:41 PM
As an entrepreneur I always look for the challenges when I want to think about something new that would change the normal way that people are

doing things. This mindset has never changed and I am always looking for easier and more user-friendly ways of doing things. Back in the day I did

most of the boring work with complicated Dos batch files or scripts to get things done quicker. So how do we apply that mindset to Bitcoin?

The answer is simple >>> "Look for the problems in the other payment systems and solve that with Bitcoin"

~~ Is Bitcoin more convenient to use?
~~ Is Bitcoin cheaper to use and where will that solve problems?
~~ Is Bitcoin safer to use than traditional payment options? Where will it be safer to use?
~~ Is Bitcoin easy to use (How can we make it easier to use?)
~~ Is Bitcoin faster than other payment options? (Where can we apply it to solve problems with other slow payment options?)
~~ Are we using Bitcoin for the correct applications? (Trading or Currency) What should we focus on?

These are some relevant questions that needs to be addressed. However, i think we can also consider the following questions as well
1. Are there enough marketplaces or online stores that accept bitcoin across the world?
2. How are sellers and buyers going to be protected against the volatility of bitcoin?

These are just some of the questions that we need to ask to get to a better solution for the problems with the other payment options. Can you
think of any problems and challenges that Bitcoin can solve now and how do we use Bitcoin to solve these problems now?
One of the challenges in the traditional payment system that bitcoin has solved is keeping the financial records of people private but in terms of speed and convenience, Fiat beats bitcoin in that.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Preparing For the Bull Run After the 4% Surge on: November 13, 2019, 04:05:35 PM
The bull run of bitcoin seems to be dawning on us every moment in time and though this analysis seems quite solid the pivot of bitcoin's bull run lies largely on the bitcoin block halving reward which comes up next year in May. Hence the more reason why you need to fill your bags with some good amount of bitcoins before this bull run.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Akon endorses Akoin to save Africa on: November 13, 2019, 11:38:05 AM
Akon together with other celebrities like Etoo have been stars of the African continent especially in their respective countries. Most currencies in Africa have truly become worthless for instance due to the high inflation rate and the higher export rate at which most African countries import from the foreign countries. Through the introduction of a commonly accepted cryptocurrency hopefully this would stop the inflation and curb the bribery and corruption in some of these African country.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Security Token VS Utility Token on: November 13, 2019, 10:21:08 AM
In a volatile world like ours i would always go for a utility token either than a security token. Security projects need to approve themselves of several rules and regulations and this sometiimes stalls the development of the project hence there is a delay in the coming out with products of the project. When this happens, liquidity is mostly low and in the end investors end up making only scanty profits or none at all.
600  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 12, 2019, 07:39:08 PM
Trust me, no real crypto enthusiasts would ever go for that coin. We might as well stop using his social media platform anyway because it will be like giving him access into not our lives only but in our financial matters as well. These are private matters and need to be kept as such and not let in the open hence Satoshi's vision for bringing up cryptocurrencies in a decentralized manner, why make it a centralized one.
