The price on Bittrex is manipulated!!! one man show,pumps and down for two past days. the prices is funny  changes in 5 minutes.... from 1100 till 700. just dont sell it or u sell if u nuts  regards to all It's because the volume is so low any one with over 1BTC can manipulate the market currently |

If you think about it logically Cinni got up to 17K at its peak before the second pump and they had only 15M coins and Cinni was a simple clone. SilkCoin on the other hand has some new innovative features and about 35M coins after the 1st PoW phase. Therefore making 7K would be fairly easy |

Thanks again for the info. I am sorry for being so direct. I guess, I have been disappointed too often. I have talked to the dev team alot on IRC when I helped them with the wallet, I have nothin to do with the dev team here, I am on other projects, but they seems very dedicated and have alot of ideas for this coin. I trust them so far and they will make this coin huge if they continue the path. Give SilkCoin one or two months. I guarantee you it will reach close to 10K |

Cut the second POW stage and limit the coin to 50 mill. Makes way more sense.
Impossible to do that now I think. The bad thing about 2 Pow stages is that you have a month of price increase (POS). After that, the multipools are going to dump again. (But that can also be an opportunity voor us to buy cheap) Even Blackcoin has 100 mil coins and the price is the same as cinni, which has 10x less. Max amount of coins doesn't always tell something about the price. I'm sure a soft fork could cut the second POS stage out? But on the other hand it could also work to our current advantage, with more miners it brings more popularity to SilkCoin. It depends on wheter the difficulty is set to 0 again for the second POW stage. |
