The new site looks great, but as long as the order book remain almost empty and spread high, people will stay away. When was it launched?
It was launched in beta in december 2010. The new version was released a month ago with a new banking partner. We are still in the process of having the new banking partner verify accounts ( to open a payment account for each BC customer): this takes time but it is the price to pay for compliance with European regulation. Since BC is adding this way hundreds of verified accounts every week, we expect the trade volume to go up gradually. |

Je vois régulièrement apparaître des projets basés sur une architecture décentralisée (jeux vidéos ou autre). J'aimerais juste qu'avant de vous lancer là dedans vous vous rendiez bien compte que si le bitcoin est décentralisé c'est que c'est une absolue nécessitée pour respecter son cahier des charges (indépendances des institutions financières etc) et pas du tout pour le plaisir. La décentralisation est une énorme vulnérabilité qui nécessite un paquet de contre-mesures.
Bitcoin est fiable parce que le réseau est assez développé et surtout parce que le système est assez bien pensé pour motiver les gens à jouer le jeu. Mais il ne faut pas oublier que le protocole remplit des fonctions terriblement primitives à un coût astronomique. Et que c'est juste une conséquence de la décentralisation.
En conclusion : si vous voulez faire un truc légal faites le centralisé. Le P2P pose plus de problèmes qu'il n'en résout.
Les architectures centralisées ont un coût astronomiques car elles sont redondantes; le réseau bitcoin fait à peu près la même chose que les réseaux et les datacenters de toutes les banques du monde réunies. Je ne parle pas des infrastucutres et de la logistique pour gérer les billets de banque. Ton analyse des coûts devrait être plus approfondie. Quant à faire un "truc" centralisé de plus: quel intérêt ? |

Strange: you are supplying a support ticket number. BC does not use ticket numbers, only accounts. Are you a real customer or a new avatar of tvbcof (tvbcof is on my ignore list for accute paranoia symptoms) ? Indeed, the number is not « public ». It is only visible at the end of the URL when you show the details of the ticket. And yes, i'm a real customer, and don't know who tvbcof is. A new day, no more withdrawal… And if this is a confirmation link problem, confirmation link was surely validated next evening when I re-re-re-try it… "Bitcoin transfers are processed once a day from Monday to Friday." That is an excerpt from our "Withdraw bitcoin page". So if you confirmed the withdrawal say Friday after the batch was sent, then you are not getting your BTCs until Monday (tomorrow). This delay is due to human verification of each and every withdrawals. It should go down to a couple hours after this initial (re-launch) period we are in. |

I got one question if i put my btc here in this wallet Bitcoin-Central im possible then to withdraw to my bank account ?
When you sign up wih bitcoin-central you get a payment account (in Euro) once your account is verified by our banking partner (BC does not do account verification itself). From your payment account you can then withdraw Euros to the bank account you have registered upon sign up. |

BTC withdrawals require clicking on a confirmation link: the only reason for a delay in excess of one business day is that you did not check the confirmation email. I do not see an open support ticket on this subject. Instant btc withdrawals are going to be deployed soon but right now BC is still perfoming under human supervision for ultimate security. |

Still waiting for my withdrawal (appears as processed) 13th of October. Even after Boussac's PM, issue is not resolved. Verification done prior to withdrawal.
Anybody received a SEPA withdrawal after selling some BTC since the re-opening ?
There is an issue with your withdraw request but it will be sorted out; other withdrawals are being processed rather smoothly by our banking partner. The objective of less than 2 business days on average will be met. |

Withdrawals ARE working. BC's banking partner has a problem with your particular wire request but that does not mean other wires are not going out. Your problem will be sorted out so there is no need to infer things that are not facts. Besides the price sur mtgox is 154.52 € right now while it is 153 € sur BC. BC prices have been consistently lower by a fair albeit fluctuating spread relative to gox since the relaunch of BC. |

Pour avoir un impact, ton scénario est assez coûteux à mettre en place donc on finirait sans doute par savoir qui est derrière (par exemple le Credit Mutuel): tu imagines l'info qui circulerait sur internet du genre "le Credit Mutuel s'amuse avec bitcoin" !
En plus, les effets pratiques disparaitrait avec un prochain checkpoint dans le code..

C'est tout le problème: chez bitcoin.de, le vendeur de bitcoin peut voir ses bitcoins "gelés" pendant plusieurs jours en attendant que l'acheteur se décide à lui envoyer son virement. Ce n'est pas un exchange mais une plateforme de mise en relation, rien de plus.
Les exchanges disponibles en zone euro sont bitcoin-central, mtgox et bitstamp.
Attention à mtgox et bitstamp car ils ne sont pas conformes à la législation européeenne (ils font eux-mêmes les vérifications de compte alors que ça doit être fait par une banque ou un établissement de paiement pour les euros) et les avoirs en euros peuvent être gelés pour de bon si les autorités s'en mêlent.
Bitcoin-central est à ma connaissance le seul exchange qui est en règle.
