I guess the perception is that NXT whales lucked out compared to BTC whales.
To have accumulated tens or hundreds of thousands of BTC you would have had to have spent a long, long time mining them or spent a decent amount of cash buying them.
In comparison the NXT whales laid out a fraction of a bitcoin and it landed in their lap a few weeks later so there's less emotional investment on their part.
Now I'm sure there are many, many people devoting masses of time and effort to NXT but that wouldn't have been the case for a chunk of the original 71 or so. It was just a cool sounding project that they put some money into.
I dont have the figures but many have shown that NXT distribution is far more even now than BTC. People had a lot of opportunity to buy low as well. Plus the biggest moves may be infront of us once NXT goes mainstream in the press. Are you sure? If I was one of the original NXT stakeholders, there's no way I'd sell any of my coins, but I guess there are whales in every coin, no mater how fairly you try to distribute them. |

Yeah I know people start these threads to pump their coin and yeah I do own some. But I get a feeling that NXT is about to make a moon shot. I absolutely could be wrong but its a vibe i'm getting. I think maybe people are tired of the shitcoin clones, tired of the NXT clones and wanting to get into something that is more stable and long term. Of course the asset exchange is also a factor. I think some people who are new and haven't heard the negativity about the distribution are just seeing NXT for what it is ie a highly innovative system that is at the moment unchallenged.
I personally believe it should be worth many times what it is now but I'm saying this cause my spidey senses are its gonna rocket and once it does it wont come down easily. Many times before I got this vibe before a spike up and I was right, so lets see here...

Is this a sarcastic post? lololololol But I have a feeling NXT will explode once the asset exchange comes online, then one of the 73 whale/stakeholder will cash out their stash and send NXT from the moon down to middle-earth. I joined this forum due to NXT so yeah the term next generation coin was floating around, I wouldn't think too deeply about it. I own a bunch of coins and mainly am interested in Next Generation coins especially NXT, EXO and Qora, I mean why wouldn't I be. Are you interested in last generation coins? Liking the best technology is far more honest than all the BS pumping of shitcoins that goes on here. Of course I will talk up coins I own but at least I own them cause I believe in their potential. By the way the guy who asked if I was being sarcastic, well I looked through his last posts the the latest coins he seems interested in are Bunnycoin and Piratecoin, I shit you not. So who is the dickhead me or him? Same here man, I only own coins because I believe they have some real potential. Which is why I have most of my BTC stashed in BlackCoin. I know BlackCoin doesn't have the amount of features as say NXT, but its the community that drives the coin forward and with some promising stuff like BlackCoin Cards, BlackCoin shows some huge potential for the future. The only thing that turned me off NXT was the initial distribution, where stakeholders could crash NXT at any point. |

Wall Street Takeover UpdateInstead of replying to multiple comments, I decided to address some concerns in one post.
Why are we using women? It seems trashy and gives BlackCoin a bad image.
Lets face it sex sells and almost every brand uses sex to sell. Women all dressed alike will garner the attention of everyone and that is what we want. The women will be dressed in black BlackCoin T-Shirts and black jeans or leggings. They will not be dressed trashy, nor will anything inappropriate be exposed. It will be tasteful and the women we hire will have a certain professionalism. No matter if you agree with using women or not, men love to see attractive women. And men will stop and talk, interact with the women, and of course take pictures. By the end of the day BlackCoin Beauty pics and videos will be all over the net.
Why not move this to Times Square?
Been there, done that. My favorite place to have a drink is the Living Room Bar @ The W Hotel Times Square. I am a regular there and as many of you know that area is flooded with people. There is something going on there almost everyday. The problem is 50 women in Times Square will not garner the same attention as Wall Street. Also, as I pointed out we want the backdrop of Wall Street in our photos and videos. We want to associate BlackCoin with wealth. If we really wanted attention we could also give away $5000 worth of BlackCoins to some random person.
This is a waste of money, why are we doing this?
You have to spend money to make money. Yes we could place an ad in a magazine or a newspaper, and yes we could send out dozens of press releases. But this is something that will create instant buzz and give BC notoriety. It shows that this community can think out the box and we are not just another alt coins. It sends a message to the crypto community BlackCoin is on another level.
Will the women be able to explain BlackCoin?
This is not a "lets educate Wall Street about BlackCoin" campaign. We could care less if the women will be effective at explaining the mechanics of BlackCoin. Lets be honest, half the people who are invested in BlackCoin could not effectively explain the mechanics of BlackCoin. That is why the women will have sell sheets and the cards. People who receive the sell sheets and cards will eventually do their own research when they are winding down and near a computer. The purpose of this event is to attract the attention of the media, and using the images/videos to go viral.
How do we know you can pull this off?
It has already been pointed out I have a huge ego.  So my ego will not allow me to do anything less than a successful event. At the end of the day I want this to be perfect because it increases the value of my portfolio as well.
What if it is successful but we do not get the media attention we wanted?
We tried and that is all that matters. We can keep doing the same thing everyone else has been doing, or we can continue setting the bar higher. To be successful you have to take risks. If you are not willing to take risks then crypto is not for you.
We have a chance here to make history. If another coin copies us, we will still be the first to have done it. I say lets go make rypto history!!!

Good point about the pictures. I didn't think about that. You should let the ladies know to use a specific hashtag when guys are posting up the pic. Come up with a good one like #blackcointakeover or something. Have 1 lady hold up a huge sign with #blackcointakeover so any random bystander who takes a pic will have the correct hashtag or QR code. Very good idea! Actually we can put it on the T-Shirts once we agree on the hashtag. This is the kind of brainstorming we need.... Hey Iconic, Just an idea. Why not draft a short introduction "booklet" that gives some basic information on BlackCoin and crypto's in general. It needn't be too long only 3 or so pages would be fine, just to introduce people into crypto's. You could have the girls give out the booklet just to random people as they walk by to so that they may read it on their own later and educate themselves a bit about BlackCoin and crypto's. |

Aside from the ponzi scheme where they used their customers money to pay their own debt. They are now depositing .0003 BTC into my account every day to make up for the 13 BTC they took without my permission. If you can do 3rd grade math then you know it will only take 43,333 days for me to get my money back... or 118 years if you prefer a smaller number. These guys need to own up to their mismanagement of their exchange and deposit all of the BTC they took back into their customers accounts.
That's really bad to hear man. Was that all of your BTC? |
