441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I took a photo of my wallet seed with a 35mm camera on: January 05, 2020, 02:10:17 AM
No matter how you choose to stay private that is never the best of plans to keeping the seed phrase of your bitcoin wallet on your phone. Your phone can be bugged by anybody at any point in time and that would make you lose all your funds. Your seed phrase are safely stored hand written and stored safely in a safe or a vault lol.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about Bitcoin adoption on: January 05, 2020, 12:49:24 AM
Mass adoption of bitcoin has been a great problem which almost everybody in this industry is very aware of it but I also don't agree with what the OP suggested as solution. First of all, let's not forget that bitcoin transaction which has not been confirmed can be reversed. Also, another set back is that physical marketplaces don't really accept bitcoin as mode of payment but rather some online marketplaces do. A painful conclusion that i have come to realize is that mass adoption of cryptocurrencies would take place but it will not be with BTC.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex Barclays exec starts fiat/Bitcoin bank. on: January 04, 2020, 09:29:37 PM
Oh wow, this is great. I hope he is able to get the necessary legal documents to kick this into reality because i have seen similar solutions that stayed in the pipeline forever. This is what crypto enthusiasts should be about, bridging the gap between fiat and cryptocurrencies as payment methods and making it possible to use both as and when users desire.
444  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Big invest in bitcoin on: January 04, 2020, 07:41:25 AM
The price is still cheap at this level but i don't think it's very advisable to go in with an insane huge amount. Invest any substantial amount you can afford to lose, at least investing with something around $1k is good. Also, i would encourage long term investment more than short term plans due to the incoming bitcoin halving that is just around the corner.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 04, 2020, 07:36:58 AM
What! no way, if Satoshi is found bitcoin is likely going to see a huge exposure again with intentions that maybe Satoshi Nakamoto can alter the code of bitcoin to increase its scalability. How would the governments ask him to pay taxes on funds he never spent lol. If bitcoin is to be taxed then  i suggest the users pay for it themselves.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: January 04, 2020, 01:07:09 AM
Lol, i guess you really need ti go back and consider the whole technology behind bitcoin and its features as well. Bitcoin was created for the sake of financial privacy and so this assumption can't never happen hence not necessary to discuss it further or even consider the odds.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 04, 2020, 12:07:40 AM
Sure but the problem with sending bitcoins over bluetooth connection is that the network can easily be tempered with and bring about loss of funds. I have witnessed several situations where hackers used bluetooth connections in stealing people's data. I believe the use of QR Codes is enough and secured, let's stick with that folks.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Market Is Manipulated on: January 04, 2020, 12:00:10 AM
The OP is right in a way as some whales intentionally dump BTC on major exchanges and buy them at very cheap prices at smaller exchanges. This is the reason why you should not bother selling your BTC anytime you see the market fluctuate because you are only falling gullible to the games of whales. The funny thing is that they use bots in doing this so you definitely can't play this game with them, you just have to learn how to be patient till the price increases to an appreciable level for you to sell.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHANGE MY MIND: YouTube Did the Right Thing by Booting Crypto "Influencers" on: January 03, 2020, 05:57:34 PM
You have a point up there @OP but still i think they took this too far by banning them outright and also deleting some of their videos. If they think some of them are not credible with the information that they share and also try to scam them then they should rather improve their security mechanisms to track all those accounts down and ban them and not put everybody in the same situation. There are some good youtube education channels out there who help this cryptospace.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of browsers add-ons on: January 03, 2020, 01:58:41 PM
Thanks for the warning mate and frankly speaking i am not fan of the use of browser add ons  as that is one of the silent yet effective way through which hackers can steal the information of users. i am old school and don't like to get things always done in a chicken ease manner, most of them lead you to a big trouble in the latter days.
451  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 5K$ soon on: January 03, 2020, 12:59:50 PM
For last 6- 7 months btc price was around of 7.5k$ , now this support level is no longer, that mean btc is ready to dump hard.
hahaha, i guess Bitcoin is nor more dumping but rather pacing up for another short bull run up to $10K. One thing that i have learnt about the path and trend of bitcoin price is never to conclude on a big dump once you see price starting to drop. Sometimes whales who use bots to trade can play on this behaviour of newbies so that they get to buy them from the newbies.
452  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Bet Bitcoin Reaches $10k In the Next 5-7 Days! on: January 03, 2020, 12:51:12 PM
Anyone wants to take me on a bet Bitcoin price reaches $10,000+ in 5-7 days? After the bitcoin's record breaking network hash rate news come out, BTC lost $300+ (traded below $7k), then gain $500+ within hours.
Stop with the wild claims mate, do you know the number of crypto technical analysts that have made several of these predictions yet Bitcion always takes its own path? Please just do the guessing game and when you hit the bull eye's with your prediction then you can celebrate about that. Definitely bitcoin will go up but nobody really knows when this might set in place.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 will be a material year for crypto. What do you think? on: January 02, 2020, 12:44:43 PM
Absolutely, this year is coupled with numerous developments for blockchain technology and bitcoin is off no exception. What i am really interested in is where we can see a real increase in the adoption and use of bitcoin by buyers and sellers. In addition, the knowledge of blockchain technology is also increasing rapidly and it would help people to really appreciate blockchain solutions that are launched in to the world.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stats to kickoff 2020 on: January 02, 2020, 11:20:38 AM
Every historical shows clearly that investing into bitcoin is a sure bet to win in the future if you are patient enough. However many crypto technical analysts share so many negative comments about the future of bitcoin making it seem like it ain't worth investing into and they do this mainly so that newbies can sell of their bitcoins cheaply. Don't panic folks, bitcoin is surely going to rise with time, this is the time to accumulate as much as you can.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi has failed again! on: January 02, 2020, 08:12:52 AM
They will keep on failing as they are never the real Satoshi but fake ones who are hungry to claim the glory of having developed this technology. I don't know why he keeps on with this attitude and what he is trying to prove really with all these fake claims. he should really respect himself and stop with this attitude because it does not speak well of him Sad
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a global reserve currency? on: January 02, 2020, 05:59:19 AM
I don't think Bitcoin is fit to be called a currency mate. It's too volatile and did i hear the OP say bitcoin is not volatile? lol, when was the last time you checked Coinmarketcap? i think bitcoin just as gold is suitable as an asset to store value rather than a currency to be used in our daily activities. You can monitor the fluctuations in the price of bitcoin over here
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the lowest transaction fee bitcoin wallet? on: January 02, 2020, 05:49:19 AM
Many of you will say blockchain wallet. I use blockchain wallet.
But if we talk about transaction fees,
Its most of the times we have seen goes too high,if we have to send on high priority.

If we talk about Binance, it has minimum withdrawal fee of approx. 0.0005 BTC, approx. $3.00-$5.00
I would rather give it to Trust wallet or Coinomi wallet as the blockchain wallet with very low transaction fee. Blockchain wallet charges very high prices and also what really annoys me with their wallet is that they don't allow you to spend all your bitcoins in there Sad

With regards to Binance, i think they charge very high fees and they need to cut it down. Upon taking all this high fee they rather pay minimal blockchain fee for our transactions to be completed.
458  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: January 02, 2020, 12:58:05 AM
Lol, whenever you feel you have made enough profits upon  your principal amount but i would advice that no matter what never sell all your BTC holding because you never know when the bull run of bitcoin will set in. So my plan is always to have $500 worth of BTC stored in my wallet, i don't mind losing this money hence i choose to keep it despite all the fluctuations. Please hold an amount you can afford to lose.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best private investigator specializing in Cryptocurrency theft? on: January 01, 2020, 05:55:50 PM
Just to find out any additional information. I'm well aware recovery of funds is all but impossible, but I would like to know who was involved in the theft. Even if I cant find out who specifically I think the right person could likely uncover more than I know now.
You are likely going to spend huge sums of money on that. Why don't you move on and rather save the extra money on how to protect yourself and also get yourself some hardware wallets to use. I believe this is much important than trying to go on this wild goose chase which is likely going to yield no results.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2009 - 2019 Bitcoins First Decade Closes With . . . on: January 01, 2020, 12:38:01 PM
The returns on bitcoin investment is what drive many crypto investors into investing into it. Many investors have gained fortunes by just investing into bitcoin or making crypto day trading. Sadly most newbies get into bitcoin with these reasons and if they get rekt with their trading plans they turn to think that investing into bitcoin is bad or not fruitful. Earning from bitcoin investment comes with patience people so get some Smiley
